PRECIOUS
I looked at everyone gathered in the hall decorated with flowers and colorful lights, happiness radiating within me as the joy of being a happy pack put a smile on my face. “Precious, come over here. What are you thinking about?” Emily, my Alpha's daughter and closest friend in the pack, called out to me, her voice cheerful that I immediately knew that she was up to something. I turned to look at her, and her face immediately changed to a crimson red, filling up her beautiful face. I arched my brow and smiled. “News? From the tone of your voice, I already detect it to be good.” Emily's smile widened, revealing a set of white teeth, and I walked towards where she sat amongst her family. When I tried to sit down, she stood up in an instant and grabbed my hand before dragging me away from everyone else. “What’s wrong with you? Why the excitement...?” I didn't get to finish before she clasped a hand on my mouth, deliberately stopping me from speaking more. “Guess who I saw today?” she said, twirling around, and her red curly hair bounced in the night sky. I snapped my finger at her, trying to bring her back to the world I was in because I knew she was in her imaginary world. “You know I'm not good at guessing, so you can spill the beans now,” I declared, my curiosity piqued at whatever she had to say. I was excited for her; she hadn't been this excited for a long while, and it was a good thing that she had a reason to be now. Emily rolled her eyes and flicked her hair. “I will tell you. I met the Alpha of the Blood Canine Pack. No, not the big Alpha but one of the sons. Ehm, yes, it's Duke.” I gulped. I wondered what she was so excited about because if situations were reversed and I was the person who met with him, I would be shivering in terror by now. Who didn't know about the Blood Canine Pack? They had the most fearsome and ruthless Alphas. The main Alpha birthed his five demons who kept tormenting their pack members. “And you are excited?” I could only ask, my mouth left open in an O-shaped form. She could see the horrified look on my face because she burst out laughing the next minute. “Why wouldn't I be? He's the cutest guy I have ever met, and the good thing is that he noticed me. He kept flirting with me, and I felt so special. And the other good thing is that he even knows who I am,” Emily said in one breath, her chest heaving up and down like she had just done a marathon race. Even I knew how handsome the quintuplets were, and she wasn't the only one who had fantasized about them. I had too, and I believe most maidens do too. But being an omega and the daughter of a Beta, I knew I stood no chance. Emily was more beautiful than I was, and she was, in fact, an Alpha. Of course, if she said he noticed her, I wouldn't doubt her. No man can resist her beauty; it has been proven true countless times. So many influential families had come to seek her hand in marriage, but she had rejected them all. Well, you could not blame her when most of her suitors are well above 27 years old, whereas, we are yet to clock 18. My eyes rounded up in happiness. “I'm so happy for you. It's good that one of us got him rather than any other.” “Yes, I know. But then, he hasn't declared interest in being my boyfriend. Until then, I will be very happy,” Emily said pitifully, her once happy eyes now dull. What she said made sense; it was only a flirt which doesn't mean it would lead to marriage. “Let's just hope that the moon goddess would be kind enough to mate you two together.” I soothed her, my hands holding onto her slender shoulders as I tried to assure her through my eyes. “I hope you get mated to one of his brothers as well,” Emily said kindly before she enveloped me into a hug. A loud sound of explosion pierced through the night sky, and Emily and I separated in a rush, looking at one another in fear. Soon enough, loud screams erupted and terror seized me, and I dragged Emily back to where everyone was. When we got there, we shrieked in horror at the sight before us. There were about a hundred werewolves—who I perceived instantly to be rogues—killing our pack members with either knife, spade, or gun. Those who were strong enough were doing combat, and my tummy churned at the view before me. Emily screamed, and she shifted to her amazing Alpha form. I knew there was nothing she could do because she was still a female Alpha and she was defenseless. They were guarded and she was not. I used that moment to search for my parents, who are my only family. Looking from fallen werewolves who were mostly dead and those fighting for survival, I spotted Mom huddled under a table with three other women, including Luna Roseline. I ran to them, and I yelled my mother's name. When she heard my call, she got up from her hidden position and beckoned me to come to her. I knelt by her side and wrapped my arms around her. Sobs shook us over, tearing the strong walls which we had managed to build. “Run away from here, dear,” Mom pleaded, her tears gushing down from her eyes that it dropped on my skin which was bare. “Run and hide so that they can never catch you.” I shook my head and looked into her frightened eyes. “No, Mom, I won't do that. I won't live the life of a coward who fled when her family and pack members were being slaughtered!“ She tried to persuade me, but seeing that my mind was already made up, she gave a light nod as she let the hot tears fall freely down her face. “Where's Dad?” I questioned, fear gripping me that he must already have been killed. I knew it was impossible for us to leave alive and that death was the only path, but I still needed to tell him my last goodbye. “He's fighting with the Alpha,” Mom muttered, her voice losing the lively vibe it normally had. As I turned away from them, the voice of Luna Roseline called out to me. “Where's Emily, Precious?” “She left me to fight,” I answered, knowing she would not like it, but neither she nor I had a choice in this. It was her decision to go, not mine; besides, she still has the Alpha blood in her, which means that no one can change her mind when it's already made up. “Please run after her; she's my only child and I don't want to lose her,” Luna Roseline pleaded, her voice hoarse which I knew was due to excess weeping. Knowing that there was nothing I could do and that agreeing with her was for the best, I gave her a nod before leaving them alone. As I walked through the dead bodies, I saw the most horrifying image in my life. Standing like a proud soldier laughing loudly was a big rogue holding the head of a man in his hands, and a loud scream erupted from my mouth when I recognized the owner of the head. My Alpha King, my godfather and the father of my best friend, is no more. Everyone turned towards me, but surprisingly, no one advanced towards me. In my still shocked state, I saw my father beheaded, and I fell to the ground. By now, all the other rogues were out, and from the corner of my eyes, I could see some heading where my mom and the other women were hiding. Five minutes later, I still sat on the ground as tears fell down my face in torrents. I felt very useless; if I had gotten my wolf yet, I would have fought back. Rather, I was nothing but a weak human. In my presence, my parents and pack members were killed, and I couldn't do anything. I felt so cursed because what was I doing alive when everyone I loved was killed and I was spared? Still locked up in my thoughts, I didn't know when someone came to stand before me. Standing up in an instant, I jerked away and looked frightened at him. He was one of the rogues, and trust me, he's the ugliest thing I have ever set my eyes on. It was no wonder that his heart was ugly if he could live with such an ugly face. “Are you here to finally kill me because I don't understand why you choose to keep me alive after killing my whole family.” I choked on my words, tears falling like non-stop rain down my face. He laughed. “Nah, I'm not going to kill you. In fact, I have a special offer for you.” “I'm not interested in any offer of yours. Kill me and finish your work or let me go so that I can finish mine.” I spat angrily at him, my hatred-filled gaze boring into his, equally the ones I was receiving. He marched towards me and grabbed my jaw and squeezed it in his hands. I winced in pain as the long nails he wore penetrated into my skin, leaving me wounded. “You do not have a choice here, and I want you to know that. You are now my slave and my offer is that I will let you be auctioned for sale.” I stared back at him in shock, and my heart broke a lot more than it had since today. If someone had told me that my life would one day change its fate, I wouldn't have believed them. Now, not only did I witness the cold murder of my parents and pack members, I was now a slave for an auctioned price. Two weeks later, I sat in front of the vanity room that I shared with the other slave girls. A lot had changed since that day when I lost everyone I had. I was now a bruised and broken girl whose body had endured several beatings. There was no shoulder to cry on, so I bore my pain alone. Today was another day to be auctioned, and I was already tired of hoping to be bought by a good man. In my perspective, any man who buys a slave is evil. And I didn't know whether whoever would buy me was worse than these people that enslaved me. A knock sounded on the door, and before I could say a word, it was thrown open. “Get ready to appear in the auctioning room and remember to look your best. Hopefully, there will be someone who will be willing to purchase you today,” the messenger said, his tone bringing an unsettling feeling to the pit of my stomach, his voice cold as it resounded harshly in the quiet room. “I will be there soon,” was my reply. After he was gone, I finished up my light makeup, which I was forced to put on, before leaving the room.PRECIOUS As I stepped into the auctioning room, my heart pounded in my chest. I felt a mix of fear and resignation, knowing that I was merely a commodity to be sold to the highest bidder. The room was filled with the rich and powerful, individuals who had the means to purchase slaves like me. As the auctioneer started the bidding, my mind wandered back to the life I had before this tragedy befell my pack. I remembered the joyous gatherings, the camaraderie, and the love that once surrounded me. Now, I was reduced to this, a broken soul waiting to be owned by someone else. The bidding started, and my heart sank with each offer. I knew I was not worth much in their eyes, but I couldn't help but hope that someone with a kind heart might rescue me from this hellish fate. The first bidder offered a considerable sum, but it was quickly surpassed by the second bidder. My eyes met theirs briefly, and I saw nothing but greed and cruelty reflected in their gaze. I shuddered, hoping they woul
PRECIOUS As I stood there, trying my best to maintain composure despite the hurtful comments, Alpha Rodriguez stepped forward, his expression stern. “Enough!” he commanded, and his voice held an authority that silenced his sons instantly. “This is not how we treat our guests, especially one under my protection. I won't tolerate any disrespectful behavior towards her.” The five Alpha males looked taken aback by their father's stern tone. They exchanged glances, seemingly surprised by his reaction. The one who seemed eager to take advantage of me looked especially disappointed by the turn of events. Alpha Rodriguez turned towards me, his gaze softening. “I apologize for their behavior,” he said. “My sons can be rough around the edges, but they mean no real harm. I will make sure they treat you with the respect you deserve.” I nodded, appreciating his intervention, though the uncertainty about what awaited me in this household remained. The Alpha's sons, now more subdued, stepped forw
PRECIOUS “Miss, I was assigned to show you your room.” A small voice pulled me out of my reverie, and I shuddered, watching her with wide eyes. She was dressed like a maid, her black wavy hair standing on end, giving her a slightly disheveled appearance. She looked to be about my age, or slightly older by a year or two. I offered her a weak smile, “Thank you.” I followed her inside, my mouth hanging open in awe at the extravagance of the living room. It was lavishly furnished to perfection, with plush sofas, gleaming chandeliers, and intricate tapestries that seemed to tell a story. A grand piano stood like a sentinel in the corner, its intricately carved legs gleaming in the soft glow. The opulence was overwhelming, and I felt like a small, out-of-place creature in a grand, luxurious house. I was led upstairs, the creaking of the steps echoing through the silence, until the maid suddenly stopped, pushing the door open with a gentle gesture of her right hand. “This is your room,
PRECIOUS THE FOLLOWING DAY, “Dear, would you like more rice?” Alpha Rodriguez asked, a warm smile on his face. We were all having breakfast, and I had already emptied my plate due to intense hunger. Red color made its way to my face, and I nodded, casting a glance at the young Alphas. “Yes, Alpha.” Alpha Rodriguez chuckled. “You don't have to be ashamed about eating. Food will help build your strength, so there's basically nothing to be ashamed of.” I didn't know what to say, so I hummed in response. The rest of breakfast was silent, and I was grateful for it. After everyone had eaten, I thanked Alpha Rodriguez and pushed my chair backwards, rising to my feet. “Actually, I'd like to discuss something with you,” Alpha Rodriguez said, clearing his throat to draw my attention. I raised my left eyebrow, falling back into the seat, and holding his gaze. “Okay, I'm listening.” “I really do not want to push you into doing something you do not like. It's not like I'm trying to, it's
PRECIOUS As the sun filtered through my room, its warm rays gently woke me up. Excitement and nerves fluttered within me; today was my birthday, and it meant two significant things. Firstly, I would finally get to meet my wolf, my lifelong companion and protector. Secondly, if fate smiled upon me, I might also find my mate. As the morning light enveloped me, I stretched my limbs and felt a rush of energy coursing through my body. Today was the day, and I could hardly wait to see what destiny had in store for me. I knew I was different from the others; I was a human without a pack, and I possessed an aura that seemed to captivate Alpha Rodriguez and his sons, though not always in a positive way. With anticipation in my heart, I got out of bed and looked at myself in the mirror. My golden hair cascaded down my back, and my hazel eyes shimmered with hope. I took a deep breath, knowing that whatever happened today, I needed to be strong and brave. Making my way downstairs, I noticed th
PRECIOUS I fell down on the floor while they towered over me, looking gorgeous and powerful. I wanted the ground to open and swallow me whole. I couldn't bear it if they tried to reject me, and neither could I accept them myself. How could the moon goddess do this to me, pairing me up with five hot males who were hell-bent on troubling me? Duke reached out his hand to pull me up, but I flung his hand away, moving backwards to avoid body contact with them. “Stay away from me!” “You are my mate, Precious. So why should I stay away from you?” Duke asked softly, his expression gentle as his eyes searched my face. He reached out again to hold me, and I let him. I don't know why I allowed him to touch me. Maybe it was because he was kind towards me or the mate bond working out attractions already. Immediately our bodies touched, an electric shock passed through me, and I wondered whether he felt it too. Duke's eyes arched up, a sly grin on his handsome face, and he pulled me to my feet. T
PRECIOUS “What do you think I am, your little servant who will do your every bidding? Nah, you can't command me like that. You have to be a little romantic before I help you out,” Duke replied casually. His tongue continued to tease my nipples, and the heat of my pussy shut me up from retorting. It was not time to talk back. Right now, I would do all his bidding just to get his tongue on my pussy. “Please, daddy, help me out,” I cried, standing on my knees on the bed and wrapping my arms around him. I helped him take off his top, and my eyes trailed over his body. He looked so yummy with no clothes covering his upper parts, and I let my eyes wander to his amazing abs. His six-pack looked so inviting, and without thinking, I started touching it with my hand. “Look at me when you do that,” Duke said huskily, his eyes fierce with need, and my heart melted because I was the one he lusted for. Most girls would die to spend a night with him, and here I was having him all to myself. I
PRECIOUS After getting his fill from sucking my breast, he stood up and inserted two fingers in my pussy, while he started drumming inside of me. Each thrust was deeper than the last, and I threw back my head in pleasure. “What’s that sound coming from your room?” a hoarse voice sounded outside the room, and without having to see who it was, I knew who it belonged to—Alpha Rodriguez. I panicked and pushed Duke away from me while I used the duvet that lay carelessly at the foot of the bed and wrapped it around my body. “I’m watching an adult movie,” I managed to speak, silently praying that he would not open the door. “Um, please, do not come in, Alpha.” Duke chuckled silently beside me, and I turned to give him one of my scariest looks, but that just made him laugh more. “This is past midnight already, Precious. Turn off your phone and have some sleep before you wake the whole pack with your p**n movie,” Alpha Rodriguez said a bit sternly, and I shouted back that I would before h
"Spill," he said, sitting up on the ground as he tried to regain his strength by filling up oxygen into his already depleted body."You will promise to return every penny you and your family owe Beatrice."Lionel stared at him in a flabbergasted manner for a while. He would never have thought that he would ask him something like this. He knew refusing was going to cost him a lot, and he was no fool to bet properties to that of his sister's life or probably his too.But there’s no way he was going to fulfill that part of his promise. Even Francis was aware of this fact as well, which was why he had a backup plan."Deal," he said, getting up from the ground and extending a hand for a handshake. But Francis looked at it as though it was infected by leprosy.Biting back his words, Lionel lowered his hand to his side."Take me to where you hid my girl." Lionel heard the possessiveness in his tone and he couldn't help but wonder what sort of relationship he had with his stepsister. The thou
Lionel's body stiffened at the coldness in the voice of the stranger with his sister's phone. His hold on the phone suddenly became strong, as though he was going to smash it into little chalk flakes. He swore under his breath to deal with whoever was toying with his family. That person was causing his mom and sister to be afraid of him, and he did not like that. He was the son of a very prominent man, and he wouldn't let someone bully him just like that."Where do I find you?" He grounded out the words in anger. Anger consumed him, but he knew he needed to stay calm if he wanted to see his precious little sister again.Francis, on the other side, chuckled slightly but remained quiet for a moment. He was considering playing a little game with the family, but at the same time, he was weighing whether or not they were worth his time.He had wasted his precious little time trying to save the princess in distress, but he had not found her yet."You are wasting my time!" Lionel fired angri
Francis dragged the unconscious body of Violet out of his room and led her towards his car. He unlocked his car and laid her on the back seat before cleaning his bloodied hands on the space on her dress that was without blood. He sat behind the wheel before driving towards her residence.Flashback,After her blunt refusal to tell him where she kept Beatrice, he sliced the knife on her neck, and her blood spilled out of her, staining both herself and him before dripping on the floor.A loud yelp left her mouth when the pain shot through her spine. Her eyes trained on the floor, they widened in disbelief as she stared at her own blood flowing into a puddle on the floor. She raised her elbow and hit him, and the knife in his hand fell down, but he didn't let her take it as his hold on her body tightened. Francis pushed a finger into the hole he created on her body, and she cried out in pain.Using his left hand, he grabbed her two hands and wrung them together as his teeth clanged togeth
Silent but hot tears flowed down her face as the echo resounded in her ears. She was not ready to meet her mother any time soon, and she couldn't think of ways to get out of the dungeon she was in.Her head started hurting, and she knew it was due to the numerous times she had hit her head on the floor. Placing her hands on her head, Beatrice massaged it.There was no hope left in her. The only hope she had was taken away from her when the message she sent to Mr. Francis was deleted.Tears of sorrow poured down her face continuously, her heartbeat increasing by the minute, fear clutching her heart, and her mind flying in so many places."What do I do now? How do I get out of here?" she asked no one in particular. The only thing that met her was silence and the eeriness she felt in the godforsaken place. No one had come to see her since she was left here. She had planned on begging them again when they came to check on her, and it's been hours already since she heard that sound. The on
“Who are you and what the hell do you want from me?” she said through gritted teeth, her tone cold, which made her appear dangerous for her age. Francis tipped his head backward, his eyes appraising her from head to toe. He found her demeanor amusing, and a chuckle escaped his mouth. His continued silence in response to her questions infuriated her, and she clenched her fists as her chest heaved up and down. “Why are you laughing? Do I look funny to you?” Violet snapped. She walked up to him, standing just a few feet away, her eyes boring into his, and she stomped her foot impatiently. “I demand answers!” Francis's chuckle intensified. “You really are a funny, dumb girl. I can see that.” His expression changed abruptly from a smile to a hardened glare, his jaw grinding. He reached out and grabbed her by the hair, causing her face to contort in pain, a hurt whimper escaping her lips. Violet winced as he continued to yank her hair as if pulling out a weed from the soil. “What the
It was then that she heard hushed voices that she instantly recognized as belonging to her stepmother and two sisters. Sweat poured down her body, sticking her to the light material she was wearing when something caught her ears. “So you are saying that you killed that witch mom?” A hushed, happy voice of a girl rang out, and Beatrice, who recognized it as Chloe's, shuddered again. Her heart was beating wildly, and she covered her mouth with her hand to stop herself from screaming, thereby alerting them that someone was around. Tears poured out of her eyes, but she blinked them away and walked closer to the door, her body shaking uncontrollably. Beatrice took out her mobile phone from her bag, immediately put it on record, and held it closer to the door. “Yes, I killed the bitch, and I'm happy that I took the initiative to do that,” Beatrice's stepmother said in a proud tone, making Beatrice feel like slapping her from where she stood. “I would have loved it more if you had killed
Beatrice parked her car in front of the mansion she had always seen as a home before her stepmother and her three children changed things for her. She took a deep breath and moved a finger to her forehead before massaging it with a frown on her face. This was the first time she was returning home after being kicked out, and it was all due to Duke, the guy she met some time ago at the Wild Night club when she had gone there to distract herself from her problems, and she was glad she did. Taking her cellphone out of the miniature bag she carried, she dialed the number of the man who was helping her regain her parents' properties. "Good morning, sir. I'm at the residence right now. I just wanted to let you know I will be inside the building in a few minutes." Her voice sounded crisp, yet she tried hard to collect herself. "Alright, but please record every conversation for me. It will be required in court," Mr. Francis, the man Duke introduced to her to help her get back all her rights

PRECIOUS Duke covered my eyes with his hands, gently leading me to god knows where. Inhaling and exhaling divine air, I swallowed back my question, which I had asked for the hundredth times already. He was hell bent on not telling me or giving me as much of a hint of where he was taking me to. I could hear Richmond's chuckles behind us, but I said nothing and let Duke take me where he wanted. After all, I trusted him well enough to know this wasn't a small surprise. “Be careful of my old feet, honey.” I whispered, pulling my lower lip in between my mouth. “Not too old for my hands not to be able to massage them, prishy baby.” A tint of color made its way to my face, and I thanked the goddess that they were behind me, or else I would be teased until tomorrow. I still don't understand how I can still blush around them. It's been fifteen years already, yet I have not outgrown this attraction between us. Sparks still fly whenever we touch, and not a day passes without me thanking t
