Chapter 5

EVE

“It probably start from a long time ago. Do you have any family history of cancer” The doctor ask.

“No we don’t but she do smoke and take drugs” My mother replied in an annoyed tone.

“I see. No wonder it grow more fast. You don’t have much time to live. At least two or three month. Please try to enjoy your time these two or three months. I am writing down some medicine please take these and try to visit us frequently.” The doctor says. I did many bad things but dying? I never thought about this. Is this how my life is going to end.

“I-isn't there any way to cure this?” I ask in a shaky voice. I do many bad things but I never wanted to die.

“No there isn’t sadly. Since its already in stage four. Sorry to say" The doctor says as he writes down some medicine on paper.

Then he handed us the prescription and after taking the medicine we drove back to home. When we go in the room my mom start saying

“Listen here very carefully I am not going to bear your medical expenses. I don’t know how are you going to pay your medical fees but I won’t pay it. You should be grateful that I am still letting a girl like you live in this home and not throwing you out. So you decide how you will pay your medical fees”

“What the heck are you saying you damn women?! You are responsible for taking care of me!!”

“But I never told you to take drugs and everything. So technically it’s not my fault.”

As she says this She leave the room. I have to earn money now? Damn it. But how should I earn money? I have to look for a part time job. Since I am going to die anyway I should now enjoy my life properly. I actually don’t care much if i die or what’s ever. That day at evening I found a art time cashier job at a super shop. They won’t pay me much but I hope I can cover the bills. When I was taking my leave from the shop I saw Aiden was in front of the shop waving me.

“ughh why it has to be him of all people” I think. When I got out he came to me.

“Hey Eve! It’s nice to see you here. Do you work here" Aiden ask me.

“Uh..yeah kinda I do" I replied him mumbling.

“You miss school today" He told me. Damn why is he this clingy.

“That’s none of your concern now fuck off" I said and then headed towards my home leaving me behind.

Next day when I am in the middle of a class i suddenly start thinking about dating . All the bad boys of this school, I already date them. Beside them no one would like me to date. Who can now date me only for two months. That’s when on person's name came in my mind

I recently broke up with my shitty ex. It is not like I was any better but still. I didn’t done any single things in my whole life. I always blame my mom for ignoring me all these years. And now that old bitch even don’t want to bear my medical expenses since I am going to die anyway. I want to start dating again. No not like I did in the past. A proper relationship I want for these two month and want to enjoying my life fullest. As I was thinking who will date me my eyes fall on Aiden's way. He is without a doubt is very handsome. And he is still new. So he probably don’t have that very bad impression of me. Should I ask him for dating me two months? Well I should give it a try.  So i waited for lunch break.

“Hey Aiden date me for two months or I will make your life hell" I threaten him. Damn it I should ask nicely.

“What did you just say?” Aiden ask me with a surprised look.

“Damn it I need to explain! Come with me!” I said a bit angrily and took his hand and bring him almost dragging him on the rooftop. All the student watches us in horror as we leave the classroom.

“W-wait isn’t it forbidden to come here?” Aiden ask me.

“You think I care about that?” I huffed and replied. What’s his problem? Haven’t he broke one single rule in his whole life? What he is ? A nerd?

“Okay anyway as I was saying I need you to date me for two months. We will act like a lovey dovey couple and physical contact is also allowed if you know what I mean" I said to him

“Well I don’t mind but why only for two months?” He ask me in a confusion.

When he ask me this I suddenly remember that I am going to die in two months. It makes a bit sad but anyway i shouldn’t make a sad expression.

“That is none of your business. You have to just date me for two months then we will part our ways. And we will act like we have never meet that’s all" I said again.

“Okay fine with me”he said and smirking a bit. Suddenly he pinned me on the wall as he put his two hand beside me.

“Since you said physical contact is allowed I hope you don’t mind  this..” He said as his face got close me. Then his lips intertwine with me as we start kissing. What? I mean I said physical contact is allowed but I never thought  it will be this early. Well I don’t mind anyway. As we start kissing he start kissing me more passionately like he was waiting for this moment. I put my hands behind his head as I kiss him back. Our tounge start playing with each others as we kiss. I never felt this good. He is a damn good kisser . After a few minute our lips parted away as we are out of breath.

“Well now should I call you darling?” He ask me with a smirk. I suddenly feel myself blushing.

“Oh you don’t like darling? Then how about babe or honey?” He ask me again. Teasing me probably. I quickly shook my head and replied –

“Just call me by my name! Don’t need to call me darling honey or babe! Understand?”

“Okay okay I was just joking Darling~” Damn it he said it again. Suddenly the bell ring telling us that the lunch break is over.

“Let’s head back to class before teacher find us here" Aiden say as he take my hands and intertwined with his as we go back to class. As we enter the classroom hand in hand everyone is staring at us with a surprised and worrying gaze. Then we take our seats and after a while the teacher came In. When the class ended almost all the students gather around Aiden.

“Hey Aiden why were you and Evelyn was holding hands?” One of the students ask him

“Don’t tell me that you two became friends!” Another one exclaimed.

“No we did not became friends.” Aiden replied.

“Oh that’s a relief but then why were you holding hands?”  The first students says in relief.

“Well we start dating that’s why?” Aiden said finally breaking the bomb.
