Chapter 9 Atone for Our Sins

All the guests present gasped in shock when they heard Sophie's confession. Most of them left the hall in a hurry.

Exasperated, Henry immediately slapped her across the face.

Holding her stinging cheek, Sophie looked at him in disbelief. "Stop acting like a deeply affectionate husband! Could I have had the affair alone? It takes two to tango, you know! Besides, weren't you the one who cut her belly open and took the fetus out? Henry, you truly are inhuman!"

Instead of answering Sophie, Henry dragged Sophie toward the elevator.

"Let go of me!"

No matter how hard Sophie fought to break free, Henry never let go. He kept dragging her until they arrived at the rooftop.

"Henry, what are you trying to do?" As Sophie seemed to notice that something was strange with Henry's behavior, she tried to retreat. Unfortunately, Henry had already locked the door to the rooftop.

"You were right. We both are sinners. We have sinned against Isabella and her baby. So, let's atone for our sins here!"
