Zara

My phone rang from its position on the nightstand beside our bed, waking me up from my slumber. It was not morning yet so I wondered who would be calling me at that hour. I obviously knew that the call was from Nigeria because I didn't know anybody in Greece.

I stretched my hand in annoyance and grabbed the phone from the stand.

It was Lotanna. The fact that it was five am here and Nigeria was two hours behind was making me perplexed at why she was calling me at three am. I answered reluctantly.

"Tanna, don't you sleep?" I slurred.

"I saw a blog post about you" she said rapidly. I rolled my eyes and said "yeah, haven't we all?"

"No no another one. This one actually cleared your name in fact. There was a lot of new information about you and your relationship with Aminu. People were really apologetic. You can check it out" she rapidly said and hung up.
