Chapter 4 The announcement

Taking a stroll around the Kuwaiti castle, I was lost in thought. In three months big news is coming, Ji-hoon will finally make his first public appearance as the heir to Kuwaiti Group and the new CEO, because his father will retire.

Ji-hoon's family also wants me to appear with Ji-hoon on that day as his wife. This will be such big news that I wish I could be there in New York to see the look on my family's faces, especially my stepmother. 

I still can't believe they had the guts to lie to the public that my husband and I got divorced and I decided to give up the business and go live a private life. I still don't know what to do with those people who caused me pain which can never be healed, the nightmares I have every night watching my baby's life snatched out of me in cold hands. One thing is for sure I will never forgive them and they will pay dearly but for the meantime let me enjoy watching Chloe on the TV as she enjoys my place as the heiress. I must say the unmerited position really suits her but too bad, it won't last because soon I'll be back.

I came across a waterfall and I was hypnotized instantly. The view is so beautiful because beautiful green grasses, flowers, and plant trees were used to beautify the waterfall. The view is to die for, I mean people would pay millions just to take a picture.

I've always watched the Kuwaiti Group of companies on the news, they are crazily wealthy that I never knew that the love of my life was actually the heir, and all this while he watched me admire his family and said nothing to me, he was so humble that he took in all the insults my family threw at him, when in reverse he's the true gem and should be the one to put them in their place. 

I felt a presence behind me and slowly turned to see Ji-hoon standing behind me, his face brightened immediately our eyes met, 

“Have you been standing for long?” I asked with a smile

“Maybe” He shrugged with a smile as he tucked his hand into his pant pocket and began advancing toward me

“You look good Amore,” He said to me, as he finally stood before me with his hand on my tummy caressing it, he always knew how to make me blush 

“Are you feeling pain in your tummy?” 

“A little it's almost healed,” I said, not able to take my eyes away. How was I able to get myself a handsome, rich, caring, and loving husband all in one person, am I not so lucky?

“Ahh…is something on my face?” He asked touching his face,

“No, I was just wondering…”

“Wondering?” He asked and I nodded 

“I was just wondering how I got so lucky with you” 

“Lucky?” He looked away blushing so hard, 

I smiled and turned back to admire the waterfall

“You like it?”

“Hmm, it's so beautiful just looking at it makes me feel so at peace” 

“My father” 

“Your father? You mean Mr Gaeti Kuwaiti?” 

“Hmmm”

“What happened, is everything okay?” 

“You know my father is going to be retiring soon right and I will be taking over?”

“Hmm, your mum Haera Kuwaiti said it during breakfast this morning”

“My father said the official announcement to inform the public of my appearance date will be made tomorrow”

“Oh, so from tomorrow the public will know that the Kuwaiti heir will soon make his first appearance?”

“Hmm, guess our family will get more popular from now on”

“Yeah, the public will be curious to know who the Kuwaiti heir is, I think they will anticipate your appearance from now on, and so many companies will want to get close to you just to work with you because Kuwaiti is a big name, and any company that is collaborating with it will be considered big as well.”

“Wow…..I never knew my wife was super smart” He caressed his jaws with a wow look as he stared at me

“So the news will be made tomorrow when your appearance is actually in three months?”

“Hmmm”

“Aren't people going to die of curiosity?”

“Nhhh, I think the longer the better”

“Mmm…., that sounds good too, the longer the better”

I caressed my arms cause the weather was becoming cold and the waterfall made the place so code, Ji-hoon took off his jacket immediately and covered me with it,

“Let's go inside” 

He wrapped his arms around me as we made our way back to the castle. We walked into the grand living room on the first floor and met Ji-hoon's father on a call, he waved for us to come and we both walked to him, 

“Alright get them ready by tomorrow,” Mr Gaeti Kuwaiti said to whoever was on the line as he hung up the phone

“Father you called us,” Ji-hoon said

“I just finished speaking with my secretary,” He said and Ji-hoon and I listened for him to finish his words

“Somehow the rumor has already started circulating, I don't know how but Kuwaiti Group Heir  is the number 1 trending topic worldwide right now and in the last three hours we have gotten up to 300 hundred business proposals from different countries all over the world”

“Huh…..?!” Ji-hoon and I yelled in shock

“That's not the funny part” Mr Kuwaiti muttered caressing his jaw

“Say it, Father”

He looked at both Ji-hoon and I before saying

“Ji-hoon already got 50 marriage proposals and one of them is from Vanchez Empire”
