Gaia POV.

My heart clenches at seeing Leo like this and I know I should have intervened sooner, but I couldn’t. I was too wrapped up in my selfish pride and ego to look at the bigger picture, but boy am I looking now. He is a shell of his former self and I don’t like it at all.

“Then come home.” I say to him and he looks at me like he has just been slapped in the face.

“What?” he looks at me in disbelief.

“I said, come home. Leo, we can’t be away from you either. We need to be a united front and Jake is right. We will fight and argue, but we need to be together. I know I said I couldn’t be with you until this is sorted, so we need to sort this out. We can’t go on like this,” I tell him as I try to stand, but can’t. Damn bump is always in the way.
