PRINCIPAL MYLES APARTMENT Carrying news of a deceased to his family is the hardest thing to do as a cop. Captain White emits a deep sigh. He squeezed his hand into a full fist and gently gave a full-fisted knock. It didn’t take time for the door to be answered. The door flung open. “Yes, how may I help you?” Principal Myles second daughter inquired. She opened the door halfway and waged it with her body. Captain White flashed his badge. “I’m Captain White with the NOPD,” he said. “It’s your mother's home?” “Yes,” she answered with hesitation in her voice. “Hope there’s no problem?” “You mind if I come in and speak with her?” Captain White wrapped up his badge and tossed it into his suit pocket. What he has for the family of Myles is not what he should discuss with Principal Myles’ daughter. It is indeed heavy news that she can’t even bear alone. “Who is it, Rosita?” Mrs. Myles yelled from inside. “It’s the p
MYSTIC CAVE Lucas made a rough landing next to his mother’s statue. He pulled himself back up to his feet like an enraged lion looking for a fight. When he looked around, he saw her mother and the rest of the witches staring at him with a surprised gazes. “Send me back!” Lucas yelled. This must be his mother’s doing. He glanced around with rage in his eyes. “I said, send me back!” he roared in his might. His eyes glowed blue. His fingers grew into claws as his fangs popped out. The witches drew back except for Lucas’ mother. They’re not ready to put up a fight with a wolf about to enter into a wolf rage. “Son, you need to calm down,” Susan whispered. Lucas flicked around casting his eyes on his mother. “Don’t tell me to calm down,” he gnawed. “She needs me and you just pulled me out leaving her there to die!” “I saw what happened, son,” Susan spoke in a soothing voice. “She was bitten and she won’t survive.”
Lucas is disoriented that he doesn’t know what to do. His chances of getting the mystical brimstone have been ruined by Ozenzo. His invasion of the ancestors’ world will cost the lives of Jane and Alicia just as it cost the life of Bonnie. His mind raced with a series of thoughts. A possible solution would be what he’s needed for his next action. “Son, what are you doing out here?” his father’s words pierced his ears sharply. He flicked around emitting a sigh of relief. “Dad,” he called out. He threw his arms across his father’s shoulder and squeezes him tightly in his arms. “I thought I will never see you again.” A sob escaped his lips. “Everything will be alright,” Captain White slowly pats his shoulder. He received a call from her wife to rush home. ‘Our son is home, I need you to rush home and keep your eyes on him,’ Susan said over the phone. “We should be inside,” Captain White said as he gently breaks the hug. “It’s not sa
RAILWAY FACILITY UP-TOWN It used to be a station where trains stop for the passengers to get into and get off the train. It’s no longer what it was before. Dumps are littered everywhere with gentle breeze tossing the littered papers away. It was once a busy place. But now lonely as a graveyard. The passengers would stand in a queue to collect their tickets in front of the ticket counter. It’s now a dead end. Before the election of Congressman Styles into congress, this train station used to work perfectly. People were looking for their trains and running toward their racks, and some were roaming here and there waiting for their trains, and a lot of people were there in the waiting hall waiting for the boarding announcement. There used to be lots of shops for tea and snacks, bookshops, and fruit shots but all of them have been forced out of business because the railway station building has fallen into disuse. This is where Nick pointed at the map. Where
“You didn’t tell me she was a Banshee!” Alpha Jones cast a stone face gaze at Zuka. “Not my fault you acted hastily,” Zuka sprang back to his feet. He stretched his hand to help alpha Jones up. Alpha Jones hissed and shoved his hand. He mumbled and sprang up to his feet. As he was about to say, “Fix this mess…” Jane flew at a speed of sound and stood behind them blasting them through the rocks with another powerful sonic scream. Zuka is the one behind all that has happened to her. He can’t hide under his thick dark hooded cloak under the sun forever. She was aiming to rip that cloak off him when a Beta pouched on her from behind. The Beta pinned her to the ground gnawing at the bottom of his lips. Too bad he didn’t get the memo: ‘Don’t attack a Banshee if you can’t silence her.’ Jane smirked to herself. “Amateur,” she said. She opened her mouth wide and emits a sonic scream throwing the Beta off her body.
Maureen breaks out into a peal of loud laughter in a silly way. She laughed repeatedly. “You can’t erase my memories because I’m always on spirits herb, vervain, and wolfbane.” His words shocked Lucas. He glanced at Ann with disbelief in his eyes. He moved closer to Maureen and asked without hesitation in his voice. “Why do you take all that.” This explains why he wasn’t able to catch up Maureen’s scent when she walked into the train station. On getting closer, he was able to hear her heartbeat. With spirit’s herb in her system, no witch can erase her memories unless she’s drained dry. The wolfbane she has taken will make it impossible for any werewolf to catch up with her scent. For the vervain, no vampire would force her to go against her will with mind compulsion and neither will any vampire attempt to taste her blood. These three herbs in her system are powerful substances to keep the witches, werewolves, and vampires away f
“I won’t let them leave,” Ann argued. They’re just plotting to kill Lucas. Allowing them to leave isn’t healthy for Lucas. He didn’t choose who he is. “What do you propose?” Lucas glanced at Ann with curiosity. “Watch and learn,” Ann said. She disappeared in a flash of light and appeared behind Maureen and Pablo. They were already making their way out to call for backup. “Leaving so soon?” Maureen flicked around firing a shot. Ann disappeared into thin air. “Show yourself witch!” she yelled. She was supporting Pablo. When he was blasted, he made a rough landing on the ticket counter hurting himself badly. It’s difficult for him to move without Maureen lending her shoulder. “Let’s leave… come on, come on!” he cried out. “Not so fast,” Ann reappeared and stood before them. She narrowed her gaze at them. She drove her staff upwards with one powerful thrust, blasting them into a blue portal. She glance
Luck didn’t run out on Jane and Alicia this time. The wolfbane in their system has worn out which gave room for Lucas to catch up with their scent. Bad news for alpha Jones, this isn’t a full moon. An added advantage for Lucas is to use his wizardry power against him. Jones was still in the air when Lucas blasted him through his pack with a wind blast. Lucas launched himself into the air and fired another wind blast. The blast came with a wind wave knocking down trees. “Stay behind me,” Jane whispered to Alicia. “And cover your ears.” She stretched her hand forward and started squeezing her fingers slowly into a fist. She manipulated the same Beta to float in the air. Ash, squeezes her fingers, and the Beta was drawn toward her. “You wanna see something new?” she whispered. Jane whispered into the ear of the Beta and released him to slump to the ground. The Beta yelled out like one in deep torment. He rolled over the gr
“All rise!” the registrar echoed to the hearing of the people. As the judge takes his seat. The registrar ordered the court to sit as he calls out the cases. “The City of New Orleans vs. Lucas White.” The judge requests the lawyer of the plaintiff to identify himself. The plaintiff opens his case first. He has witnesses ready to testify against the defendant. What congressman Styles keep telling the press was that Lucas came for retribution and have succeeded in killing his son. He told the press it was wrong for Lucas to take laws into his hands. He has vowed with the blood of his son that Lucas will never escape the wrath of the law for killing his defenseless son, Jack. The evidence presented by the plaintiff's lawyer points to Lucas being the killer. The jury has reached their verdict and now the judge is about to pass the judgment. Lucas was terrified of what his fate would be in the prison away from his family and friends.
CONGRESSMAN STYLES MANSION “Let him go!” Lucas yelled. Jack was suspended in the air. He pleads for his life but Ann showed no mercy. She glanced at Lucas with hate in her eyes. “You will never find my former mistress’ corpse.” Ann’s words stroke him. “So it was you?” “I had help,” Ann giggled. “Let him go and we can talk about this,” Lucas pleaded. “Whatever anger you have should be channeled to me. He has nothing to do with it.” “You are right,” Ann flashed a fake smile that can’t get to Lucas. “He has been a pain in your ass and now I want to help you delete him.” With a flick of her wrist, Ann released Jack and let him slump to the ground. Lucas moved at an accelerated speed to help Jack but Ann flings him away. She appeared behind Lucas and stabbed him with a similar dagger he stabbed Lucas with. “Die asshole,” she whispered into his ear. “No!” Lucas roared. It’s too late fo
SIX MONTHS LATER Lucas walks into the cemetery to spend time on Bonnie’s grave. Things seem to be back to normal in his city. He has achieved getting the vampires, the witches, the werewolves, Banshees, gypsies, and the hunters to agree on a truce. The supernatural community will now live in harmony with the humans without any party looking over their shoulders. As he draws closer, he caught a glimpse of sand by the grave. Something isn’t right. He quickly made his way toward the sand that was close to Bonnie’s tombstone only to realize that her grave has been dug. When his mother returned from the ancestors’ world with the rest of the witches, she came back with Bonnie’s corpse. After consecrating it, they buried her close to her mother.Lucas quickly jumps into the grave as he reaches for the coffin. He opened the coffin. To his greatest shock, the coffin is empty. “Impossible!” he cried out. Is this real? No, it can’t be real. ‘There’s no way she could be alive,’ he thought to
DOWNTOWN There’s been an attack in the bar close to the witches’ quarters. The people of New Orleans have been hearing of mysterious killings by a wild cat. Some say the witches are behind the killings. The witches assumed the wild cat bite happens to be a bite mark from vampires. They do not want to get into a fight with the vampires especially now Lucas is speaking of a truce. They quickly made their way out of the bar leaving the barman, John, and Scott alone.Customers at the bar are running helter-skelter. The customers were still in shock. They have never seen such an attack or someone who vanishes out of thin air or morphs into a cat. ‘This is sorcery!” they screamed running out from the bar.The cat hops and stood at the bar counter making a constant purring sound. In the bar was one of Zuka’s vampires who has gone to get a witch to help Zuka out of his deep slumber. When he heard screams coming from the bar, he diverted and started heading toward the bar.
“What are you doing?” Jane stared with a confused look. This isn’t saving. Pete’s actions got her puzzled. “A few tricks I learned from Jones,” Pete replied without looking up. His hand was still buried in Lucas’ chest. He isn’t pulling it out – instead, he held Lucas firmly in his arm. He glanced at Jane. There was a concerned look on her face. The look one gives when betrayed. “Relax,” he said. “I’m just trying to keep his heartbeat.” “By burring your claws into his chest?” Jane cast a wide-eyed gaze. At this moment, she doesn’t know whose side Pete is on. “I’m just massaging his heart,” Pete spoke up in his defense. He knew that look on Jane’s face. He focuses on his alpha and continued caressing his heart. It’s a way of reviving a werewolf if you noticed his heartbeat slowing down. By just massaging the heart, the heart will get back popping blood as it ought. Jones used this trick to revive
“Lucas, wake up!” a loud voice called out. The voice came growing louder and closer in Lucas’ ear. He quickly sat up and started gazing around. Nothing seems familiar. There was a slow-moving creek close by. It’s quite different from the bayou at Hilltop. As he was about to get to his feet, the voice came again, “You’re not supposed to be here.” He flicked around. He recognizes the voice. It was Bonnie speaking. There she is standing and staring down at him next to a tree. Lucas quickly sprang up to his feet and wanted to make a run for it. Bonnie disappeared and reappeared before him. “You’re not supposed to be here!” she yelled. “You don’t belong here.” “Please don’t hurt me!” Lucas cried out. He was terrified like a scared little child. “I will not hurt you but you need to leave—you don’t belong here!” she disappeared into thin air. Lucas stared around puzzled in fear. His legs shake rapidly. H
PRINCIPAL MYLES APARTMENT A full-fisted knock interrupted the quiet noon of Alicia. She’s still mourning her dad and has not resumed school. Principal Walter has assured her she could get all the class updates in their class group and has given her as much time as she needed to get over the death of her father. She was the only one at home. Her mother has resumed work and so is Rosita. Maureen on the other hand has been busy with her team trying to catch Ann. She told them how Ann killed Pablo and cut her ankle. There were pleased to hear that the same Lucas they wanted to gun down healed her. The rumor of Lucas seeking a truce has gone viral and the Five Fingers have agreed to be part of it. They see it as a good way for all creatures to live in harmony without hurting or hurting each other. It was a welcome idea. But for Ann, they have never stopped looking for her. Alicia answered the door. It was Jane. They were greeted with a warm hug.
The pale-looking man’s hand is mangled and his skin peels away like a banana. They are replaced with the large, hairy, and dangerous clawed hands of a beastly creature. “Not again!” Captain White cried out. He has witnessed the furious nature of werewolves in the woods but got his ass saved by his wife. Too bad Kora isn’t here to save him. She’s still kicking some asses in the ancestors’ world. Is either he fights or gets maimed. The pendant given to him by Eva to protect him from werewolves has lost its power since she died. When the ancestors killed her, they destroyed every spell she created, and all magical objects she made died with her. The pale-looking man’s eyes are now stripped of all humanity and replaced with the eyes of a hunter beast. His entire body starts molding itself into its new werewolf shape. His bones began to snap and pop through the skin and back into place. As the bones began to reposition, his skin moved
Captain White was suspended in the air by an unseen force. The unseen force had him on his throat and he gasped for air desperately. Lucas moved at an accelerated speed toward his father. He moved faster than the eyes could see. Whatever that is suspending his father in the air won’t let him be if he didn’t act. On reaching his father, he stretched his hand to take hold of his father’s hand. He was more than 19ft above the ground level. There’s no way Lucas could get to him. He propels himself into the air and allowed himself to be pulled into flight. It was too late for him to get to his faster – the invisible force was acting ahead of him. His father vanished into thin air. Lucas crashed and landed on a tombstone. His face became distorted with rage. He sprang back to his feet and began scanning around with his eyes desperately. “Show yourself and fight me!” he roared. A weird unseen force flings Lucas th
