3.1 Payment Method & Account Information

Payment Method

• We offer payments via bank transfer and Payoneer. We highly recommend

  Payoneer as it allows you to receive payments shortly after dispatch.

  Payments made through bank transfers might experience some delay before

  they're credited to your account.

• Ensure that you input your payment information with utmost accuracy. If there

  are mistakes in the provided payment details, there's a risk of payment failure.

  In cases of payment failure, the amount will be deferred to the subsequent month.

  If the payment is successful but sent to an incorrect account due to inaccurate

  information, we will not reissue the payment.

• It's important to select your preferred payment method wisely. Remember,

  any associated transfer fees will be your responsibility. If you notice a discrepancy

  between the expected payment and the amount you receive, this discrepancy is likely

  due to the deduction of transfer fees. GoodNovel does not deduct any fees from your

  transaction.

Account Information

To input your payment details, visit your user center and select the "payment info" option.

You can view your earnings by accessing your personal page on a PC and clicking the

"detail" button, or by selecting "Income" in the Author Center on the app.

Important Notices:

• Editors cannot assist with modifying your account information. While you can update

  this information yourself, if you're entering details of an account that doesn't belong

  to you, please notify your editor beforehand.

• Any changes made to your account information before the 4th of the month will

  take effect immediately. Changes made after the 4th will be implemented on the 1st of

  the following month.

• Review your payment amounts after the 5th of every month. Should you find any

  discrepancies, please reach out to your editor by the 10th. Alterations to the current

  month's payment might not be feasible after this date.

3.2 Payment Process

Earnings from the previous month are finalized after the 3rd of each month, with payments

starting from the 10th. The timing of payment receipt may vary based on your chosen payment

method and location.

Withdrawals are processed monthly or in the month following when your earnings exceed $100.

If your income is below $100, it rolls over to the next month until the $100 threshold is met. Note: "Accumulated income" refers to the total earnings from the day you began your partnership

with GoodNovel until now.

3.3 Late Payments

Payments commence after the 10th of each month. However, international transactions,

particularly bank transfers, might take longer. Kindly wait until the end of the calendar month.

Sometimes, due to holidays, there might be a slight delay. We appreciate your patience.

If your payment hasn't arrived by the month's end, please inform your editor, who can verify

the payment status for you.

#I heard that Payoneer transactions only take a $2 fee per transaction. Is it true and how do I set it up?

Yes, we have integrated with the Payoneer API and we strongly recommend you utilize it.

The advantage of using Payoneer is its lower transfer fee, which is why we advocate for it over traditional bank accounts.

For the $2 fee policy to be applicable, you must add GoodNovel's account to your list of payers on Payoneer.

Ensure that your Payoneer account is verified, typically requiring an ID photo and additional information. Once your account is linked and verified, you'll benefit from the $2 transaction fee policy!

#Can I get a Monthly Attendance Bonus (MAB) from the 1st month I sign?

Yes. But please note that the 50k words required for the MAB don't include the 30k words that are already counted in the signing bonus, and you can only get a MAB after the signing bonus has been added to your account. This would require a minimum of 80,000 words in your first month.

#If I sign multiple exclusive books with GoodNovel, how much can I earn each month?

Regardless of the number of books you've signed exclusively with GoodNovel, we'll only consider one book per month for the Monthly Attendance Bonus (MAB). For instance, if you have two books ongoing simultaneously and one of them reaches 50k words with 25 days of updates in a given month, you will qualify for the MAB. This process is automatic; once any of your exclusive books meet the criteria within the month, you'll receive the MAB, irrespective of which book it is.

Do note that word counts or update days from different books cannot be combined to achieve this bonus. For instance, if each of your two books has 25k words and 15 days of updates within the month, you would not be eligible for the MAB.

#If my book is completed but I forget to tell my editor it’s completed, can I still receive the completion bonus? 

You need to contact your editor and ask your editor to mark your book as “completed” in order to receive the completion bonus.

Please note if your word count did not reach the completion bonus requirement upon completion, even if you request to chang the book’s status to ongoing to make up the word count, the completion bonus WILL NOT be added to you again.

#Will I still receive the profit share besides the exclusive writer’s benefit?

Yes. Unless you have discussed it with your editor and reached a special agreement.

#If I have 2 exclusive books under the new plan at the same time, can I receive 2 MABs every month?

No, in a single calendar month, you can only receive 1 MAB. But, you can receive a signing bonus and a completion bonus for each exclusive book respectively.
