Third Person.
The bonfire was in full swing. It was being held in the middle of the beach with all the guests that were currently resident in their respective beach houses. All except Zara and Aminu. It appeared that they couldn't get enough of each other as the made love the whole time with which they were supposed to dress up and head over to the party.
The cultural music boomed into Aminu and Zara's room, making them fully aware that they were exceptionally late for the party.
"Wow, we are missing a lot" Zara said, laying on the bare floor with Aminu. They panted loudly after their last umpteenth round of very intense love making. They both laughed at themselves.
"Nope, I have everything I need right here" Aminu said, trailing his fingers down her body making her shiver.
"I think we should go. Lanre will soon come and bang that door." Zara said knowing how particular Lanre was
Zara. It was a very fun one. Even with my eyes hazy thanks to the alcohol. I love every bit of the dance. There were cultural drummers playing instruments for us as we held onto each other by the shoulders or in Aminu's case, the waist, moving around the fire with joy and happiness. At some point, people started taking turns to dance in front of the fire. They were showing off sick and enjoyable moves until it was my turn to dance... I was beyond nervous and reluctant to step out. "Go on baby" Aminu whispered in my ear when he noticed my reluctance. He nudged me slightly on the waist. "No, I'm shy" I said smiling and hiding my face. "Okay, I'll go dance with you, plus your favorite artist is on" he said. Kissing my cheek. Giving it a thought for a moment and imagining him up there dance with me. I decided to give it a go. Am
Zara. Previously... The fear that crept into my bones was unexplainable. What in the name of God was she doing here. I thought that I was finally rid of the witch. I tapped Aminu frantically. He looked at me with confusion. "What what baby?" He said to my incessant tapping. "Jasmine is here.. Jasmine is here" I said rapidly, trying with all my might to contain my fears. "Where did you see her?" He asked. "Don't look. She's looking at us from outside the circle. I don't want her to know that we know she's here" I told him. "Okay I've seen her. What the f*ck is she doing here?" ——- 107. Aminu “I wouldn’t have an idea. I thought she ran away Should we go and talk to her?” Zara asked me. I rubbed my face, th
Aminu. It was finally time to go back to work. I was trying my hardest to make sure that Zara was faring better and now she could walk and she had her memories, it was safe to say that I could now add other activities into my schedule with her still being the top priority. I went into the lobby at about mid afternoon when work was already at it's very peak so everyone was busy. I tried to slip into the place unnoticed but it didn't work as the lobby was bustling with staff roaming around who couldn't help but greet me in order to not get fired. "Good morning sir, I didn't know you would be here today" my assistant said. He met me on my way to my private elevator. I shook my head "I thought I would surprise you guys today. Lakisha is upstairs right?" I asked while going into the elevator. "Um, y-yes sir" he answered in an awkward manner. "Why are y
Aminu. Previously.... "Seems like drama follows y'all everywhere" she said sounding more amused than anything else. "Except when we go outside the country, just the two of us. I won't be making this mistake again a t least until I'm sure that all our enemies are out of our lives for good because I'm very tired to say the very least." "It's fine. I'm glad you're back though, so that I can finally rest" she said. I smiled "I knew it. All this acting like you love the job. All lies" "I'm surprised you even bought it" she said grinning. "My dear, I didn't buy nothing. I know you too well already booboo. You hate anything called hard labour" I said and stood up. "My dear, let me go and see your boyfriend" I said grabbing my phone and keys.
Aminu. Previously... "If only you will calm down maybe you will fall in love too" I teased. "Oh I was in love before but you know, she betrayed me" he said. "Yeah Lola. She's still at Zurich yeah?" I asked. I hadn't heard anything about that case for a while. "Yeah she's there but she wants to come back to Kaph. Zara won't let her obviously." Louis said. "Of course she won't. Zara hates rubbish so I'm not surprised. Plus Lotanna already has her position and is doing a great job." I said. As much as Lola and I were friends, I had to stand on the rational side here. She wasn't to be trusted anymore. Me being someone who was betrayed by my own staff, I could see how bringing her back was a very bad idea. "Yeah. Anyway I'm not about to fall for her whims again." He said. "Stay strong buddy" I said patting
Zara Previously.... "Congratulations to you both." He beamed. "Thanks doc" I said from my position beside Zara. "Thank you" she also replied. "So, this certainly changes things. I will be mailing you a list of vitamins you should be taking. The most important though, is Folic Acid for your baby's health and yours as well" he said and told us more medical mumbo jumbo. Zara still looked moody "Baby cheer up, we're becoming parents." I said excitedly, putting an arm around her shoulders. I knew how overwhelming it was for her because she was relatively still very young. "I'm still processing all this" she said with a dry laugh and then frowned again. "What if I'm not a good mother" she said out of the blue. "What that's not possible.
Aminu Previously... "Mommy mommy mommy" "Hey baby boy" I said laughing. "Hi mommy. I missed you" his little voice chirped up. He had been at Lakisha's house for the weekend till we got back. Aminu placed maximum security there to avoid people like Jasmine coming around there. I had requested that because I knew how crazy she could be. "So Daddy doesn't deserve a hug huh?" Aminu said and I looked at him and laughed. He was pouting like a little kid. "No daddy deserves a hug" Nasir said and left me, going to hug his daddy. I didn't realize how much I missed the little bundle of joy until now. It was easy to forget who birthed the kid and it felt like I was the one who gave birth to him. The connection I felt to the kid was immense "How was aunty kiki's house. Did you have fun?"
Aminu. Previously... I entered my solicitor's office feeling eager to get down to business. The middle aged man stood up dressed in his normal lawyer's regalia of white and black with a suit to top it off and greeted me. "You're welcome sir. Please have a seat" he said and I walked straight to have a seat. "So, I take it you also received the lawsuit?" I said. "Yes sir and I was about to call you when you eventually called. This case is not going to be too hard if we take the right steps." He said and brought out a notepad where he had written his ideas down. I liked him because he thought ahead. "Okay so what is your suggestion?" I said and waited for him to speak. He rubbed his chin "First I'd like to ask how you came to be in possession of this child." "You see that's where the problem is. She gave
