This is our last day in the Diamond Realm, and Jordan—using his title as Alpha of the Crescent Moon Pack—has found some last-minute tickets to the last day of the trials for the candidates for the title of regent.

The first day we arrived in Avalon, I learned that the candidates have to pass ten trials and tasks established by the former regent. The Games, as they call the competition, started around two months ago with over fifty participants, but the number slowly reduced to only five. All the participants have their identities hidden. They wear masks and cloak their scents.

Today the last tasks will be held, and the ones with the highest scores will be proposed as future regents tonight during the Yule Ball.

Jordan and Ruth are going to the ball, but I decided to spend my last night in Avalon by going with Sky and Kevin to an ice shop we discovered on our first day here.

From the moment we checked into the hotel, Sky wanted to explore the city. I
