Third person's p.o.v

Daniel's words went unheard to Linda when she heard the sharp sound of the roaring car again. She understood that the driver wanted to run away so she immediately got up and mindlessly tried to stop it by chasing it but Daniel tugged her arm pulling her back.

He stopped her right there and went towards the car.

He tapped the car's window and threw a bunch of notes in the seat next to the driver.

Shockingly, Linda turned to look at Daniel. The eyes that held love and emotions a few days ago were now filled with coldness and bitterness. She instantly realised what she did. She let Daniel unfold the truth herself. She slowly lowered her eyes to the ground. She was cursing herself in her mind.

"Were you so desperate for vengeance?"

Daniel held Linda tightly by her shoulder and slightly shook her.

"I did not fake my blindness for revenge." Linda murmured.
