Chapter 1 It's Here!

It's been a year since we first met King Abatrose, and I have given birth to my babies Abigail and Oliver, Niklaus has been by my side helping in every way he can, He is such a loving father and devoted mate to me. They are my world.

As I cradle my precious newborns, close to my heart, I'm overwhelmed with joy and wonder. Niklaus, my loving mate, stands beside me, his eyes shining with adoration as he gazes at our little miracles. With Lucas expertly managing the Delacroix Island Resort, Niklaus is free to revel in his new role as a devoted and hands-on father. Aunt Aurora showers her love and affection to her niece and nephew, enveloping us all in a warm and cozy embrace. Our little family is bathed in happiness and love, surrounded by the magic of this special moment.

Sam walks in with a huge smile on his face, "What happened?" I asked excited to hear the news. "I finally found her!" he said, his eyes shining with excitement.

"I tracked her down and made an appointment for Storm, just so we could talk to her." He took a deep breath, still beaming with pride. We all sat down to hear what happened, eager to know more. "We pretended to be new patients, and Dr. Brooks didn't even recognize us! She's doing well, She has a small office, simply called 'Hybrid Care', and she still caters to only non-human patients,"  Sophia smiled, cradling little Storm in her arms, clearly relieved and happy with the outcome. We all leaned in, to hear the rest..

"Now That I found her, we can keep an eye on her and make sure 'The Order' doesn't bother her. And from what we saw, she's out of their range of interest, which keeps her safe."

"That's incredible news, Sam!" My eyes welled up with tears. I had missed Dr. Brooks terribly, and the memory of our painful goodbye still lingered, I was sad that Niklaus had to compel her to forget us to save her life. Our abilities to see into the future had revealed that 'The Order had found out about her connection to us and the Atlantians and had taken her prisoner and was torturing her to death. To prevent this from happening, we made the decision to distance her from us to keep her safe, but she would never leave us willingly, so with tears in our eyes  Niklaus compelled her to forget us, go, and be happy.

Though she had forgotten us, we would never forget her. Dr. Brooks had saved us countless times, and her expertise had been invaluable to our team. She taught our Al 'Neptune' everything she knew before leaving with her memory of us wiped clean, a sacrifice we would never forget.

Niklaus and I exchanged a warm smile, our hearts overflowing with joy at the good news. Meanwhile, little Storm was taking brave steps, holding onto Sam's hand for support. Sam scooped him up, and Storm giggled as he was lifted up to give tender kisses to the twins. Our little family was filled with so much love and affection, and it was moments like these that made our hearts overflow with happiness.

Neptune's electronic voice echoed through the air, "King Abatrose is approaching at top speed, 500 meters off our shores!

Niklaus and I exchanged a look of anticipation, I quickly settled the twins in their crib. Niklaus and I rushed to the shore to greet him. We watched with great pride as they emerged from the ocean, his powerful strokes propelling him forward with urgency.

"It's here!" he exclaimed, breathing heavily as he reached us. "Atlantis just appeared two hours ago. We swam around her, and she seemed intact, but the doors remained sealed, defying our attempts to unlock them."Atlantis has been warping in semi-random places since her last Queen submerged the ship back in 10,000 B.C. What secrets lay hidden within its ancient hull, we are not sure of.

As we gathered in the conference room, the weight of the ancient ship's secrets hung in the air. "The hibernation chambers hold immortals, potentially still alive," King Abatrose said, his eyes gleaming with excitement. "But only one with 100% Atlantian Royal Bloodline can unlock the doors."

Niklaus turned to Neptune his voice firm, "Neptune, scan Raven and my DNA for Atlantian percentages." The AI's response was swift: "Raven, 95%. Niklaus, 83%." I asked about Lucas, my heart pounding in my chest, and Neptune replied, "94%."

It was then that I asked the crucial question: "How long to reach 100%?" Neptune's response was precise: "8 months, 9 days, and 23 hours." The room fell silent, the countdown ticking in our minds like a timer on an ancient, extinction countdown.

"I wonder if we should enter the ship when Lucas and I reach 100%," I thought aloud, "or wait until all of us have achieved the maximum percentage." My mind raced with the possibilities. "We've all undergone the fusion, it's just a matter of time before our DNA reaches its peak... and we can utilize the chamber once more." My thoughts trailed off as I considered the risks and benefits. "Now that I'm no longer pregnant, the decision is even more pressing."
