Alpha Leo’s POV

I took a sip of my drink while staring at my twin brother, Theo, who had been pacing around the room. His fists were clenched, and his jaws were tensed. He looked tense and worried, just as I should be, but I decided to drink mine away. “This is so frustrating,” he groaned and roughly ran his fingers through his neatly combed hair. I could see how frustrated and angry he seemed. Theo has always been the one who could not control his emotions, but I don't blame him for it.

“Take a chill pill,” I said, but he grunted and turned to look at me. I could see anger and frustration in his eyes as he held mine. “Why do you act like none of this bothers you?” he asked, but I only sighed and took a sip of my drink. Being worried won't solve a thing, so why should I be worried?

“We are 27 years old, Leonardo, and we haven't met or found our mate. Don't you think something is wrong, and we should worry about it?” he asked, but I only shrugged my shoulders and took a long sip of my drink before looking back at him. “I think the Moon Goddess has a plan for us, so why not sit and see what she has in store for us?” I suggested, but that only made him more furious and he flared up. “Can you listen to yourself, Leo? Do you think this is a game?” he asked, but I shrugged my shoulders and stood to my feet. I moved over to him, placed my two hands on his shoulders, and held his gaze.

“Stop being worried, bro. Heaven knows we've done our best in finding her. We've thrown a series of parties, balls, you name it, but we just can't find her. So why not sit and see what the goddess has in store for us?” I said, hoping my words would get through to him, but it only angered him more, and he took my hands off his shoulders. “If you don't want a mate, I want one,” he snapped before storming out.

A heavy sigh left my lips as I sank back onto the couch and picked up my glass of wine from the table. I took a sip of it and went into deep thought. The truth is that Theo isn't wrong for worrying about us not finding our mate. As Alphas and leaders of one of the biggest packs in the world, we were supposed to have a queen and a Luna, and not having one has already stirred up gossip around the pack. Even our gammas have suggested we pick someone and make her our mate, but Theo and I kicked against it. Unfortunately, time isn't on our side.

“Are you sure we have a mate?” I threw that question at my wolf, who had been quiet. “Everyone has a mate, including you and your brother,” he responded, but I only sighed and shook my head in disbelief. “If we truly have a mate, like you claim, then why can't we find her?” I questioned my wolf, frustration creeping into my voice. I was now getting worked up over the whole thing. I couldn't believe we had a mate because if we did, then why couldn't we find her? We threw a series of parties, traveled to different countries, and attended all the events we were invited to, even when we clearly didn't want to go, just so we could search for our mate. But all that was useless because we didn't find her.

“What if our mate is dead, and we never got to meet her?” I asked with uncertainty, as that was the only explanation I could come up with. “She is not dead,” my wolf spoke, sounding so sure of it, and that frustrated me even more. “Then why can't we find her?” I groaned and emptied my glass, then refilled it.

A knock on my door shifted my attention to the door. “Yes?” I asked. “Good afternoon, Alpha. Queen mother requests that you join her at the dining table,” a maid announced, causing a heavy sigh to leave my lips. I wished I could turn down the request, but that was my mother asking, and I can't say no to her for anything in the world. “I'll be there,” I told the maid, shifting my attention away from the door.

With a swig, I emptied my glass and took a deep breath before getting up on my feet. I made sure I composed myself before leaving my room because I didn't want Mother to notice anything was wrong; the old lady worries too much.

Instead of using the stairs, I used my teleporting abilities and teleported to the dining room, where I found Mother and Theo already seated.

“Mother,” I greeted and kissed her cheek before taking my seat, which was across from Theo. “So, Mother, you and Fathers flew back to California just to meet Austin's fiancée?” Theo spoke with displeasure in his voice.

“Of course, we want to see the woman who has finally captured the heart of your younger brother,” Mother spoke excitedly, while Theo and I rolled our eyes and looked away. “Your sister will be here soon,” Mom added, but Theo and I were not interested or excited to meet our younger brother's fiancée, who wasn't even his mate.

“When are they coming?” Mother asked, and we shrugged our shoulders, feeling reluctant. “The driver has already gone to pick them up, Mother,” Theo responded with a grunt. We were already growing annoyed and frustrated with how eager our mother was to see our younger brother and his supposed fiancée.

“You two don't seem happy to meet her,” Mother spoke, and we both rolled our eyes before I decided to speak. “There is nothing to be excited about, Mother. We are twenty-seven years old and haven't found our mate. There is nothing to be happy about,” I spoke out frustrated, while mother gave me a pitiful look. She knew the pain of us not finding our mate and since we had just become Alphas, we really wanted to have our mate with us.

“Where are Fathers?” Theo asked. “They will join us soon,” mother responded before dropping her spoon. “But we should be happy for your younger brother. He has found a girl he truly loves and wishes to marry her…”

“They are not mates, Mother,” Theo grumbled. “It doesn't matter,” she said. We scoffed and wanted to argue with her, but were cut off by our wolves. “Mate!” our wolves both howled excitedly, forcing Theo and me to our feet. “What is wrong?” Mother asked when she noticed our sudden behavior, but we didn't give her a response. Instead, we turned and followed the direction of our wolves, which were leading us outside the mansion.

As I hurried to meet my mate, my heart pounded in my chest, and my palms became sweaty. I was eager, nervous, and excited to see her. I have looked and searched for her for the past nine years and the thought of meeting her made me anxious but also excited.

Theo and I hurried outside the mansion, but when we reached outside the mansion, our steps ceased. Standing before us was a girl with long black hair. She had sea-blue eyes like Mother's, and her curvy body hugged the dress she wore perfectly. She was perfection. “Mine!” My wolf and Theo’s wolf howled in unison, and just as we were about to move closer to her, Austin, our younger brother, came out of the car and stood beside the girl. “Hello, big brothers," he greeted and wrapped his hand around the waist of the girl, causing my wolf to howl possessively.

“Greetings, brothers.” Austin greeted, but neither Theo nor I acknowledged his greetings; rather, our gaze was fixed on the girl, who happened to be our mate. “Olivia, these are my brothers, Alpha Theodora and Alpha Leonardo. They are Alphas of the biggest pack in California. Brothers, meet Olivia, my fiancée.”

Olivia's POV“Mates,” my wolf Lolita howled loudly in my head, sending a different type of sensation all over my body. With stunned and dumbfounded eyes, I stared at the two men before me, who also had their eyes on me. Just like me, they both looked shocked, and they weren't even trying to hide it. My breath seized, and my palms became sweaty as I tried to stop myself from taking a step towards them. Their scents of woods and mint brushed through my nose, and I felt my knees quivered as the intoxicating smell hit all my senses.“Greet them, baby,” Austin’s words pulled me back to reality, and I had to blink my eyes repeatedly before I took my gaze off them and looked at Austin, who seemed ignorant and had a smile on his face. “You have to bow before them,” he gestured, and I gulped before looking back at the two most handsome men I have ever seen in my life. Slowly, with my eyes interlocked with theirs, I took a step forward and then I bowed before lifting my gaze again to meet the

Alpha Theo's POV“This can't be happening,” I grunted as I continued pacing around the room, while Leo just stood at the window, lost in thought. “Claim her, she's our mate,” Douglas growled in my head, causing me to grit my teeth with anger. The thought of her being our mate was something I couldn't take. How could my younger brother's fiancée be our mate?“This is bad,” Leo murmured, and that made me move my attention towards him. He turned around and then he held my gaze with a worried and frustrated look on his face. We both stared at each other, but neither of us could say a word because we were so speechless. Leo left the window, and then he sat on the bed with a frustrated sigh. “What do we do?” He asked. “Claim her,” my wolf responded, and I sighed. “I don't know; we can't keep it a secret, Leo. She is our mate, and we can't let her end up with him,” I argued. But Leo was silent; he was probably thinking something, and I needed to know what he was thinking.“I think we should

Olivia's POVI was right when I suspected one of the alphas was about to say something, and I knew it would be a disaster if I let him do it. This was a plan I had made for years, and I wouldn't let anything prevent me from achieving my goal.“Let her speak,” the other alpha with green eyes spoke, and I faked a smile before clearing my throat. Actually, I had nothing to say, but I knew I had to come up with something.“Umm, I just want to thank everyone here at the table. It's a privilege to be seated with the famous Luciano family, and I'm also grateful for your warm welcome. Thank you very much,” I said and looked at one of the twins, who didn't seem pleased by my words. Obviously, he thought I was going to announce that I was their mate. Only if he knows what I have in store for them.“What do you think you are doing?” My wolf, Lolita, growled, but I paid no attention to her.“My dear, we are so happy to finally meet you. Or was it the mate bond doing its work?“Claim her, she is ours.” Max howled in my head, but I kept him at bay and looked at Theo, whose eyes hadn't left her.“I believe you are aware that we are your mates,” Theo spoke assertively, and I sighed, then looked at her. She seemed to be confused by Theo's words, which got my attention.“Sorry, Alpha, I don't know what you mean. What do you mean by me being your mate?” She asked, sounding ignorant, and I raised a brow at her.“Don't tell me you don't know that we are your mates,” I asked, and she seemed confused by my words. “I'm sorry; I think there is a mistake…” Before she could finish, Theo cut

Olivia's POVIt's past 1 am, and I couldn't sleep. I felt suffocated in my room, coupled with the fact that my wolf had been fighting with me. Due to the severe headache I had, I decided to go downstairs and get some water. I left my room and took the stairs to the living room. When I arrived there, I saw a few guards positioned at each end of the living room. I ignored them and made my way to the kitchen. When I arrived in the kitchen, I took out a bottle of water, and then I felt someone behind me. I turned and saw that it was Lady Catherine. She was dressed in her nightwear, and it seems, just like me, she came for water. “You couldn't sleep,” she asked, and I nodded while boiling with anger. “I also can't sleep, and there is no water in the fridge up in my room. It seems the servants forgot to fill up the fridge,” she said, and I hummed and watched her go over to the fridge. As she turned her back to me, I wished I could bring out my fangs and claws and kill her right at that mom

With burning rage, I watched them kiss. After a moment, they pulled away, and Olivia smirked at me, making me grit my teeth.“Brothers, you are here,” Austin said as he approached, his hand wrapped around Olivia's waist. “The house is full; it's just for mother and fathers to join us,” Austin said with laughter. Neither Leo nor I smiled, except Olivia. “So, what are you working on, baby?” he said to Olivia, who smiled at him.“I have to leave; I just got a signal,” I said. “Me too,” Leo lied. Austin looked at us with worry. “Is everything okay?” he asked, and Leo responded because I wasn't going to give a response.

Holding Alpha Theo's gaze, I could see he was fuming with anger, but I knew he wouldn't say a word; they were all scared of Austin's condition.“Really, that is great news. Congratulations,” Lady Catherine beamed at me. “Then we have to prepare for the wedding. Don't worry; I will get the best wedding planner in town,” she said, and I forced out a smile. If only she knew there wouldn't be any wedding because she wouldn't be alive to see it.“Are you sure about this, Austin? Marriage isn't something you should rush into,” one of their dads spoke, and I met his gaze. As we held each other's gaze, I sensed something suspicious, but I smiled and looked away. I wasn’t scared of Austin finding out; all I was worried about was my plan being stopped. “I know why you are here, brother. You are here to threaten Olivia to leave me just because we aren’t mates,” Austin said, and I looked at him.“If you have a problem, come to me and leave Olivia out of this.
