Myra's pov. It is said that happiness can confuse us at times. When we are happy, we tend to forget all the terrible possibilities that life can throw our way. Even if we knew when and how something terrible was to happen to us , we would still be reluctant to accept it. Take my case for example, after experiencing the joy of having a mate for a few weeks, i have already forgotten how cruel life has been to me till now. Well, at least my ill fate showed up again. This is what happened. This morning Beta Ryan reported suspicious activity at the border . As expected Xavier went to check it. Turns out it was just a trap. By the time he and the other warriors got to the border, the rogues had already made their way to the park house. I am happy that no one died even though a few pack members got hurt. Somehow i ended up in the hands of the rogues. We are currently on our way somewhere. I don't know where though. I have tried mindlinking any of the pack members but its impossible due to
Third persons pov. Xavier paced up and down his large office, trying to think of a solution to his missing mate. This had been exactly what he ahd been afraid of. He had known, somehow, that having a mate wasn't the most sane idea ever. He was a powerful alpha yes, but having a mate would mean having to worry about the councill taking her, and now just that had happened. He found himself feeling desperate. No no, that just couldn't be. There was no such thing as desperation in his vocabulary. Still he craved her presence. wanted her more by every passing minute. Absence doesn't always make the heart grow fonder, if he still had doubts about being with her, they would surface. Only, how could they surface when his whole being had been overtaken by her? He couldn't think of anything else but Myra. Her blue eyes that seemed to shine whenever she was happy and her playfullness. Even her talkativeness was something he missed at that time. "Lets go Beta Ryan". Xavier commmanded. "What d
Xavier growled as he fixed is eyes on the building before him. The council building. He could tell they had been waiting for him from the number of soldiers that were outside. They definitely were prepared, but that didn't matter. He was veven more prepared. He let his eyes skim over the soldiers who were each in their battle position, planning his next move. "Beta, you and the warriors take out these soldiers. I will go get my mate" Xavier ordered. "You can't go alone alpha. Take some of the soldiers with you" Ryan reasoned. "You seem to have forgotten who I am" Xavier said with a smirk, his demeaner changing and just like that Ryan understood that the vamprire had taken over. Xavier made his way into the building, tearing from linm to limb any soldier he came across. He could scent his mate she was probably looked in one side of the building judging by how concentrated her scent was on one side. He followed her scent untilll he came to a cetain steel door. He was about to tear i
Myra stretched luxuriously in Xaviers bed, she opened her eyes slowly and came face to face with her mate. Something had changed, she could feel it she just didn't know what. The feeling was undescernible and overwhelming at the same time. "Hi" she said and mentally slapped herself. How embarrassing. "Hi baby" he answered her, moving to stand infront of her seated figure. "I had a dream where I was kidnapped and you came to save me and you had these beautiful red eyes.and I.." "Beautiful red yes huh...." He teased moving his face in front of hers. "Very beautiful" she said blushing. "You are the first person to ever call me beautiful." He dragged her flush against him by her wrist and she moaned rather loudly when their body touched. He gave her that teasing look and she looked away embarassed. "I am sorry, I don't know what's wrong with me today. I feel..." she trailed. "What do you feel?" He said. Her knees almost gave out when he trailed kisses along her neck. He noticed
Days had gone by since Xavier and Myra had had any private moment. It was demanding, she learned, to be a luna. When the day was over, she would go back to their room but he was rarely ever there. After the attack on the pack, he had become more vigilant. He made sure he personally patrolled the borders each night. That was until he made sure there was no more threat. That would all change today. She thought. She missed him, she admitted to herself. It had been hard having him so close and yet so far. She would prepare for his return, she decided. She made her way to the bathroom, for a shower. After that she decided to pick out something appropriate for the night. She looked at her closet for a while before settling on a red lingerie. It was so bright and so revealing. A recipe for seduction.Would he like it? she wondered. She was in the middle of overthinking when he walked in.Panicked, she quickly put on a robe over the lingerie and hid behind the door.Nice move, Myra. She mo
Myra felt like she was plummeting into an eternal void, it was Xavier's hands on her body that kept her from doing so.His mouth on her was so insistent, his hands wandering. He was doing things to her. Things she didn't want to think about as she laid in bed with him steeped in hot pleasure. She was beyond lost.Did she moan or had he? Did he profess his love for her or was it all a figment of her imagination. She wondered. All that she would think of later. She would enjoy, their time together, she decided. "You are driving me crazy" he whispered even as he eased a finger inside her, followed by a second one.He was gentle in his movements despite the fire in his voice and the passion in his caress. He wanted her to feel the pleasure as him, the same desperation. And when he had taken her to the peak, he knew she was ready for it.He eased inside her, slowly to let her adjust to him. He would bank down on his needs. Suppress them untill she was comfortable. He wanted it to be memora
THIRD PERSON'S POV Myra winced as she ran a finger over her wrist. It was bruised, as usual. Nothing was new about that. She had been going through the same pain and humiliation for the past six years, now she had just turned 19 and still all of it was the same. She had tried to escape so many times, but had never been succesfull, her ill fate, she had always termed it. What made the situation even worse was that the alpha of the pack that had held her captive was claiming that she was his mate. She was sure he wasn't her mate since she hadn't felt any bond with him, but her denial only brought her more pain. She had a strong wolf, after all she had survived 6 years of abuse and torture. But everything has its limits. Lately she had not been feeling her wolf. Perhaps she was only taking time to heal and gain new energy. All of it would pass eventually, of that she was sure. When? She asked herself. She had no idea. All she needed to do was survive till the evening. Since it was th
THIRD PERSON'S POV Everyone dreams once I a while. In general, it is good to fantasize, but one should always remember to keep their feet on the ground at all times. What's more, pain is inevitable, we can always hope for the best and at the same time brace ourselves for the worst. If only Myra had known what misfortune lied in her finding her mate. If only she had braced herself for the situation she was about to encounter. If only...At daybreak, Myra found herself in an unknown territory, welcoming but unknown nonetheless. She scanned her sorrounding and was greeted with beautiful colourful trees.Trees of all colours adorned the ground, each unique in its own way, all trying to outshine one another and at the same time working together to keep the grounds as alluring as a bride decked for her wedding night. She would have mistaken it for heaven had she not already heard stories of the Cresent pack. Now that she was witnessing it she had to admit that the stories had done the pla
