We both knelt there as I stared at her, nervously waiting for her answer. I was hyperventilating and dreading the fact that she was taking a little bit to long to answer. Did she not want to marry me? Did she not love me enough to want forever with me. I was anxious and my forehead was sweaty. I had never been in this kind of position. I knew it was not going to come easily because Zara wasn't an easy nut to crack and I also never spoke to her about marriage or anything of the sort all in a bid to surprise her, I now realized that I should have spoken to her about it at least to know where she stood. I just hoped she wouldn't turn me down. It would absolutely crush my soul.
