Arthur remains unconscious but restless. In his dream, he seems to have travelled to the past. As we all know, the wolf spirits have lived through centuries. Angus, Arthur's wolf was such an ancient spirit. He has possessed different humans through the passage of time.

However, he was a not so civilized wolf. Angus was haughty and cold blooded. Whenever he would find a mate, as long as she is weak, he would not just reject her but took pleasure in slowly breaking his mate's until they are beyond saving. As a warrior, he had seen too much blood for his heart to be stirred.

The Moon Goddess was not happy but discovered that she could no longer control her creation. Therefore she sought help from the goddess of love, Aphrodite. Who in turn decided that Angus should never have a mate for half a millenia. The haughty wolf, through passage of time, slowly began to feel suffocated by loneliness.
