PRECIOUS

Ruby was sitting beside Katya, the lady who would be decorating the house for us. Katya seemed to be showing her something which I guessed was the source of their laughter.

I stepped closer towards them and Katya raised her hair, noticing my presence. She was a brunette with long and straight hair. She looked surprised to see me and I cocked my eyebrow up, and she nudged Ruby who turned to face me.

I saw her breath catch in her throat and a fleeting emotion flushed over her face. She gave a slight cough and I forced out a smile before making my way to the seat on my right hand side.

Even though I was planning on inviting her to my mates' birthday party, I still did not think she had any right to come over without informing me especially after I had made it clear to her the last time she was here that her presence wasn't appreciated.
