CHAPTER 206

PRECIOUS

I had been up since dawn, making preparations for the quintuplets' birthday party. I asked Alpha Rodriguez two days ago to let me handle the preparations, and he had been more than happy to oblige.

I typed fast on my system, making sure that my invitation letter was up in order which I was going to send to some of our neighboring packs. The quintuplets didn't have an idea about a party, because I wanted to surprise them with it. I guess they don't even remember that it was their birthday in two days time. They had been busy in taking care of things and Alpha Rodriguez told me privately that he was going to step down as Alpha of the pack on their birthday so that my position as the Luna of the pack would be more valid. Although I knew that was not the reason he was trying to back down from the pack, he had after all served the pack for a long time and it was time for him to sit back and let his sons take over things.

I glanced at the last words I had typed down and nodded
