When we arrive at the party, it is already in full swing. This party was actually at JP and Nick's place. Lord, they had a huge home.

"Are you ready to do this?" I ask him. We have been sitting in his truck for the past 5 minutes.

"Can we start this another night? Can I at least get one more night in of crazy sex before I begin to be a good guy?"

"You have to choices. One, you put on your big boy pants and get this going tonight. Or two, we don't do this at all. So which would you prefer?"

He takes just a minute before he finally looks over at me and says, "Fine. Since multiple girls are already going to hate you for this, would you want to do something for me?"

"Depends on what that is." What in the world is this guy talking about.

"For tonight, can you at least pretend to be here with me?"

"But, I am here with you"

"No, I mean with me. Like can you pretend to be my date for the night?"

"Ugh, JP this was not part of the plan."

"Please, Olivia. I'll owe you big time."

You know what? This is actually a good idea. It helps me with my plan as well. This gives me an even better chance of teasing him and getting under his skin.

"Fine. But do not try any funny business with me. Understand?"

"Me? Funny business? Of course not. Thank you!" he opens his door and hops out running over to my side to open the door.

"I was wondering how long the two of you were going to sit there before you finally got out." I hear a deep voice say from behind JP.

Getting out I see Nick and Becca standing there.

"I see you forgave this dick, huh?" Nick laughs.

"He's on probation. Tonight will be the big test, to see if he is worthy of my friendship."

"How is Maggie going to handle this?"

JP groans from beside me and looks at me.

"Oh let's just say tonight is going to be interesting. Your boy here has to end things with her."

Nick begins laughing. "For a minute there, I thought you were serious."

"Nope. She's serious. Tonight Liv is my girl. Not like you are thinking, so do not look at me that way."

"Excuse me? Someone better do some explaining." Becca steps up to me.

"JP?" I look at him. This isn't my story to tell.

"Ok, so ... " He tells them everything that's going on and why we are doing what we are doing.

"Wow," Nick and Becca say at the same time.

" I never thought I'd see the day where JP would try to be a decent guy. Babe, you should have brought Olivia around sooner." Nick laughs.

"Har Har. Shut up, man. Come on Liv, let's get this night going. I know right time I walk in Maggie is going to come running. She is going to be pissed when she sees you again too."

"Good thing Liv can throw a punch." Nick bumps into JP as they walk ahead of Becca and me.

"You sure you want to do this?" Becca asks.

"Oh yeah, I'm positive. I am going to break that boy." I smile

"You keep saying that, I just hope you don't break yourself along the way. Just be careful." She gets out before we step foot in the house.

Nick and Becca go their own way, leaving JP and me standing there. JP reaches over intertwining our fingers. He looks down at me and smiles.

"Let's go get a drink" He pulls me through the crowd of people and into the kitchen. This all feels a little too familiar. Hopefully, a drink doesn't get spilled all down my dress again.

Getting into the kitchen I notice how many people are already wasted. JP didn't bother asking me what I wanted to drink this time. He grabbed a cup and filled it up with punch before passing it over to me.

"JP!"

Oh no, here she comes. It's like she has a radar on him to know when he's in the kitchen. I back up to get out of the way, but JP quickly grabs my hand and pulls me into him.

"Bitch, how many times do I have to tell you to stay away from my man?" Maggie came up trying to push me out of the way.

"Maggie stop it. Liv is here with me."

"What? What do you mean she is here with you?"

"We need to talk."

"Well let's go upstairs and we can do more than talking" I feel JP tighten his grip on my hand as she says that. He is fighting it so bad.

"No, I'll just say what I need to say right here. Maggie, you and I are done. I can't keep sleeping with you. Not if I want something real with someone."

"Are you kidding me? You and I could have something real. We are together every weekend."

"No, we can not. I am with Olivia now. Since I've met her, I have changed. I don't want to be all about this party life anymore."

"What the fuck JP? How can you drop me for someone like her? Look at her, she's fat and ugly. She won't even take up for herself. She just stands there while everyone talks about her. Why would you want something like that?"

As she finishes her sentence, I try letting go of JP's hand and stepping forward to get in her face but he stops me. I look up at him to him shaking his head. "She isn't worth it."

"There is nothing wrong with Olivia, Maggie. She is beautiful and just the right size for my liking. And believe me when I say if I didn't just pull her back, your ass would be on the floor knocked the fuck out. She can throw a punch. If I were you I would just get it through your head that you and I are done, for good. And just walk away."

Maggie didn't know what to say. She looked at me, then at JP, then back at me again before spinning around and stomping off.

Putting my drink down I throw my arms around JP's neck, I noticed that Maggie had stopped across the room to look back at us. "If you want to make it look real, you better lean down and kiss me right now. She's looking this way."

JP didn't even hesitate, putting his beer to the side, he puts both of his hands on my hips running them down to my ass. I was going to kill him for that. He leans down and smiles before his lips crash into mine. At first, it was a slow and innocent kiss but then he sucked my bottom lip into his mouth causing a moan to escape me. Oh no. My body is betraying me. I'm not supposed to be enjoying this kiss. I quickly put my hands on his torso and push him away from me. Not forcefully but just enough to get him to back off a little. He was getting a little too into this as well. "Stop"

"I'm sorry. That was a little too much."

"It's ok. You are one hell of a kisser. I give you that much. No wonder girls are crazy about you."

"You are too, no doubt."

"That was one hell of a show you too put on." Becca comes up behind me with Nick tagging along.

"Yea, I didn't think the two of you would ever break that kiss. Good thing Olivia has a little more control than you do" Nick throws in.

"Whatever man, I was going to break it eventually. I'm still a guy, I was enjoying the moment."

We all laugh.

"Well, I am about ready to get out of here honestly. JP you are more than welcome to stay if you'd like. You did good. I'm proud of you."

"Thank you but I'll take you home. I'm not feeling this party too much. Nick, will you be ok to hold it down?"

"Yeah, man. I'm good. I got Becca here with me too."

I walk over to my friend to hug her goodbye. "I'll see you tomorrow at some point."

"Bye Nick"

"Bye Liv."

Tonight went a whole lot better than I thought it would. I am actually very proud of JP. We will just have to see how the rest of this training goes. Plus he still has 3 more girls to dump.
