Olivia’s POV

After Leo left, I sighed and sat down on the bed, closing my eyes and taking a deep breath. I was feeling dizzy from everything that was going on.

I shook my head and crawled up the bed, aiming to lie down.

“Do you need anything?” Maya asked me, and I shook my head as I laid down, pulling the covers over myself.

“No, thank you. I don't need anything. Just leave me alone,” I said and faced away from her.

“Do they really expect me to stay in this room for nine months straight? I don't think I can do it,” I said to my wolf.

“I think they're doing it because the wound is still fresh and because you cause harm to yourself.

“I wished I died.” I murmured in tears. Everything was so exhausting and overwhelming, which I knew I wouldn’t be able to hold on anymore.

“Don’t lose hope, the alphas are just angry but believe me they will come around really soon. They love you and nothing can change that.” My wolf comforted, but somehow I wasn’t comforted by her words.

There wasn't really anything that could comfort me in the situation I was. There were too many factors stopping me from reaching happiness and being at peace, and it would remain that way for a while.I sighed, closing my eyes the tears soaking the pillowcase.I heard a knock on the door, but I didn't look back. Maya must have stood up to answer it because I heard the door open.“Good day, ma'am,” she greeted the person.“Good day,” the person greeted back, and I recognized her voice. It was lady Catherine. My eyes widened as I looked back to find that she really was there. I pushed myself up and faced her. I couldn't believe that she had actually come to see me. I thought she would kill me or have me sent out the first chance she got.I was feeling guilty, really guilty of what I did to her. I wouldn't even be angry if she wanted me out of the house because it was worth her almost getting killed by me. I wouldn't blame her at all.Lady Catherine stood there, watching me. Her eyes tha

Alpha Theo’s POVI stood there, watching Olivia look at me with am incredulous look. She stared at me like I had spoken in a language she didn't understand. “Take that spoon up and eat,” I repeated. There “I already said I wasn't hungry, and there's nothing you can do to change that,” she said and rested her back, folding her arms in front of her. I stared at her for a while. She seemed to think that I was bluffing when I said I'd shove the food down her throat. I moved closer to her, to reach for the spoon, when she immediately grabbed it before I could. She cleared her throat and glared at me before opening the covered food and gave me a dirty look. I stared back at her, my Stoic expression never changing. She opened the covered plate and slowly started scooping the food and pushing it into her mouth little at a time. She was eating so slowly and so little that I was sure it would take her at least one hour to finish the whole food. As she ate, her face was in a permanent win

  • Four Can Play A Game   Won’t heal myself

Alpha Leo’s POVI was seated in my study, trying to get some work done, but I knew that wasn't going to be possible. There were a lot of things going through my mind, so much that I couldn't even concentrate.I sighed as the thoughts in my head made the word on the paper I was looking at blur once more. I groaned and closed the file. I knew I wasn't going to get any work done, I'd just be wasting my time.I stood up from my chair and moved to the window, looking out of it. The situation at hand was getting out of hand, and if we didn't find a solution or a way to settle it soon, it would only get worse. As I stood there, my door opened and was banged closed. I frowned as I turned, wondering who had entered without knocking, and slammed my door shut. I turned around to see that it was Theo.He did not look happy at all. His eyebrows were furrowed, as he walked to sit on the couch in my study. He plopped down with a sigh and closed his eyes. I could already tell he wasn't in a good mood

Olivia’s POV Alpha Leo stared at me, a look of worry etched on his face. “Why are you refusing to heal yourself?” He asked, and I looked away from him. “You're pregnant, and you being sick could affect the baby in your womb,” “I already told you that I'm fine. I'm not sick, so there's no need to heal myself or anything,” “Your temperature is literally higher than normal, and you're sweating profusely, but you're still saying you're fine?” I didn't know what to tell him, so I just zoned out as he spoke, looking out the window. As he spoke, the door was pushed open, and Alpha Theo walked in. He looked between Alpha Leo and I, probably wondering what we were arguing about. “What’s going on?” He asked, and Alpha Leo sighed and pointed at me. “What happened to her?” Alpha Theo's eyes changed from confused to worried. “She’s having a fever and not only does she refuse to heal herself, she doesn't even want to admit that she's sick. She's literally sweating so much, but she's still

Alpha Leo’s POVAfter calming myself down by facing the wall, I looked back. I looked at Theo first, and his eyes held so much pain. He nudged his head towards Olivia, and I turned to look at her. She had her head down, and her back arched inwards. It seemed my words had gotten to her, and she wasn't taking it well. The little part of her face that I could see was looking very sad. I sighed and looked back at Theo, who just watched me with pursed lips. I really didn't want to say all of those things I said, but I was provoked and just blurted them out when I didn't mean to. What Olivia had said really got to me, and after the first sentence was out, there was no stopping me until I got everything I wanted to say out. Feeling the depressing atmosphere, I decided to leave, so I teleported out of her room and back to mine. When I got there, I plopped down unto my bed. “You really shouldn't have said that,” my wolf said. “I know, and now I regret it. I understand how she feels, she'

Olivia’s POVI sat down in my room, flipping through a book absentmindedly. I tossed and turned, trying to find a comfortable position, thinking it would help me concentrate, but that didn't help, nothing did.I had been in the room without going out for days, and I was feeling really restless. I knew I really needed to go out, or I might go mad.I put the book down on my lap and looked at Maya who was also reading a book. She was so engrossed in it I wished I had her level of concentration.“I can't do this anymore,” I huffed.“What do you mean?” She asked as she placed her book down.“I can't stay in this room any longer. I feel like I'll either go crazy or suffocate to death. Everything's making me restless,”“So what do you want to do?” She asked me.“I want to go out on a stroll,” I said, smiling as I stood up from the bed.Maya's eyes widened as she heard what I said. She placed the book on the table beside her and stood up.“My lady, you know we can't. The alphas' instructions

Olivia’s POVI stood there, listening to them argue. The fact that the issue has escalated to them arguing to that extent hurt me. It was all my fault they were arguing with each other like that. It hurt me to see them like that, going at each other's throats. A thought came, telling me to intervene, but I could never do that because that would only make the argument even more, and it could lead to an even bigger problem. I decided to step back and leave them alone. I didn't want to cause any more harm than I already have. I just slowly moved back, quietly returning to my room. Maya was waiting in for me when I got there. She looked at me with worried eyes as I closed the door behind me. “Is there a problem, my lady?” She asked me and I shook my head. “There's no problem, Maya. Everything's fine,” I knew from the sound of my voice, she could tell that there was a problem, but she didn't ask questions any further. After a few minutes, my door was flung open, and Father Darin wal

  • Four Can Play A Game   Missing

Alpha Theo’s POVThe next day, Leo and I were seated in the living room. We hardly got any sleep the night before. It was just filled with tossing and turning. We were making small talk when Maya, the maid looking after Olivia, ran into the living room, breathing hard and looking confused. “Alphas,” she greeted. “What is the problem? What are you running like that?” I asked her. “I can't find Lady Olivia. I fell asleep sometime at night, just to take and short nap, and when I woke up, she was nowhere to be found. I've searched everywhere, but there's no sign of her anywhere,” she said, I stood up, my eyes widened. “What?” Leo exclaimed. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. There was no way she could have left the mansion, I refused to believe it. “Did you search well? Are you sure you checked everywhere?” I asked her as I moved closer to her, and she nodded, her body shaking in fear. “Guards!” I called them. All the guards that were nearby answered to my call, all gathering

Olivia's POVI smiled at Austin, who returned a weak smile. It's obvious he still regretted what he did, but I hold no grudges against him.“Olivia,” Dora's voice got my attention, and I turned to look at her.“I understand why you did what you did. As a little girl, you were brainwashed and told a lie. Anyone could easily have done what you did, even me. So, should I blame you for it?” She smiled and moved closer to me.“I forgive you, Olivia, and I hope you forgive me.” She smiled and hugged me. With a tear dropping on my cheek, I hugged her back.“Thank you! Thank you for forgiving me,” I said amid tears.“You are welcome,” Dora said, and we pulled away. I wiped off the tears on my cheek, and my eyes met with Father Darwin's. He smiled and moved forward to me.“I was angry with you for trying to hurt my family, but just as Dora said, I understand why you tried doing it. You have been brainwashed, and anyone could easily be a victim…” He took a deep breath and smiled at me. “I have

I was confused at how he could go to such lengths just to prove a point.“How could you do such a thing?” I asked him. “We've been trying to make you understand this situation and see how Olivia has changed, but you remain adamant in your ways,”“There's nothing you're going to say that will make me change my mind, Theo. What's done is done. You might have avoided it today, but they will return tomorrow, and they're going to take Olivia whether you like it or not,” he said and I shook my head.“That will be over my dead body. You hear me, father? Over my dead body,” I said to him, and Leo and I left the living room, going upstairs to see Olivia. When we got there, she had been cleaned up and was still in bed with the babies in her arms. Alpha Leo’s POVI watched my father, a frown etched on my face. He stood there with determination in his eyes, and he didn't seem like anything would stop him from doing what he came here to do.“What is the meaning of what you're saying, father?” I asked him.“Exactly what you heard, Leo. The council of elder werewolves are already waiting downstairs for Olivia so that she can have her trial, and then judgement can finally be passed,”“What do you mean?” I asked him.I couldn't believe what I was hearing. It seems, immediately he had heard about Olivia's going into labor, he had summoned them all to wait until she had given birth.“Come down and see it for yourself if you don't believe me,” he said, a coy look on his face.“Father, what the hell is going on?” Theo asked as he came to stand beside me.“Follow me,” he said and gestured for us to follow him, and we did. When we got downstairs, we saw the council of elders werewolves sitting in the living room, waiting.“What the hell is

It worried me a lot, but there was nothing I could do but wait.My door opened and alpha Leo and Alpha Theo walked into the room. They both came to sit beside me on the bed. I looked at them expectantly, waiting for them to talk.“We still haven't been able to find her,” he said, and I sighed. “But since we were able to find her picture, we have posters of her face pasted everywhere, so I'm sure we'll find her in no time,” he encouraged and I nodded my head. After he said that, I sighed, wondering who could have sent her.“Who do you think would have sent her? I've searched my head, but I haven't found anyone that would be capable of doing that, at all,”“You don't have to worry about that, Olivia. Just focus on taking care of yourself and the babies, and we'll focus on that, okay?” alpha Theo asked.I nodded my head, deciding to listen to what he said.Alpha Theo then pla

Olivia’s POVI opened my eyes to blinding light above me. I squinted and waited for a while, to let my eyes get used to the lift before I fully open them. I looked around, and I was in an unfamiliar place that looked like a hospital. I frowned, wondering why I was there. Two nurses were in the room, and when they noticed that I had opened my eyes, one rushed to me, and the other seemed to be calling for the doctor. “Hello, miss Olivia, how do you feel?” she asked.“I feel fine,”“Are you feeling nauseous, or any pain or discomfort of any kind?” She asked and I shook my head.“I don't. I feel fine. What happened?” Inasked her.“Well, you were rushed here after you showed signs of being poisoned,” she told me, and that was when memories of what had happened came rushing in.I gasped as my hands immediately went to my stomach.“What about my babies? Are they fine?” I asked, my eyes wide.“Your babies are fine, ma'am. There's absolutely nothing wrong with them,” she replied, and I sigh

I arrived at the hospital and the nurses and doctors who saw us brought a stretcher and I placed Olivia on it. I watched them take her to the emergency room while Leo and I began pacing around with panic and worry.Soon, mother was teleported to the hospital by father Darwin. Mother rushed to us and asked us what was going on, but we had no idea about it. We were just confused.“This isn’t labor, it is not yet time.” Mother murmured, and I knew she was right. This was not labor so why was she in pain. Filled with fear and concern, we waited until the door of the emergency room opened, and the doctor walked in.“What happened?” “She was poisoned, but luckily, sh
