Donna Finds A Mate

"Thena. Hey, girl, you have to wake up. Please don't scare us!" Donna's pleading voice pulls me out of my slumber and I snap my eyes open. Before I can ask what's going on, two fluffy dolls pounce on me. "Mommy!" Alaric and Sapphire exclaim at the same time.

"Do not worry, babies, mommy is alright. I was just tired from last night's events." I soothe them whilst embracing my twin babies. I sneak a peek at the clock and gasp. It is almost midday. No wonder everyone looks worried!

"C'mon babies. Let mommy clean up. Let us go downstairs and wait for her." Donna urges and the twins rush out giggling as they play tag along the way. Donna smiles but when she turns to me, her expression makes me freeze for a moment.
