Zara
I met with Tanna on the patio and we sat there waiting for Tiara to show up. I had already called one of the workers to get the boat ready. I would have told Aminu but we weren't on speaking terms right now.
I had told Tanna already about the situation with Aminu and how we weren't speaking to each other. "I never imagined that you guys would fight like this. I mean, you're like the air he breathes." Tanna said.
"Well I thought that we were on the same page, apparently not." I replied sadly, looking down at my nails.
"Don't worry, he'll realize that he's messed up soon. Just continue doing what you're doing" she said and I nodded.
"So how's it going with Louis. Have you guys sealed the deal yet?" I asked with a small knowing smile.
Her face fell "actually, its now much more complicated than before. I've decided to just let it be. Let him do him. I never thought in a m
Zara."I don't understand. You guys are talking like you are sure that I was innocent" Tumini said with a confused look on her face. I smirked. She didn't know that we knew that Jasmine set her up. She probably didn't even know that she was set up."Yeah we are. You don't know?" Tiara said while I was still contemplating on whether to tell her or not.Tumini frowned while Tanna sipped her champagne. She couldn't be bothered. "Know what?" Tumini asked.I rolled my eyes "obviously you know that Jasmine set you up right?" I said. I knew there was no way that she could have known being that she had little to no contact with Aminu and his friends for two years. I felt like since Jasmine didn't attack without warning you to leave a man that's not hers and threatening you, she should have known it was her."What?" Tumini exclaimed in shock.I rolled my eyes again. Was she that stupid? It was obvious. That was the only person who was against her wit
Zara. The water filled me as I struggled to get back to the surface even though I couldn't swim, but I didn't want to die. I tried and tried, clawing at the water with all my might but I couldn't levitate myself to the surface. My chest became tighter as my air began to diminish. It wasn't until the surface became far away that I realized that I was now sinking. My eyes began drooping shut as I felt my consciousness leave me. I shouldn't have taken of the life jacket. The next think I saw was the captain over me while I fervently coughed and water sprouted out of my mouth. I panted and gasped for air as I levitated my body up from its position in the boat."Oh my God, thank the heavens that you're okay Zara." Tanna exclaimed coming to hug me. Her cheeks were stained with tears, she had been crying."We were so worried. You can't swim" Tiara said hugging me as well. The culprit who pushed me into the water intentionally in the first place was
ZaraI got up from the bed ignoring the pains I was passing through from that action and proceeded to chase Aminu down the hall. I noticed that he was headed for the lounge area downstairs where Tumini, Kojo Louis, Tanna and Tiara were sat. Lanre and Tayo were not present at the moment."What the fuck is wrong with you?" Aminu barked, charging into the living room making everyone jump in shock. He went to face Tumini."Aminu please calm down" I held his shoulder but he shrugged it off. At that point I knew I had to let him air out his grievances.Tumini looked down as Kojo stood up and got in Aminu's face."You won't speak to my girlfriend that way Aminu" Kojo growled. Aminu stood his ground and even moved closer to Kojo."Why don't you ask your 'girlfriend' why she thought it wise to attempt drowning my fiancée" Aminu growled and
Zara. After the whole discussion outside, I decided to go and talk to Louis personally and assure him that we weren't judging him in any way even though he was being reckless. He seemed really hurt by what we were saying but it was my duty to assure him that we didn't mean it that way.I went absent minded lay down the corridors and almost bumped into Tumini. What did she want now?She looked really downtrodden and sad and I understood her. The whole house saw Aminu flip on her and it was quite disgraceful and disheartening. That was the exact reason why I didn't want to tell Aminu in the first place but I couldn't bring myself to lie to him."What is it?" I snapped when she blocked my way. I felt sorry for her but that didn't meant I liked her."Hey, can we talk?" She asked."I have absolutely nothing to say to you Tumini. I wouldn't let
Zara.I followed Kojo like a lost puppy down the halls and it seemed like we were going on the direction of my bedroom. "Kojo, where are we..""Shhhh" he quieted me mid sentence, placing a finger on his lip.I quieted down as he held my hand and guided me back to my room. Once we were almost there, he placed his finger on his lips again quietly. We started tip toeing once we got closer to the room."I hear voices" he whispered in a hushed tone and pointed at the door. I also listened in and heard a female voice and a male voice bantering words with each other."Listen" Kojo whispered again and I did just that."Why don't you want me? You used to say that I'm your type in every way." I heard Tumini say with a low seductive tone. I felt utterly betrayed. This was someone I was going to try to amend things with and the moment I turned around
Zara.It was finally time for the beach wide bonfire. Here, we were going to be joined by the residents of other beach houses on this particular beach. The other ones were a bit far from ours as our was very secluded and private, but I was looking forward to the bonfire. There was going to be traditional dancing and a showcase of different Nigerian cultures plus a lot of African dishes much to my excitement. The only issue was that,Aminu and I could not get out of bed."Babe, aren't we going to get up?" I asked groggily. We laid butt naked with our bodies intertwined with each other after an intense lovemaking session. After everything that had happened on this very extremely long Saturday. We actually needed the sweet release."Argh I don't know. I want to stay here with you all night. I just noticed how much I've missed you" Aminu said."Missed me? I've been here all along." I
Third Person. The bonfire was in full swing. It was being held in the middle of the beach with all the guests that were currently resident in their respective beach houses. All except Zara and Aminu. It appeared that they couldn't get enough of each other as the made love the whole time with which they were supposed to dress up and head over to the party. The cultural music boomed into Aminu and Zara's room, making them fully aware that they were exceptionally late for the party."Wow, we are missing a lot" Zara said, laying on the bare floor with Aminu. They panted loudly after their last umpteenth round of very intense love making. They both laughed at themselves."Nope, I have everything I need right here" Aminu said, trailing his fingers down her body making her shiver."I think we should go. Lanre will soon come and bang that door." Zara said knowing how particular Lanre was
Zara. It was a very fun one. Even with my eyes hazy thanks to the alcohol. I love every bit of the dance. There were cultural drummers playing instruments for us as we held onto each other by the shoulders or in Aminu's case, the waist, moving around the fire with joy and happiness. At some point, people started taking turns to dance in front of the fire. They were showing off sick and enjoyable moves until it was my turn to dance... I was beyond nervous and reluctant to step out. "Go on baby" Aminu whispered in my ear when he noticed my reluctance. He nudged me slightly on the waist. "No, I'm shy" I said smiling and hiding my face. "Okay, I'll go dance with you, plus your favorite artist is on" he said. Kissing my cheek. Giving it a thought for a moment and imagining him up there dance with me. I decided to give it a go. Am
