Third Person's POV Tamara reaches her Pack. She crossed the border before either Vladimir or Dean could get ahold of her. Both were chasing her, but she was too clever for them. She knows they know that she uses the trees to move around in. That is why she made for her border immediately, knowing that the gypsies were protecting their Pack and nobody could chase her once she was over the border as they would lose their scent. She is relieved to escape the two men who look like they are fighting about her. Not that you will ever be with any one of them. Tamara has also noticed that there are a lot of humans and hunters around their area. She does not know what they are doing there, but she knows they are protected and will not be found by the humans or the hunters. Perhaps she can ask the gypsies. They know everything that is going on in this area. Tamara knows that her Pack is safe. And as long as the Pack is safe, she is happy. Her Pack has grown over the last few weeks. More wolve
Third Person's POVDean and Martin are so stunned after hearing the whole story. They walk to Dean's office and know that it is only one thing they can do. They need to return Maureen to the vampires. Martin is sad that he will also lose his mother, but he knows his mother has done wrong. His parents have never loved him as much as they loved Maureen. Martin loves his sister but knows she is not part of his family. He'll also know she has been very catty and full of herself. Not many werewolves liked her, but I always wanted to be friends with her because she was popular. They never thought of her as being a vampire. And since she grew up with the werewolves, she smelled like a werewolf. Everybody always thought that she was different. No one wanted to say it because she was the beta's daughter. Many older people were gossiping and saying she was not a werewolf. Of course, they did not say it out loud. They only whisper amongst each other. No one wanted to upset Alpha Dean. I knew tha
Tamara's POV I am not here to play games with these two men. They make a big mistake if they think I will let them play me as their mate. I am only here to talk about business. We have to get rid of the hunters and the humans in our area and the lab I just learned about from the gypsies. Dean and Vladimir do not look very happy about me, telling them I am unwilling to talk to them about being their mate. But I do not care about it at this moment. All I care about is the safety of my Pack, and I also want to protect the gypsies that have become my friends. I do not want humans to do any harm to all of the creatures in this area. So I will have to work with dumb and dumber. These two idiots have been making my life difficult. "Listen here, Lloyd and Harry, if you two idiots give me any more trouble, I will refuse to work with you," I say. "Now listen here, I am not Lloyd, and he is not Harry. I know you refer to us as dumb and dumber. Tamara, can you please show us some respect? We d
Third Person's POV Tamara stares at Dean, not knowing how to start talking to him. Dean leans against a tree, looking at his mate. He waits for her to speak, but he thinks they need to find a place to talk without the vampire possibly hearing them. Dean feels that he needs to take Tamara to a safe place, knowing she will not put her feet on the Red River Pack's ground. "We need a safe place to talk," Tamara says. She does not sound friendly, but she also does not sound as rude as always. "Where can we go?" Dean asks. "I know these woods very well. However, I think the vampire knows these woods just as well," Tamara says. "We can go and talk at my Packhouse," Dean says. He knows that Tamara will refuse even before she answers him. "Nope, I'm not going back to your Pack ever again. We will work together, but that is it. I am not joining the Pack again and will not become your Luna. The day I left, I promised never to put my feet on your grounds again, and I will not break that pr
Tamara's POV The following morning, I run to the gypsies' camp to find out what they know about the humans and hunters, and I need to find out what they know about the lab. The gypsies can look into the future with their glass balls and read one's palm. I know that I have magical powers that they hardly use. If they use it, they only use it for good and to help humans and other creatures that are children of the Moon Goddess. I know they will never betray us, and they will never go against the werewolf. They know the werewolves are the children of the Moon Goddess. As I run into the camp, Gazelle is waiting for me. She always knows when I am coming to visit, and I do not know how she knows it, but I think it is because she can see into the future. "Tamara, I expected you earlier, but you were late today. I am glad you are here, as we have problems in this area. And you know what I am talking about. I know you are worried about the original vampires and what they are really doing here
Tamara's POVGazelle and I ran back to our Pack. We know we are safe because all the other smaller Packs have already been taken out, or at least their Alpas have been taken away. Leon would have come after our Pack if he knew where we were. I know we will have to go and meet Dean and tell him what is happening. I also know that we will have to tell him where the lab is because we will have to go and scout it out. We must know how many men there are and how many hunters I have. I do not understand why the vampires want to know where the lab is. I am sure they already know where it is and do not want to tell us because they hide something from us. Maybe they want us to find it ourselves so that we can attack it. And I do not have to. I don't know what is happening here and want to find out. I wouldn't say I like that werewolves are being experimented on or maybe used to do other people's dirty work. I am baffled about everything that is going on. And I do not know why Leon, a gypsy, w
Tamara's POVI still do not know if I can believe the vampires or even if I can believe Dean. What are they all up to? Dean is trying to get me on my back to join him. And he thinks that I will become his Luna. He is making a big mistake because I will not go and live at the Red River Pack. It will only be because we all have to communicate without the humans and hunters picking up on our communication. I know that Gazelle is correct that we need another communication method and cannot use cell phones or two-way radios. Mind link is the best way for us to communicate, but it does not mean I will have to go and stay with Dean and his Pack. I will have to explain this to my Pack, as they are not fans of the Red River Pack. I am not looking forward to having this talk with you with my Pack. Miriam will also have to protect the Red River Pack, and she is unhappy about that. Miriam was part of the meeting that took place in the opening in the middle of the woods. She knows exactly what is
Dean's POVI wait for Tamara at the place we always meet. I hope she and her Pack has decided to join us. We can do with their help, and we need their magical protection. Miriam has promised to protect us, but I do not know if she has kept the promise—so far, the hunters and humans have not detected us, although we were near the lab earlier. I wanted to look around and familiarize myself with the territory around the lab before I took Tamara and her Pack with me there. I know it is very dangerous and that humans and hunters can detect us at any moment, but we must take that chance to see what is happening there. We could not get too close because they were moving around a lot around the camp, and I could not see any of the werewolves they had taken. They must keep the werewolves inside the laboratory where they are experimenting on them or using them to turn humans into super creatures. I wouldn't say I like either one of the ideas. One will never know. Maybe there are only using the
