The acrid stench of smoke fills my nostrils as I survey the smoldering ruins of what was once the Moonfire Pack's main hall. This is the third attack in as many days, each more devastating than the last. Beside me, Xander's jaw clenches, his eyes scanning the destruction for any clue we might have missed.
