PRECIOUS

I was only in my towel, just fresh out of the bath, when I heard a knock on my door.

"Who's there?" I called, applying cream on my neck. I smoothed it on every area of my neck before moving my hand down to my chest.

"It's Jane, Luna," a tiny voice spoke out, and I sighed, remembering who the voice belonged to.

"Come in." The door opened, and from the mirror, I saw her walk in with her head bent.

"How may I help you?" I said, turning around to face her. She fiddled with her hands, and I was greatly amused. I walked up to her and lifted her head. "Look at me, I won't bite you."

"I'm so-r-r-y bu-t I c-an't, Lu-na," she stuttered, lowering her gaze.

"Then stop shivering like a fish that was taken out of a stream," I said, irritated. I walked back to the mirror and continued applying cream to my body. "What do you want?"

"Alpha Rodriguez sent me here to assist you with anything you want, Luna," she replied with a little stutter.
