“Something is off with him, Gaia, this isn’t Nic.” Kodiak speaks in my head and I couldn’t agree more with her. Upon closer inspection, I realised something. There is a lingering shimmer on him and I can’t sense his wolf! Nic, what have you done?

“Where is the woman that was in here with him?” I asked my mates through the link. I need to find her. Something is seriously off.

“She is wrapped in a sheet held against the wall by Julia.” I smirk as I turn and head towards the door and see Julia pressing the woman into the wall, her forearm held against the back of the woman’s neck. Good.
