Calista POV.

I push the shopping cart around the hardware store and I try my best to not laugh at how panicked Gaia really is. She has gone crazy adding stuff like fire extinguishers, bubble wrap, baby safety devices. She has even asked about reinforced steel.

“What is she doing?” Gabe asks from the side he too has a cart, same as Leo and Jake. I sigh as I shake my head.

“Well, she has realised how she was as a pup and what she was capable of, so she is panicking that our pups will be just the same, or worse. I have tried to tell her, but you know what she is like.” I tell him and he shakes his head as he looks at the contents of his cart and I chuckle.

This is what we call the crazy train. She is in charge, and all we can do is go along for the ride. That being said, I draw the line at nets and tarp.
