Seven days had passed since Adelynn's unpleasant encounter with her exboyfriend. She had been anxious and apprehensive, knowing that Jensen was still out there. Within those seven days, Adelynn had been feeling a little ill. At first, she had believed it to be as a result of how stressed she'd been. But, the symptoms were quickly progressing, coupled with the fact that she had missed her monthly cycles for a while now. She didn't want to raise a false alarm yet. A warm smile tugged at Adelynn's lips once her husband returned home. He noticed the presence of his mother, Adelynn's mother, Stella and Chloe. "Okay, what's the occasion?" In the large sitting room of Dominic's home, he was sitting on the couch with Adelynn's head on his lap. He fondly stroked her hair as they watched the TV. "Do you remember the first letter we wrote to each other?" Adelynn asked and he smiled. "Of course, I do" Dominic responded as he thought about how nervous he'd been to write the letter. At first, he'd thought that Adelynn wouldn't get the chance to read the letter because Jensen would always follow her wherever she went. Dominic had managed to sneak the letter into her locker.
