Freya Rose
I heard footsteps running across the wooden floors within the main house. I knew I didn't have much time, and by the sounds of it there were at least thirty wolves headed my way, and I knew I wouldn't be able to fight them all off. Without getting any of my stuff I quickly flew up into the sky and took off over the trees. I flew for hours until I reached the woods around my father's property, I was so exhausted. I lowered myself down onto the floor and descended. I knelt down onto the dirt and sobbed into my hands.
‘Ring… Ring... Ring… Ring...’
I reached for the purse that I had draped around my body and pulled out my phone. Tristan's name flashed up on the screen, I didn't really want to answer it, but I had no choice in the matter, as my thumb had already pressed the green button.
“Hey, no fair!” I moaned at my wolf in my head, she just laughed at
Freya RoseI ran back onto the bus and slumped into my seat, turning my body to face the window, so that I could carry on crying without being seen. I felt Mason sit down behind me, he put his hand on my shoulder. I knew he was only trying to comfort me, but I shrugged it off with an aggravated huff.“I'm so sorry Freya.”He spoke in such a kind and apologetic voice.“You have nothing to be sorry for Mason. I'm the one that just cheated. You didn't know,” I replied while closing my eyes and resting the side of my head on the seat.“I know but I'm sorry, nevertheless. I pushed it, when I should have been stronger. I behaved out of line, and I should have resisted you. I hate seeing you this upset.” He leaned in closer to whisper in my ear. “What we just did, felt so natural to me and it was the most amazing experience of my life. I just wish we
Freya RoseA white Hummer with blacked out windows pulled up behind the bus. It was blaring out music, and it was glitter and gold by Barns Courtney, the same song I had as my ring tone. I think I like this guy already, I thought to myself.“Come on, that's our ride, Fi,” Mason said to me as he stood up, while still managing to carry me somehow.“I can walk Mason,” I said with a giggle.“I don't want you to,” He replied firmly. He was more dominant in his tone this time and it was so hot. He carried me over to the Hummer, and a guy got out of the driver's side. I assumed it was Evan. He was similar to Mason, he had light brown hair, with green eyes and he was very handsome too. I'd say around the same sort of age as Mason, or maybe a little older.“Evan, Freya. Freya, Evan,” Mason introduced us.“Nice to meet you
Freya RoseMason quickly removed his hand from my jeans, and I scrambled to do them back up. I was pushing my back against the door, trying my best to keep Damien out.“Shit, shit, shit!” Mason whispered in a panic.“Quick, go out the window,” I said quietly while pointing to the open bathroom window.“You can't be serious?” He looked at me like I was crazy, as we both pushed harder against the door trying to keep Damien out.“You got any better ideas?” I asked him with one eyebrow raised. He shook his head while mouthing the words, one... two... three, then sprinted as fast as he could towards the window, before diving head-first out of it. I giggled and lost my grip on the door. Damien pushed against it again sending me flying across the bathroom floor and smashing into the bath panel.“Freya are you okay?
Freya RoseAfter sending Mason hurtling through the wall, it was no surprise to me that he had left all of a sudden and was completely avoiding me. I guess I'd hurt his macho pride or some shit, but I really didn't care by this point. I'd had quite enough of supernatural men suddenly deciding that I belonged to them. Like, I was some sort of damn object, or prize to be won. First Balan, the vampire who played games with my head, hurt the people I loved, and didn't even have the balls to face me himself. Then Mason telling me that I couldn't go home, and that was his, just because of some damn mystical angel connection. That I only found out about five freaking minutes ago, I might add.“I've had enough, I want to leave,” I shouted at Damien. He was standing right next to me just gawping at the giant hole that Mason's body had left in his wall. You could see right through into the living room,
Freya Rose“Freya?” I heard my mom calling me as she came into my room. She quickly closed the door behind her and whispered, “Shhh, honey it's okay. You need to calm down, nana and granddad can't see you like this, it will freak them out.”I brought my head down to look at her. She was acting so calm, why was she not screaming or telling me I'm a freak or something, anything?“You know what I am?” I asked her in confusion. She sat down silently on the bed next to me. I was finding it hard to accept that she wasn't afraid of me, looking like this. She began to speak calmly,“Yes, honey. See, when you were really little you used to have these rage fits. I tried everything to calm you down, but they escalated. Then one day your eyes changed, and a light shot out of them, and your mouth,” she said with a sigh.I couldn't believe what
Freya RoseIt had been nearly a week since Tristan woke up, and he was almost fully healed. The pack was still grieving the loss of Jessie, but life was gradually returning to some sort of normality. Landon, of course, wasn't doing too well at all. He had decided to take it upon himself to torture, I mean “question” the vampire that the pack had taken prisoner. I felt a bit sorry for the guy to be perfectly honest, I mean I hated vampires as much as the next supernatural being. They were parasites after all, but the guy seemed okay to me.I'd been into the basement a few times to ask him a few questions of my own. Mine were actually questions and not torture, and he'd always been more than happy to answer me. I guess he'd heard stories about what I was, and it scared the crap out of him. He told me anything and everything I needed to know. We had built up a weird sort of relationship. I wouldn't exac
Tristan ColeI'd gone over to Eleanor's to help her organize Freya's party. It took ages but we'd finally finished the party preparations, and it was clear that we both wanted Freya to have a great night. God knows she deserves it but, urgh, that was so damn tedious, I would have much preferred to pull out my own teeth. I said my goodbyes to Eleanor and headed home. I pulled up at my parent's house and got out of the car, then walked into the main house. As I walked through the living room my father called out to me from his office,“Tristan, can you come in here for a minute please?”Urgh, I’m not in the mood for him right now. I was still recovering, and spending the last few hours watching my brother break down into tears, then being bored to death with party preparations, had totally wiped it out of me. All I was in the mood for, was cuddling up to my beautiful girlfriend and having a nap.
Freya RoseMason had carried me back to bed, then to my surprise, he stripped down and got into the bed with me. I didn't know what to expect, but he was a gentleman and just held me for the rest of the night. I hated to admit it, but it was exactly what I'd needed. I cried for a lot of the night, while talking over and over about what had happened with Tristan over the past few weeks.Mason just laid there listening to me talk, and he let me get it all off of my chest. I was expecting him to bitch about Tristan and tell me I'd be better off with him, but he didn't. He just comforted me, and it felt so comfortable opening up to him. Although, I had left out the part about Tristan forcing himself on me. I knew that Mason wouldn't have even tried to understand that part. So, it wasn't even worth it, and I was too exhausted to argue about it. I finally fell asleep in his arms with him gently stroking my hair. I had a goo

Freya RoseI stood there in complete shock as I watched the love of my life beaming with happiness and love while he embraced his new mate. Tears began to stream heavily down my face as the realization hit me, that this was it, I'd lost him. He put her down and I looked out towards the crowd as they clapped and cheered for the happy couple. My eyes fell upon Cassie, and she was making her way up to me with such sadness and pity on her face. Tyler was following closely behind her with his head down. I scanned my eyes over the crowd and saw that Clara's face was shocked and confused, but Aiden pissed me off as a sarcastic grin spread across his face when his eyes met mine.I illuminated my eyes in anger, then Landon and Grace caught my eye, they looked devastated for me and Landon looked just as shocked as Clara. He then just shook his head in pure disbelief as he looked over towards Tristan. Cassie and Tyler arri
Freya RoseAfter our huge fight, I'd walked back to the pool house and cried myself to sleep. I woke up today and rolled over in bed, I slowly opened my eyes and I wasn't surprised to see the large empty space beside me. Tristan hadn’t come home last night, and I didn't blame him either. All night I played what we both said over and over again in my head, and every time I came out looking like a complete jerk. I'd basically emasculated the poor guy. I didn't really believe he was weak, well not as such. I knew he couldn't help that I was now stronger than him, but that was just because I'm a hunter, I'm naturally made to be stronger and faster than he is. I can't believe I just did, and said all of that to him, I wouldn't blame him if he never wanted to see me again. I reached for my phone and called Tyler.“Hey Ty, did Tristan sleep at yours last night?” I asked him in a low tone.“Yes,
Freya RoseNearly two weeks had passed since my party and I continued to ignore Tristan's persistent calls through our mind link. I couldn't face talking to him still. I had learned to tune him out, on the plus side I had also managed to work out how to keep Selene out of my head too. She didn't like it one little bit, she went on some rant about how it shouldn't be possible to keep her out of my thoughts, and that she didn't like the idea of me hiding things from her. I ignored her rantings and to be honest I'd been avoiding her as much as possible ever since the Samael incident. She kept going on and on, about how perfect we'd be together, and how our children would rule the world, and blah blah blah.I tried insisting to her that I had chosen Tristan, but every time I brought up his name, she just acted like I hadn't even spoken, and carried on telling me all the fantastic benefits there would be in my future
Tristan ColeI woke up in the werewolf clinic, I sat up and looked around the room. Tyler was the only one in the room with me, so I quickly asked him,“Where's Freya? Did Balan take her? What happened?” He opened his eyes and took his time stretching and yawning.“TYLER!” I snarled at him.“Ok, ok keep your hair on,” he replied with a huff. “Right, well, you sorta died, and then had to be resuscitated. Freya assumed you were dead for good, and Linda heard her mumbling something about her dreams coming true? Then Balan demanded she go with him to be his Princess, as he held her mother by the back of her neck, and threatened to kill her,” he rattled off and then took a long breath, which made him yawn again.“Tyler for God's sake! Does he have her or not?” I yelled at him. “Because if he does I'm gonna rip his fucking head off!
Freya RoseAs soon as I screamed Balan's name, all the wolves in the party began to growl.“Aiden has ordered us to get all of the humans out safely. I'm going to open up the fire escape doors and let them all out, will you be ok here?” Cassie asked, and I nodded in reply, then she quickly ran off. Seconds later the fire alarm was screeching, and the DJ was instructing everyone to leave via the fire exit to the right of the dance floor. People began to panic, they were screaming and shoving each other. The wolves did their best to keep it under control, but it was getting way out of hand.I made sure no humans were around me and illuminated my eyes, so that I could see the supernatural beings auras through my angel eyes. I remembered that wolves glowed blue and vampires glowed yellow. I slowly scanned around the room and spotted at least twenty vampires coming in through the main doors.
Freya RoseEverything soon calmed down once I'd kicked Damien and Evan out. We all were able to enjoy the lovely breakfast that had been prepared by my mom and Clara. We all then sat back down in the living room with our coffees. Bellies full and moods happy we all settled down and relaxed. Aiden fell asleep in the chair and Tristan wondered off somewhere with Tyler, so mom, Clara, Cassie and I, had a girly chat.‘Ring, ring... Ring, ring.’“Hey Tristan, where did you sneak off to?” I asked when I answered the phone.“I went to pick up your present, come to the front of the main house,” he said with excitement. I shot up and out of my seat and then ran to the front door.“Where are you off to?” My mom asked with an eyebrow raised.“Tristan just called, he's got my gift out the front, be quick if you're coming?” I
Freya RoseA few days had passed since I flew off ready to rip Amber a new one. Tristan kept mind linking me and I didn't have a clue how to turn it off. He kept insisting that it wasn't Amber that he'd sort of slept with. I didn't believe him, but his whining and begging were seriously getting on my nerves. I flew back home and threw Aiden, the Dr and Danny out of my house, and then had it out with Tristan. We talked all through the night and both apologized for our indiscretions. We agreed to call a truce, wipe the slate clean and start again. I couldn't take the moral high ground now and neither could he, it hurt a lot, but I now knew what he'd been through when I slept with Mason. We fell asleep in each other's arms just happy that we were both alive and together.I awoke to an empty bed again, this is becoming an unpleasant habit, I thought to myself. I heard the front door shut and then heard whispers. Oh my God
Freya RoseI sat up quickly as I awoke back in the real world.“Freya! Thank the goddess. You made it through the transition, we'd lost you there for a bit. It's a miracle,” the Dr said as she helped me sit up more comfortably in the bed.“Where's Tristan?” I asked in a low raspy voice. I was expecting him to be by my side when I woke up.“Um, he just popped out for some fresh air, I'll get Aiden to call him back,” she replied, but she sounded flustered. She left the room and I could hear whisper's down in the living room. I didn't know if I was strong enough yet, but I wanted to know what was going on. I got out of bed and I felt surprisingly fine, so I continued and walked to the top of the stairs to listen in. “She's asking where Tristan is, I told her he'd gone out for some fresh air. After what she's just been through, I didn't want to tell her that she'd di
