Chapter 1: Clash at the School Office
The paintings on the School Office wall were new. The madness of a summer prairie within the two men who occupied through the ample space came through.
One at a table, one sitting on a chair in front of it —that was an almost perfect setup for an interrogation.
It was serenely silent, and those two men looked like they were silently fighting. Their stares were sharp and provoking.
The man at the table leaned his back on his chair and slightly moved the pen he was holding. "So tell me," he stared blankly at the young boy.
He has an age of a dad, more mature to look at. He has the authority of those professional types who have worked hard for themselves. His skin has this dark tone, a tan that suited his aura.
"How did you start the fire?" he continued and expressed a little anger with his voice. "Who helped you?"
That elder man was Mister Vacio, the Principal of the Aspho High. He was known for his very strict rules, and no one would dare to anger him. Nobody knows.
A moment of silence echoed loudly at the almost desolated room. Mister Vacio stared in disgust after seeing that the boy remained tedious. The boy kept his calm demeanor of a mute that won't speak any words.
He just clenched his jaws and sat properly. The way the school kept him pestered made him think he was somewhat special to them. The sore sight of the principal provoked every nerve on him, but he decided to remain calm.
"I don't start any fire!" the boy on the chair shouted. His sweated pink hair fell on his forehead in a nice, yet messy way.
He was indeed angry at Mister Vacio. Talking blatantly into a Principal —that was a very brave move that not anyone can do. You can't shout like that into anyone's School Principal.
"It wasn't done by anyone," he insisted as he felt Vacio won't believe him, "and neither do I."
He rested his right elbow at the table Mister Vacio had his hands on. He stared at him as if provoking him to do the first move.
He just waited for Mister Vacio to brutally assault him first, and get away with his previous wrongdoings. If Vacio would hurt him, he would be pardoned, and Mister Vacio would be the one who will be seen as the culprit.
But none of them tried to speak a word. A deafening dead space covered the whole room. It was eerie all of a sudden. Mister Vacio looked perpendicularly straight at the boy. Again, he tapped his pen onto the table. It created an awkward noise.
"So, there's no one starting that canteen fire…?" Mister Vacio unhesitatingly broke the ghost-quiet ambiance and tapped his pen once again. For him, it was a command for the boy to answer quickly. He was the Principal and they have to follow him.
"Yes, Mister Vacio."
A quick answer that surely gave delight to the Principal's irritated face.
But no.
Mister Vacio's face became more evident in his anger towards the boy. He scorched down and leveled the boy's eyes. Right now, they can both stare at each other in level.
If one of them can't sustain eye contact, then that one probably lost this interrogation. One of them must have been lying in here.
"Then, was it a magic that burst out instantly?" Mister Vacio's arms exclaimed something mimicking an explosion. He cannot encage his anger and his eagerness to punch the boy, but he has to control his temper. Even his teeth were grinding relentlessly.
He leaned back sophisticatedly and slightly swung his chair towards the right. It was for the boy to felt intimidated with how he maintained his grim.
Initiating a fight with a punk would be the most shameful thing he could do as a Principal, so better off not express it. This boy gave him a very hard time dealing with things like this.
Also, in his lifespan as a School Principal, there was no record of such a pesky student causing a fire because he was skipped at the line count.
That gave him an overwhelming fury over the boy in front of him who he decided to study here for free, yet all that he'd given back was a hard time!
He wanted to relieve the itchiness on his hands by scratching them all over the young face of this boy in front of him. He didn't leave any honor on him at least a little.
The boy was just staring. Not an obvious tinge of cowardice can be traced on his young and manly face. Not until the door behind him opened with a creaking, loud sound of a hinge.
The two were shocked at that immediate noise, leading the boy to appear tattered by the sudden crack of eerieness. Mister Vacio appeared calm, but his eyes were pissed off. It even added to his held-back grit.
As the door fully opened, it revealed another boy entering the room while hobbling. Standing with hesitant feet and watered face out of pressure, the boy rested his right hand on the wall and supported his almost collapsing body.
"Lucas! Have you caused trouble again?" the boy at the door said with worry, closing his eyes to regain his breath.
After heaving a sigh, he opened his eyes to felt sudden suspense. Their sights met. He was the focal point of an angry principal wanting to catch a meal, a sudden jump that gave him shivers. A cold sensation rolled from his spine up to his nape.
Seeing Mister Vacio directly staring at him in contempt, a moment of holding back appeared on the boy's face. He was the honored Mister Vacio who allowed him to study at an academy. Being discovered by him, he has to remain polite.
"Moon." Lucas, the boy sitting before Mister Vacio, murmured a slight noise.
Lucas regained his calm demeanor and whimsically turned his gaze at the Principal, whose brows were meeting with an arch. Now, his cousin was involved.
"Mister Moon Martin, please do leave the room while the Principal is counseling." Mister Vacio emphasized an abstract of his speech. His demanding and scary tone has this rich vocal fries that can be heard occasionally. His voice was crisp and more mature than the boys with him.
Moon looked at his foot that barely supported his body. His brown hair left a shadow on his pale face. He was still battling yes or no with his mind if he has to leave the room or not.
"I'm sorry, Sir," he said gloomy and sorry. His voice was of a typical teenager: not too low, not as high as a female's. But with his type of speaking, he sounded as if asking what did Lucas do. Was it huge trouble this time, or not?
But to Lucas, his gaze can be traced as silent advice. He pitied how Moon would be associated with this mess. If he could only say, "Moon, get out of this mess while you can," then he would.
On the other hand, Mister Vacio's redundant uninviting, and grim look made an impression on him. Lucas can't identify that kind of facial feature. It was mixed emotion that looked like he has no emotions at all. He narrowed his eyes trying to read those expressions.
"Moon, your cousin was such a trouble maker as always." Mister Vacio started talking, playing with his pen in his hands again. That certainty with his words —he never minced any of them and managed to talk straight as if he memorized what he has to say. "I've decided that he will be transferred into White Day High. It's near the city's vicinity. He was now expelled within all of Aspho High!"
What the—
"Why? Why did you do such a high punishment?" Lucas rapidly stood straight in front of Mister Vacio's face. His calm aura gradually turned into a hot-headed, edgy man.
What Vacio has said… It was a pitch-black among the harmony of a scattered rainbow. It was emphasized unabashedly wrong.
In retort, Mister Vacio also stood and supported his body with both of his hands resting on both the table's edges. He kept himself lowered, to level Lucas' height. No young student can degrade his years of being a renowned, strict Principal.
An intense gaze marked the two's immense anger. Lucas was trying very hard not to punch the Principal's face with his previously itching fists first. His presence alone triggered Lucas' anger issues. He wanted to eradicate him thoroughly until his sight can never be seen anymore.
Moon seemed to be furious as well, but he has to control his temper. If Lucas did something that wicked him, he has to be nice and don't do such a thing, too, especially to Mister Vacio.
But who else within this room was even trying to control their tempers? If not Lucas, it was Mister Vacio! The Principal guarded his ground. His stares were of a tiger that was cornering his prey. At any time, he can devour Lucas as a whole, without even mincing or chewing him.
With the staring contest halted midway already, Lucas' face looked more of a nice guy turned terror version, because it seemed new. His narrowed eyes were powerful. Mister Vacio's grim aura was normal and cliché. It didn't create an intimidating attack because it was his everyday look.
Moon was at obvious apprehensiveness as well, and can't help himself but to interfere. "Sir, I will go with him!" Moon gravely uttered. His face was cold and full of certainty.
With their faces still on grit, the two turn their gazes at the standing Moon from behind. Mister Vacio's face was like a bursting bomb, just like he did while staring at Lucas.
However, Lucas' previous tediousness has turned into enragement. It was like he was cursing Moon on his mind. If he wasn't required to be formal, he would have crippled his cousin right away, more of killed Mister Vacio, and ran away with it.
Mister Vacio felt that he had reached his limits! He banged his pen onto the wall, and with a loud voice full of anger, "Then go away! No one needs the two of you, neither the gods!" he inaugurated.
Lucas gave a cold laugh. He interpreted what Vacio said as hilarious. There's no God in this world.
"Doesn't need us?" His voice was domineering. It was a smoke slowly letting itself be blown away by the wind yet it can suffocate you. "The school kept us pestered in the past just to get the two of us back," he ended with a little laugh he intended to disgust Vacio.
He awkwardly looked back and turned his eyes at Mister Vacio's right shoulders. A fire started at his sleeves immediately! The smirk widened at his face. That was what he deserved: to be burnt as well just like their canteen!
Lucas' smirk declared his clear victor over the Aspho Principal. If they don't need the two of them, then, there's no sage reason for him to need them, too. He never had the need for everyone's sympathy and he has no time to settle things kindly with Mister Vacio. He has to commence things out for an end.
Mister Vacio displayed an obvious panic. How could he stop a starting fire that was set on his sleeves? He tried to shoo the fire but it doesn't wear off of him.
Luckily, it doesn't burn his skin, for it was just a little fire. It also didn't scatter, as per Lucas' consent. Moon, on the sidelines, now has gotten petrified.
"A fire?" Moon gasped, as his nervousness revved up, and began walking out of the room before he banged the door.
Trying to insult Vacio more, Lucas stepped slowly towards the Principal while maintaining the grin he used to wear after he has set his fire on him.
The Principal kept shooing the fire on his sleeves, thinking it will stop, while Lucas now rested his arms at the same position where the Principal's hands rested on earlier. He posed dominantly and scorched lower, looking up insultingly at the principal.
Now, it was him who have upper handed the cold war they were in. This delight of getting payback was a must to be felt.
"I can start a fire with great rage," Lucas tried scaring Mister Vacio and tried blowing wind at the fire on the Principal's sleeves. To his intention, it doesn't die as he stared at the Principal with a malicious smile.
Looking at Mister Vacio's helpless face, and low-key admitting to himself that he has the highest chance to win this talk, Lucas fed himself with this fuzzy feeling of being a winner. It was gratifying.
"Don't you dare make me angry again," he added as he raised his right brow, and tapped Mister Vacio's sleeves, causing the fire to burn out. That was the best irritation he thought he can cause Vacio with exerting the least effort.
Lucas moved back with his shoulders lifted and hands raised in a boastful shrug, declaring his triumph over the Principal, making his face more furious than before.
Mister Vacio looked at Lucas that wanted a payback as well, as the smoke started to appear on his shoulder after the fire on his sleeves had burned out.
While Lucas started walking away, Mister Vacio was about to explode. "I won't forget this, Blaze!" he shouted mildly, but it was held back intentionally.
Lucas stopped and turned his back. His face was blank and clueless. He doesn't want the Principal to read what he was feeling. "Blaze?" he asked rhetorically while trying his very hard to hush his laugh. He raised a brow as he talked nonchalantly, "My name is Lucas Martin."
"Don't underestimate me, Blaze Harper. I knew everything that has to be known. Either this life or the past's."
Lucas laughed about this joke as he faced back the Principal with narrowed eyes, brows arched. "Blaze Harper, huh? What a disgusting name of yours!" He added and turned his gaze at the vase on the table, and it was suddenly being set on fire!
A sudden shock resurfaced on Mister Vacio's face, but he quickly regained his dark aura. He tried to remain looking like it, not until he saw smokes near Lucas.
"But true to that name…" Lucas stared at his smoking right palm, intentionally scaring Mister Vacio, "Blaze really suited me…"
But that doesn't scare Mister Vacio anymore. It was like he was smiling with an ace on his sleeves by now. "It's you… The past you!"
Lucas stepped on tiptoe and started walking out of the room. This old man spouted nonsense already, and it was none of his business. He just grinned, and was about to open the room's door, until—
"Leave our school as soon as possible, Fire Monster!" Mister Vacio shouted as he can't help how Lucas provoked him to retaliate, instantly popping out in front of him, and held his neck by his right hand above head, lifting him to the floor.
Lucas was at evident perplexity and shock, trying to release his choke. It can't be, he has to end up the victor of this. Vacio has to admit his loss!
"How? How can you—" Lucas repeatedly tried to be freed from Mister Vacio's choke. It caused a whimper on his neck, resulting in him having a hard time breathing. "You teleported?"
He didn't want to die! He has to leave him!
Mister Vacio, not sympathizing with him at all, dropped him off instantly from his choking! Lucas fell onto the floor. With his knees bent and not being able to stand for a while, he looked up at the standing Mister Vacio.
"I'll leave this hell from now!" Lucas was up to prove that he can still win over Vacio. He felt his lips hurt after saying that, and a taste of blood reached his tongue.
Mister Vacio stared at him as he tried to stand up. This little boy had no chance with him. His years of being a Principal had practiced himself into dealing with edgy people like Lucas. He just kept his neutral face for a while.
Lucas did finally stand up and cleaned his slightly bleeding lip. He glared sharply at Mister Vacio. He opened the door, and before leaving the room and closing it back into a loud shot, he furiously retorted, "We will settle this soon…"
Chapter 2: Bus Ride to the School Yes, it was true that Lucas Martin did start the fire at Aspho High's Canteen. He was indeed a Fire Starter, but after that, he was shocked that he was able to do so. Only with the mere thought of finding out he can create a fire that can be utilized with his palms, Lucas can only felt that his world may change with this sudden revelation. Throughout his orphan life, he grew up wanting to be a good and independent man that was capable of surviving this world full of challenges. He also wanted to protect his cousin Moon, who was also an orphan at a young age just like him. If he can start a fire and use it as defenses and offenses at the time of stakes, he can protect anyone whom he treasured —Moon, at this very moment. But that wasn't what Lucas thought in the early stages of finding out what ability he has in this world where magic can
Chapter 3: Welcome to White Day High! Lucas had his feet inside the school's gateway. He stood his ground, with eyes as wide as the gateway beside him. His ecstatic feeling was so massive that his heart was pounding so fast. He stared at the whole area his eyes can ever reach. Those huge prompter monitors that posed billboards about students' achievements, were too many. Those high story buildings that were so high that they began fading away onto the clouds, unbelievable! Those students walking in and out of the scene… It was the real White Day high he used to hear. Nostalgia hit Lucas all of the sudden. He reminisced how he entered Aspho High before. If it wasn't because of Moon, he wouldn't have had any chance of entering a school, especially the renowned Aspho High. However, this school was so prestige, that for Lucas, it was more of a mansion or a kingdom than just an academy. Canopies w
Chapter 4: The Fire Class Room Slowly walking to spend his time building up the excitement that he has, Lucas held the doorknob and opened Room 3004. The feeling of an opened room that was air-conditioned greeted Lucas' nerves that left him with goosebumps. Fuzzy feeling wanted to explode and be evident with his face but he has to keep his calm demeanor present still. First impression lasts was his belief in life. As Lucas entered the room, his eyes wandered onto the empty and unbusy space, and his expectation into chaos has revved down into disgust. He stared in awe as he saw no one starting any fire. Instead, three men were there, doing nothing. Two of the three men occupying the room were just sleeping. Their sweated shirts were evident that the practice time had passed, and it was sure as hell a break time for them. They may be laying down out of exhaustion. The roo
Chapter 5: Famous Swords Woman "Miss Winter, no!" That loud shout resonated inside Lucas' ears. Seeing a small girl will be brutally assaulted by a woman, he can no longer take it. White Day High should be taught by a lesson using the Fire Starter way. Using his remote instincts and his fast retaliation, Lucas stopped the sword by grabbing it with his right hand, throwing it away from them, as he looked and gaze sharply at the woman. His reflexes were fast. Filthy student… She was out of her mind about starting this commotion… In her response, she was unmoved. Not even a single clue that she was scared was evident. They stood in the middle of the hallway, standing at the rails that were placed on the floor. Ghaile felt frightened still, as the woman ran fast and grabbed Lucas' hand, and with a quick tussle, threw him away! "
Chapter 6: Same Incident from Before It has been days since Lucas have transferred into White Day High. He started to familiarize the whole setup of the school. He can wander willfully without someone he would ask questions as to where was the Office, where were the Facilities, where was the Faculty Room… It was now lunchtime. Everyone from the school was heading in the same direction as Lucas, Moon, and Doll chatted as they walked— well, it was mainly Lucas doing the talking and two were listening to him in silence. Doll began accompanying the two of them since she was always alone. After leaving their fancy car to get to class and riding it back after, no one would dare to befriend her. Lucas started noticing that they were about to head into the canteen. He felt this sense that he didn't want to feel: nostalgia. This place… it was the same place, but in White Day, wh
Chapter 7: The Principal of White Day Lucas was called to talk. They went into the Principal's Office. Lucas was sitting just like what he did back then at Aspho High. The girl from before sat on the table. She was Principal Lyns! The whole room, the whole setup… they were quite similar. The paint of the room, the designs, the scent —Lucas has no clue why both the Principal's Office of two different schools, Aspho and White Day, would appear this similar. He was still puzzled since a canteen fire also happened at this school, the White Day High he studied on. It was a mystery why would that happen? If the Two Bastions weren't the culprit, then who would be? He just stared at how Principal Lyns laid her back comfortably on her chair. Her getup, her clothes; such eloquence… Nostalgic to think about, but here he went again for an interrogation. Before, he kept denying what
Chapter 8: A Gift from the AsphoesLucas went to his apartment and dealt with his thought overnight. He was so confused and has no one to ask for help. He didn't want to disturb Moon with handling his problems. They were cousins but that was futile and he respected his time.He became willing at joining the tournament, but now, what if his friends were there, too? And that school, that was not just a school he can neglect with a due time of less than a week. He had cherished that school ever since he was in High School. He also cherished those friends that made his Aspho years wonderful. Those years weren't just anger towards the system and anger towards Vacio. Many students were nice to him and they treat each other as family. Without Vacio in sight, it was still a reputable place.Lucas spent the night while crying, as he covered himself inside his blanket. He over cried himself and didn't know tha
Chapter 9: Those Worthy Negotiations"Blaze… Blaze Harper…"A calm voice heard to be calling Lucas. It was calmly horrifying! It was like a voice that was so deep that it started to hoarse. Not just that. It felt like it has a vocoder that added to its texture."Blaze Harper… of White D—!"In the hallway of the White Day High's ground floor.Lucas stood straight with his head bowed. Mister Vacio surely will use his power to treat people as his pets. This trick of him was widely known all over Aspho, but no one would dare to spit the truth. They had all the power to shut a single mouth."Blaze Harper, we believe that you have great potential for the upcoming tournament. We would like to re-invite you to our school."Lucas felt a sudden thud inside his chest. Were they for real? He knew Aspho High more than anyone
Chapter 44: Tainted SelectionThe group continued to shield themselves, as the loud noise was still banging at the Ground. As it came to an end, Winter released her shield, as well as Moon to his force field."So this how the Overall Skill Selection works.." Lucas noted to himself.Footsteps heard. They all looked back to witness someone going towards them.THUD! The girl that was supposed to go towards them fell onto the Ground! Lucas rushed to help her."Are you okay?!" Lucas panicked, as well as Moon and Doll. The rest of them went there to see who is that girl. The girl looked pale. She has her hip-length, blue hair. She was bruised and exhausted.----"So that Ender has the power to control others with her loud noise?" Doll asked, sitting on a boulder along with the others. The girl they met was still weak, and was still lying on their made-up bed. Moon and Ghaile were there near at her to treat her."We should check if the others were also okay.." Winter whispered."No! Let them
Chapter 43: Inside the Virtual CityThe day of the actual Overall Skill Selection came to commence. Lucas, Moon, Winter, Ghaile and Doll reside at the same spot while everyone are scattered."Only 8 Participants should be left on the Ground before we end the Selection. Those 8 will be trained and will be the part of White Day's team for the Tournament."Principal Lyns instructed the rules of the Selection. Standing in the middle of the whole city-like field. Holding a microphone, she said "It was not a one-on-one battle, nor tag battles.. It was an all-out war!""It was like what the Tournament does. Even a group of people can beat a single one if they wanted. They can hide to prevent being defeated, too.""You can be defeated anytime. You can stand again anytime you fall. But one thing is for sure.. The one who keeps standing until the end will be the one who will be selected!"Lucas listened carefully despite being nauseous yesterday. He can't sleep that night, thinking about the dan
It was four o'clock in the afternoon when I decided to go home. My Dad immediately opened up the door for me."Where did you came from?""Just there with—""What did you get with what you're doing, huh, Xia?" He was furious. How did he know?"D-Dad…""Stop what you're doing, Xia. You won't get anything out of it!" He was so angry, I couldn't stare at his eyes. "You'll just be damned there!""But, Dad...""I want you to stop! Another news about you that was related to that woman… you'll be grounded!"I no longer answered. I just nodded and went straight to my bedroom. I could understand why he was worried for me. His worry was obvious in the tone of his voice. How can I investigate further? The three suspects have been confirmed, the only one left is the latter. Who are you? Are you involved? Did you leave a trace? Why did you come back?It was hard! So many questions were in my mind until now. But how can I answer all of this when I have limited things to do?I fell asleep thinking. T
As Lucas was asleep, he was unaware that The Ender was outside the apartment. She was wandering outside, chanting a different language. It sounded like a fable or a tale. The wind blew outside the apartment, at the cliff where The Ender was walking. As she held onto the grass, she continued talking about the chants she was musing over."THE HAUNTED HOUSE"She talked. Then, she began narrating."Oh, Rosy! I was told that the house you bought was haunted," said Ariana, new friend of mine.We have moved there recently, in Ariana's town and the news that greeted me was that— there was a ghost inside our house that they said was haunted. I don't believe them. It was almost a month when we got here but there was no sighting of any ghostly thing here. The thing I was afraid of was my younger brother that was always laughing."Where did you get that hearsay? You're already a college student and that spooky stories we use to scare kids was still your thing," I said, almost laughing loudly at h
Chapter 40: Night Before the SelectionA few hours have passed since the Press Conference took place at the White Day High as well as the conversation with Lucas and Vacio. As Lucas lied on his bed, he grabbed his phone for some news he wanted to read.Bunch of onlookers are still continuing to bash him online, adding the scene he created at the meeting. Some are also blaming him for the expelling of the Two Bastions. But the cynosure of all the news article was the scene he created while brawling with Mister Vacio. That was a bad news. He didn't know what made him do that. The ruckus continued nonstop, and the stares given to him have changed, according to what he felt that time. If before, they look at him in contempt, now they were avoiding him as if they were intimidated. Lucas didn't really understand the people in this school as he covered himself with a blanket on his bed at his apartment. But what he didn’t expect was that he wasn’t punished because of the scene he made. When
Chapter 39: The Name He Was CalledLucas stood before a coffee shop that was located near the city center of White Day. Before he even got there, he realized that Mister Vacio had already arrived. He was so punctual and having some kind of stuff late wasn't his thing. One look was enough for him to recognize Vacio. In the dim light, he was sitting quietly beside a scenery window with a pot of untouched mint tea near his hand. He slightly tilted his face towards the window and looked like he was irritated. His tuxedo was buffed and it looked like his right hand was casted. Lucas didn't know what caused his hand to be like that, but he must bet it was for the public sympathy. Since all the people believed that he was the one who caused damages to Vacio, it was easy for him to rev things up by disguising as the injured one.Outside the window, there were lush broad-leaved trees that caused him to seem warmer and petty than usual. However, Lucas knew that it was just the illusion of a res
Chapter 38: How Do You Know It?Lucas continued walking out, but he was petrified when he heard that name. He didn't know if that was Vacio trying to piss him off, but it was a different voice. The words "Nice speech, Blaze Harper…" slowly resonated inside the hall as he stopped walking. He turned harshly to where it came from and saw a familiar man clapping with a smile from the far corner of the Conference Hall. He was greatly taken aback. He knew his haughty aura very well. He was not Mister Vacio.Isn't that Coach Clive? His memories of when he battled Vacio reappeared like sprouts. Was it true? Did Vacio say that Coach Clive knew all of the events from the past life he was saying? How come it was true? With all of the happenings interrupting her thoughts, Lucas recalled how Clive was overbearing and protective over him, significantly with the Null Room Incident. He cannot help his temper and walked back to the Conference Hall with an obvious anger.Everyone turned to look as he h
Chapter 37: Drenched with ColdwaterLucas stopped reading those feeds and focused on training his skills as he went back to the school. For some remaining time, the Overall Skill Selection will be held. But with that afternoon, as he was readying to practice, his Official Media channel began crowding with posts demanding that he should apologize to Mister Vacio. Apart from that were posts demanding that he should leave the White Day High as well. Lucas got tired of reading all those posts, so he locked himself inside the training room and practiced his agility once again.Once finished, Doll happened to call him and asked, "Lucas, are you okay?"Lucas tried his best to relax himself and wipe his sweat inside the training room full of fallen swords and knives, as he half-leaned on the nearly-crushed wall; his fingers trailing on the swelling wound he had gotten. He replied to Doll with a sigh, "I'm good.""Do you need any help?"He heard the concern from Doll after her reply; his lips
Chapter 36: Let's Boycott Lucas Martin! After Lucas and Principal Lyns have left each other, he started parting ways with the Principal and started to walk away. In his mind, he has to see Moon. He has been acting strange since the day of Doll's abduction. As the turned right to the next chamber, a pair of hands took him next to the wall and grabbed his arm above his head. "What do you think you're doing?"Lucas saw Zanc glaring sharply at him in anger. He took a big step forward, still holding his arm.His right wrist was held in his vice-like grip and was extremely painful to him, but his eyes were cold and trained on Zanc. This was the spot where he usually assault, since he knew he was injured with this. He doted on his brown face, his left cheek was swollen. That punch he gave him; he made sure that Zanc's face will be in this condition, blood appearing at the edge of his lips. He remembered how he laid on the floor where he fell with Maru, looking pitiful and confounded. To thin
