“I’ll help you with that” Aaron’s voice echoes, stopping her on her track
“Sure” she retorts. As she hears his chair squeak, she knows he has gotten up and is following herThe preparation for desert is done in silence. Cassie moves around putting pies in the different plates, while Aaron just stands by the dishwasher watching her, taking in her every movement, enjoying how her muscles tense up each time their eyes meet or she was in close proximity to him. It was a sight to see and he enjoyed every bit of it.“You didn’t look happy about the fact my brother and I are moving into town” Aaron remarks, slowly tucking a loose portion of her hair behind her ear, making sure both their skins grazed each otherCassie feels like jumping in the pool behind the house, her heart is beating faster, it is like she is definitely about to burn the house down with the heat of the moment“Thanks…” she says moving away from him. She picks up the plates and hands them over to Aaron to help carry, considering he was actually there to help“…And it was just a surprise that you two were moving here. There’s nothing about being happy or not, I’m just indifferent about it, that’s all”. For a split moment there is an awkward silence as she desperately tries to hide her embarrassment. She coughs out lightly as they walk back to the dining, knowing that Aaron’s eyes had remained fixated on her all along. They all dig into the dessert whilst talking and catching up on different random stuff. Cassie still can’t completely control the heat building between her legs, but she manages to stop thinking about it as she is distracted by casual conversations with everyone at the table.Time fly’s past and its nearly midnight before Aaron has a glance at his watch and they all realize. Mr. Adam and Alexander decide to retire for the night, leaving the boys to help Cassie clear the dishes. Being alone with them was something she had to begin to get used to, but damn it was near impossible to be okay with.Alex turns his attention to the plates in the sink, while Aaron and Cassie clear the table, but each time she entered the kitchen to drop off plates at the sink, she would let herself get lost in her thoughts as she stared at Alex’s arms. With his sleeves folded neatly as if they were deliberately made that way, how his veins popped out as if they were rebelling against his flesh, how his hands moved so gently, a part of her wished she was the plates, and each time the thought crossed her mind, she would realize how far she had fallen. Then back with Aaron, she could not be certain if he was purposely flirting with her or just being nice. How he would come close to her each time, not close enough for a true physical contact, but close enough for wave sending gazes. She liked it, she wanted more, so much more. How could she be drooling over Alex, wishing she was each plate he washed, and dying to have Aaron touch her in the same breath? She needed this night to be over. She would hit up Jason, her no-strings-attached fuck buddy, first thing in the morning. She was certain that with one good fuck, which Jason was always certain to deliver, all these thoughts about her step brothers would vanish. But first she needed to survive this night. They are finally done doing the dishes and clearing up when Aaron asks Cassie if they could watch tv. Trying to avoid any more awkward stare moments, she suggests they all just talked without their parents hovering around them, so doing it over crime documentaries wasn’t totally a bad idea. They settled in and chatted about basic stuff; work, friends, hobbies, relationship, dreams and childhood storiesThe tension in the air had somehow vanished while they talked and got to know each other. Cassie enjoyed how Aaron and Alex listened to her each time she brought up a conversation, even when she realized she had totally derailed and was mumbling on about her new book she was working on. She loved how Alex would always remind her of the last thing she said when she suddenly stopped mid conversation, and Aaron would urge her to continue.“So, why aren’t you two seeing anyone?” Cassie asks as the silence began to take over. It wasn’t awkward or weird, she just wanted to know“We never said we weren’t seeing anyone” Alex interjects with a raised brow“But you said weren’t in a relationship” Cassie defends“Yes?”“So, you’re seeing someone but not in a relationship? The both of you?” Cassie asked, now interested, and a little rather confused“Yes, you get it now” Aaron says nodding his head in agreement“That doesn’t make sense, I think. But why though?” she asks, now turning to the boys fully, giving them her undivided attention which they seem to fancy.“I guess we’ve always had something missing” Alex says, his hands still folded across his chest, his eyes fixated on her like he wanted more to do with her in this very moment, than just have a conversation about his relationship status.Cassie wonders why each one could conveniently speak for the other even when she asked direct questions and how they could be experiencing the same feeling or going through the same thing. It didn’t make much sense and all she could get out of it was that the boys were extremely close“What’s that?” Cassie asks with curiosity“We didn’t know for a while, but...” Alex starts to tell, but stops halfway like he is being remotely controlled“But what?”“We know now” Aaron helps him complete the sentence as both men keep their gaze on her like a prey fixated on its meal. If one didn’t know better, one could think they were both talking about her, the way they stared at her.“Well good for you. I’m off to bed, tomorrow’s a long day for me” Cassie says getting up and stretching same time.“Our room?” Aaron asks“Oh yeah! Last room on your right, mine is just before yours, so no noise making alright? I really my love sleep” Cassie warns with a pout before saying a good night and heading upstairs.“This would be harder than we imagined” Alex tells Aaron, turning to him with the softest eye’s one could have. His aura shifting from cold to vulnerable in a matter of seconds was magnificent, like a grown man who just turned into a child in a blink of an eye.Aaron turns to him with a look of reassurance, and places his palms on the back of Alex’s hand. He exhales silently before breaking into a warm smile“I know. Let’s distract ourselves with work, then address this when the time is right. Sounds good?”“right” Alex replies with a sigh of relief“Awesome. Let’s head up” Aarons says before the two get up, put off the tv and head up the stairs. It had been a pretty long day and they anticipated even longer days aheadIt is now almost noon and Cassie’s mobile phone is buzzing non-stop. She usually wasn’t used to being in bed this long on weekdays such as this. However, staying up to chat with the boys had completely worn her out. She had also got up just after 6 in the morning to make an omelet for her dad and Alexander. Her dad had informed her that he and Alexander had plans to go into town for a brief shopping later that day. He also reminded her make available a set of spare keys for the boys She had made some coffee and toast and served her dad with his favorite mug. She was sure that the boys had woken up from the noises she heard from their room whilst she was coming downstairs, so she hurriedly left breakfast on the dining table for them and returned to her roomShe blurts out every curse word she has learnt over the years, shaking her feet angrily underneath the duvet. She entertains the thought that it may be a life and death situation that was making Brandon call her by this time. She
“Cassie” Alex and Aaron say in unison, before a smirk forms on Aarons lips and the usual cold stern look takes over Alex’s face concealing his initial look of excitement. Both men run their eyes over her body. “What are you two doing here?” Cassie asks them, totally forgetting the reason she was here, for a moment “Work Cassie, work” Alex declares, stating the obvious. “Hello” Mr. Park says, bringing the three out of the awkward silence that was lingering. Cassie had to deal with the reason she came here first and then ask all the questions she needed to ask later, right now, she had to hand over these papers to Mr. Park. She had to bring back her A game “Hi Mr. Park, my name is Cassie Adams, I’m so sorry for the invasion” Cassie spills, making him nod with a smile as he walks out of the elevator, helping Cassie take her attention off the men and focusing it on him “Nice to meet you Cassie, to what do I owe this pleasurable visit?” he asks Mr. Park was a short, robust pot-bellie
The ride up is silent and almost uncomfortable, Cassie keeps staring at each floor button light up, waiting for the doors to open up. She’s grateful for what Alex and Aaron have done, yes it came as a surprise, a really out of this world surprise and it was like all her dreams were finally falling into place She knew they had just played major roles in letting that happen, yet, she didn’t know how to appreciate them appropriately in words. How was she supposed to start? What was she to say? She already felt the awkwardness strangulating the air in the elevator with them They had just become a part of her life yesterday and they were already doing so much, it was insane, but she loved every bit of it. Before she could distract herself with some other random thought, the elevator doors slid open “This way” Aaron tells her, gesturing to the direction of what she recalled, used to be the boss’s office Cassie spent most of her days in Brandon’s work place, every free time she got, she
Cassie sat at the back seat of the car, staring blankly at mostly nothing but greenery. Alex was behind the wheel and they were somewhere on the outskirts of town now, in-between forests; mostly just trees. Cassie liked the serenity around the location as there were hardly any cars plying the route, which made the drive now super quiet and lonely, but for their occasional chatter. She loved the trees that filled the area, perfectly lined up, like they had been deliberately planted in that manner. Cassie wasn’t familiar with the collection of French contemporary artists of the millennium, but for some weird reason, she enjoyed this particular album by Jane Fostin. She wished she had taken her French classes more seriously, maybe she would have known what the song was about. But all of that didn’t stop her from enjoying the sweet soothing melody that blasted from the radio.“Why aren’t you worried? We could be kidnapping you; you know?” Aaron says, instantly getting Cassie’s attentio
There was a parting within the crowd on the dance floor, through which Cassie weaves her way, instantly dancing faster to the loud music. She throws her head backwards and balances her hand on her hips. She can suddenly perceive the strong smell of the joint and a presence around her, so she opens her eyes to see Alex standing in front of her. She smiles at him, takes the joint from him, puffs it, passes it back and eases back into her dancing, this time aware that Alex is just beside her. She could feel him close to her and she liked how he wasn’t going anywhere. She feels his muscular hands snap around her waist, and she tilts her head as he pulls her towards himself. He grabs her hands as she spins around letting go while he does a moonwalk. He looked like he too was enjoying the loud music. Cassie turns around, giving him her back and letting his both hands find their way around her waist as she begins a slow wind. She spins around again and looks across to where they were sit
Cassie cannot stop thinking about their impending trip to Korea and her chance to finally convince Mr. Parks to publish her bestseller. She had been preparing for this opportunity and all she needed to do now was get over the line; whatever it took. There was still a little over forty- eight hours before they were scheduled to depart but she was already feeling a little anxious. She had dedicated time specially to go over the work again, making sure every chapter was near perfect. This was a once in a life time opportunity and she wanted to make it count. These past few days, she had hardly spent time with the boys, as most of the time they would have left for work before she found the time to come downstairs and by the time they got back, she was already either tucked in bed or too engrossed in her editing.Alex and Aaron had been preoccupied with meetings all week long. They were introduced to the staff; including Brandon and Mr. Cho whom they recalled from the day Cassie had s
Cassie had done her final packing arrangements and had gotten off the phone with Brandon, who was trying to help her feel a bit more relaxed, not like it had worked though. She had not managed to get any quality sleep all night, so she finally gave up trying and had gotten out of bed by five. She was excited and anxious about the trip because she had never been to Korea all her life. It was one of her favorite places, considering how addicted she was to Korean drama. Traveling had never really been a thing she did often; between raising her and work, her dad never really got the chance to take her on travel vacations. She did what she could to at least see a handful of places and she often wondered if it was because she was a writer that made traveling so poetic for her, but she loved the mere thought of new people, new cultures, new beliefs and everything that came with vising a new place. Here she was, going to one of her dream countries to fulfill one of her greatest dream; h
Cassie had been asleep for a while now, she had woken up a few times to use the rest, eat and have a little chat with the boys. She had gradually fallen asleep again when Aaron informed her that they were just less than two hours away from Seoul. The guys were used to flying and both of them were wide awake, Alex had been engrossed in the Call of duty he was playing on his tablet while Aaron scribbled translations from a foreign language which he was currently pursuing knowledge in. Aaron was now helping himself to a couple of shots of Jack DanielsCassie wakes up slowly to the feeling of someone’s hand on hers. She realizes and quickly shuts her eyes, as she hears whispers beside her, turning a little, like she is trying to settle in a bit more comfortably, in such a way that she could listen into the conversation more. A part of her felt bad, but she was just curious to know what the boys talked about when she wasn’t around. She finally made out the voice beside her and it was A
Before anyone, could say, Jack, the two found themselves half-naked on her bed. Alex’s shirt was somewhere on the floor, while Cassie’s shorts somehow found their way under her pillow. Unlike Aaron who enjoyed teasing her, which she loved, Alex didn’t tease, he didn’t have the patience to, he wanted her more every second their skin stayed glued together.Alex had gently pushed her, her body now comfortably resting on her bed, as he laid down on top of her. A rush of desire hits Cassie as she feels Alex’s teeth bite her lower lip. Alex deepens the kiss, his mouth hard against her, stopping Cassie’s flow of air, which of course she didn’t mind, she just wanted all of him, all the way to the very end.Alex pressed his lower body against Cassie, making sure she could feel what she was doing to him. Cassie spread her legs wide open, giving herself more room to feel the bulge in his shorts, she wanted to feel him inside her, she was
“So that’s a yes?” Aaron asks, looking more surprised than excited“Wasn’t that the answer you hoped for?” Cassie asks with a smile“Yes it was, but I thought it’ll be harder convincing you” Aaron replies“Well, a job sounds like a great idea, sitting at home will get boring and I’m curious,” Cassie tells them“About what little one?” Alex enquires, folding his arms“What it be like being with you two all day long and also knowing about you two” Cassie replies with a shrug, like it was an obvious answer“Oh I see,” Aaron says, a smirk finding its way to his lips“Can’t get enough of us then” Aaron adds, now trying to tease“Says the guy begging me to work with him” Cassie replies with a smile, knowing she had given him a taste of his own medicine“You’ll be the one begging
Aaron’s mouth moves to Cassie’s other breast, sending pure desire to her core. Cassie pulled him closer to her, making sure he could feel her completely, so he would see what he was doing to her and how much she needed him. Cassie finally removed her top, now looking at Aaron whose mouth was busy on her hardened nipple. She watches as he moves from her breast to her belly. Placing kisses softly and gently, not stopping till his kisses reached her waist. His actions made her arch and release a moan, Aaron looked up at her a smirked, knowing exactly what stopping would do to her.Cassie enjoyed it, she didn’t want him to stop, and she shivered at the intensity his lips could bring to her body. Yet, she thought of Alex, she wanted to kiss him while Aaron’s lips devoured her underneath. How did her head have enough room to sexually think of two men at the same time?Cassie watches as Aaron smirks at her and before her brain can process anothe
Cassie woke up really early, somehow she couldn’t get a shut eye, the events of the night before kept playing in her head so much that they found their way into her dreams. She got up really slowly, making sure not to wake either men. Aaron’s large hand were wrapped around both her and Alex, making Cassie smile as she tried to wiggle herself out of their embrace. After getting up, she stares at the two men as they lay beautifully on her bed, asleep with no worry in the world, they looked very peaceful as they slept.Cassie tiptoes out of the room, slowly closing her door, making sure not to make a sound. After successfully closing her door, she takes a deep breath, almost like she had stopped breathing. She still couldn’t wrap her head round what she had found herself in, but instead of over thinking it, she head downstairs to make breakfast. After making some toast and eggs, Cassie sits at the dining, trying to figure out what to do or even say around the boys. Why was she even over
For a split second, Cassie is shocked seeing him there, but something about the way he watched them, turned her on even more. He looked like he was enjoying the sight; the bulge in his pants confirmed it. Cassie bent her head, giving Aaron more room to nibble on her neck while his fingers begins to find their way to her already hard nipplesThe battle between wanting to close her eyes and feel everything Aaron was doing to her body and keep her eyes opened to watch Alex lust over them was second to none. The moment was euphoric and Cassie wondered if maybe she had slept off and all this was a dream“Come here” Cassie whispers, loud enough for both boys to hear. Making Aaron stop and turn to who Cassie’s eyes were fixed on. Alex stands in his spot for a few more seconds before slowly moving toward the bed.“Locked up?” Aaron asks him“Yes, everything’s fine” He replies“We missed you” Cassie tells Alex, looking at him, stretching her hand towards him for him to grab, which he doesAaro
“How full was your bladder?” Aaron jokes as Cassie gets into the car“Let’s go” Cassie says, trying her best to hold back the tears“What happened?” Alex asks, turning to face her. With his tone, Cassie knew there was no hiding her tears or how shaken she was, but she couldn’t let the boys go back in there and she didn’t want to see Jason and she knew he’d be too worried not to come find her, she just needed to leave“Nothing happened. Please let’s go home” Cassie pleads, now turning to look at Alex, her eyes now red still filled with tears“What fucking happened in there Cassie?” Alex shouts from the back seat, already seeing redHe had never seen her cry or shiver in fear the way she was doing right now, he hated it, he wanted to put an end to whatever or whoever made her feel like this. Alex has always been the cool headed one when it came to things like these, but seeing her like this, he couldn’t just help it.“Nothing happened, please let’s go. Tell him to drive Aaron” Cassie tu
Two weeks had gone by in a blink of an eye, it was barely a week to Christmas and the cold had gotten so much worse. The house felt emptier without Mr. Adams and Alexander, though Cassie spoke to them every day, it wasn’t like having them at around. The boys had been so busy with the launch, but Cassie couldn’t help the sickly feeling that they were avoiding her since the incident with AlexEven Brandon had been coming over more often, trying to keep her company and listen to her new ideas for her new book. Brandon did tell her that Alex and Aaron had been on the edge lately, trying to perfect the launch and everybody had been on their best behavior around them.Cassie could not relate, she had barely seen them nor had an actual conversation with them. They would leave before she got up and would come back home way after she had gone to bed. The first two times she slept off in the living waiting for them, they didn’t even come home, so she gave up on waiting. She just couldn’t wait f
“This wasn’t the type of apology I envisioned’ Aaron teases, making Cassie even more embarrassed, she begged the ground to open wide for her to fall inside, but nothing“I’ll be in my room” Cassie announces, regretting it immediately, realizing that sounded more like an invitation than an excuse to be away from that place“Welcome home Aaron” she adds as she passes him“I don’t want to hear it” Alex says, facing the micro wave, holding back the urge to follow Cassie to her bedroom“Nothing to say love” Aaron replies with a chuckle“Will you handle what’s in your pants or you’ll eat first?” Alex asks with a smile, looking at him“You can handle that for me, considering you need the distraction” Aaron says in a flirty manner, making Alex laughAfter ease dropping on their conversation, Cassie tiptoes back to her room as quickly as possible, with a smile plastered across her face and her cheeks burning red. Cassie closes her door immediately and falls on her bed, her mind filled with a m
“I’ll be in my room if you need me” Alex tells Cassie immediately they get into the house“Alright” Cassie replies, not knowing exactly to say to him, he had not said a single word to her since they left the office“Good” he says as he walks towards the stairs, not even looking at herCassie exhales as she watches him disappear into the house, she walks into the kitchen to warm up something to eat, but stops just at the dining when her phone begins to ring, and it was Brandon.“Hey” Cassie says into the phone“Hey? Why aren’t you screaming your lungs out?” Brandon says on the other side of the phone“Screaming?” Cassie asks, trying to give him her full attention“You’re finally done with it all, aren’t you?” Brandon asksCassie could imagine him raising his eyebrows and at the same time worried that she was going to deliver some bad news, it made her smile a little, knowing how well she could predict his every movement and thought“I am” Cassie tells him, feeling a rush of pride immed
