Chapter 48: Echoes of Destiny

Lyra's POV

The ancient scroll crackles beneath my fingertips, its parchment brittle with age. As I unroll it, the air around me seems to thicken, charged with an energy that makes my skin tingle. The words before me, written in a script I shouldn't understand but somehow do, begin to glow with an ethereal light.

"In the twilight between realms, a child shall be born," I read aloud, my voice barely above a whisper. "Neither wholly of wolf nor Fae, but a bridge between worlds. In her hands, she shall hold the power to mend the great divide... or tear all asunder."

The prophecy continues, speaking of cosmic balance, of sacrifices and choices that will shape the fate of both realms. With each word, I feel a resonance deep within my core, as if every fiber of my being is responding to a call I've always known but never heard.

Suddenly, the world around me blurs and shifts. I'm no longer in the dusty archives of the pack house, but standing in a grand, ethereal chamber. My body feels differ
