Chapter Three

*Alice’s POV*

I suddenly found myself in front of our room. Wait, don’t tell me that tiger used his power on me again. I scoffed and opened the door, I was almost forced to rush out again with the kind of screams which came out from my so called roommates.

“Wow Alice, I love you!” That was from Perse.

“You really treated her the way I’ve always dreamt of, you should have seen her face!” Odette said laughing.

“I hate her, she thinks she’s better than everyone else all because she’s Jove’s sister and she’s somehow close with Kingston,” Perse hissed.

“So what happened? Did Kingston punish you?” Sera asked and I scoffed.

“Not really” I sighed falling on the bed.

“He didn’t??” Perse asked, almost looking surprised.

“Yeah, he only scolded me a little, just a little bit, but trust me I wasn’t affected” I said.

“Wow, I can’t believe this. I never knew he was going to spare you, anyways I love you.” Odette said.

“Who’s Jove?” I asked.

“The guy who separated you. He’s Jupiter’s sister and Kingston's best friend.” Perse replied and I nodded.

“Is that why everyone is scared of Jupiter?” I asked curiously.

“Not just that, she has a weird power everyone is trying to avoid,” Odette said.

“What’s that?” I asked.

“Well,,she can actually absorb your powers, I mean everything. So nobody wants to get on her bad side or your powers will be gone.” Perse said and I couldn’t help but wonder if my powers are still intact.

“What’s your power anyway? Or powers?” Perse smiled.

Seraphina joined us now.

“Who preached to her?” I asked.

The girls laughed and Sera roll her eyes.

“Your power” Sera said.

“Nope, tell me yours first,” I smiled.

Odette stood up first.

“I have just two, and they are both connected.” She said

“How?” I asked.

“I will show you,” She smiled and immediately she disappeared.

“She disappeared?” I asked but Perse shook her head.

“She’s actually here but you can’t see her,” She said.

“You’re joking,” I said

But then, a hand touched me and I freaked out, I mean I can’t see anyone touching me but someone is really touching me. Now it’s my face,my hair...

“Invisibility!!” I screamed and the girls started laughing.

Odette became visible again and joined in the laughter.

“Wow, that’s some cool power, really” I said.

“So what’s the second?” I asked

“Teleportation,” She replied and sat down.

“Wow, seems everyone have that power except me” I muttered.

It all started from Seth and now Odette.

“I’m next,” Perse stood up with a grin.

I wonder the type of power she has.

“I can actually see the future,” She said and I gasped very loudly.

“Don’t freak out, right now the only future I can see is anything within a second to an hour. I’m still trying to master it well, but Master said if I focus, I can be able to see the real future, like something that is gonna happen in weeks, months, even years,” she explained and I nodded hoping she can tell me something that is gonna happen in the next two minutes.

“Actually, in the next five minutes, it will start raining.” She said with a smile.

“That will be amazing, then I will have a cold night sleep,” Odette said.

I guess they believe her already because they are used to it and right now I can’t wait for the next five minutes.

Seraphina stood up also.

“Well,” she stopped and went in, she returned with a knife and I wondered what she’s gonna do with it.

To my surprise, this crazy girl cut herself on the wrist and I gasped, but the other two girls didn’t even move. Then I noticed no blood came out.

“How did you do that?” I asked.

“Healing power, I can heal anyone also, not just myself,” She said proudly and I suddenly felt jealous.

She can help others with her power, how the hell is ice helpful to others?

Don’t misunderstand, I may be crazy but I love helping people really well.

“I have a live breath too, I breathe under water or any f**king bad condition with low oxygen,” She said.

It started raining now. Perse was right, it’s exactly five minutes since she said it was gonna rain, it’s raining really heavily right now.

The girls all smiled staring at me, obviously waiting for me. I stood up.

“Come here,” I said and walked towards the window.

I opened the window and stared at the water dropping for a while before putting my hand in the rain and immediately it turned to ice.

They gasped and exchanged glances.

“Ice!” They shouted at once and I immediately released the rain which started pouring out water again.

“What’s wrong?” I asked wondering why they screamed. Is it bad?

“Wow,,that’s crazy. We have fire already and now ice? Sounds interesting,” Odetta licked her lips and I scoffed.

“‘Can you control it with your mind without touching?” Sera asked.

“Mind?” I asked.

“Yeah. Kingston can control fire with his mind alone,” Odette said.

“I can’t do that, maybe I will learn better since I’m here now,” I said.

I didn’t tell them about my super hearing anyway, I don’t expose every little thing about myself.

The rain was really heavy, we all climbed our separate beds. I wrapped the duvet over myself and sighed. My mind went to Tiger and I wondered how many powers he really has, I remembered our little fight and I smiled before closing my eyes.

*Writer’s POV*

Kingston was still awake reading a book when suddenly he heard a knock on the door, he stood up at once and walked to the door ready to attack if it’s an enemy. He opened the door and Jupiter entered looking soaked.

Kingston stared at her from her head to her toes and then back to her face. She was soaked with water, obviously she had ran there from the rain. Even in the rain she wore a revealing clothes which became more sticky to her body as a result of the wetness.

“What are you doing here?” Kingston asked.

“I was on my way to my room, it started raining all of a sudden and your apartment is the closest,” Jupiter replied and Kingston chuckled inwardly.

She’s lying, he knew that. She came all the way here from her room, she came here on her own free will, that’s it.

“So you’re here because of the rain? Kingston asked and she nodded.

“I can make the rain stop,” Kingston said walking towards the window.

“No” Jupiter ran afer him and hugged him from the back, confirming his suspicions that she really came on her own.

“What do you want, Jupiter?” Kingston asked.

“You, I want you,” Jupiter said, still not leaving him.

Kingston held her hands and dropped it, then he turned to face her.

“You’re Jove’s sister, you’re just like my sister too."

“I’m tired of hearing this Kingston, just because my brother is your best friend doesn’t make me your sister. Am I not sexy enough? Just once...” She started touching him seductively.

Kingston pulled her against the wall and crashed his lips on hers, she smiled and moved into him even more eating his lips hungrily. Kingston grabbed her tiny waist and pulled her impossibly closer, not leaving her lips, light moans coming from her. Just his kisses were enough to make her wet, she wanted him so badly that it was becoming too much to even hold in.

She moved her hand down to his trouser and started loosing his belt but Kingston held her hand and she broke the kiss.

“Don’t” He said.

“But,”

Kingston kissed her again, shortly this time around, before moving away.

“You can go, the rain has stopped already,” he said

“Kingston...” she started, but was cut short.

“Don’t make me repeat myself,” he snapped.

She immediately opened the door, she knew the implications of disobeying him, she wouldn’t wanna lose her life.

Kingston let out a silly smirk and went into the bathroom.

Next Day

*Alice’s POV*

“Ice, Ice,” The hand continue tapping me and I opened my eyes, I can’t believe it’s morning already.

“Morning Ice” Odette grinned to my face and I rolled my eyes.

“It’s Alice,” I corrected and got down from the bed.

“I know, from now on I’m gonna call you Ice, take it or leave it” She smirked.

“You get that?” Persephone winked from her bed, she’s making up.

I noticed they are all dressed already.

“You are wicked, how could you wake me up after getting dressed?” I frowned.

“We tried waking you up trust me, but I guess you were really tired,” Perse said and I nodded.

I agree I am tired.

That ugly Jupiter and Mr Tiger are to be blamed.

“Are you all gonna wait for me? I don’t know the way to class” I said.

“Yeah, we still have 30minutes left, so take your time,” Odette said.

I walked out of the room and entered the dressing room, I searched for something comfortable. A short mini skirt, a tight one to be precise, maybe it’s not comfortable for other girls but it is for me. I brought out a crop top shirt, I love crop tops like hell.

Wait, do I like hell? Honestly I don’t know, I heard good girls go to Heaven, but I am not in anyway close to being a good girl, anyhow.

I took off my nightwear and entered the bathroom. After taking my bath, I got dressed and untied my hair, making it fall helplessly across my shoulder.

I checked myself out in the mirror and smirked. Oh sexy Alice, you will be the end of some boys, I smirked before going out of the room.

The girls gasped the moment I entered and I stopped.

“What happened?” I asked

“Baby is hot,” Odette complimented and I smiled.

“Thanks” I said.

“You look pretty, honestly I’m jealous,” Perse said.

“You all are pretty too, let’s go,” I smiled.

Sera was already opening the door and we all left the room, Odette locked the door and we started walking.

"Wow, she’s so hot!"

"That waist, damn!"

"I heard her name is Alice."

"It’s the crazy girl who fought with Jupiter last night."

"She’s pretty."

I didn’t react as I heard those blabbers I don’t count as compliments, they don’t have to scream it out to my face, I know I’m pretty. Gross, call me rude or anything, I don’t care

“I guess you’re the new queen,” Perse said and I turned.

“Was there an old queen?” I asked.

“Yeah, isn’t it obvious? Jupiter.” Odette rolled her eyes and I shifted.

“I heard my name, but it sounded like it’s from an animal,” a voice said and we all turned forward, to the direction of the voice.

It’s Jupiter and two other girls by her sides.

“Wow, seriously? You must have been f**king around with animals to know their sounds when they call your name,” I said and the two girls beside her gasped.

What are they? Followers?

“Are you crazy?!” Jupiter yelled

“Stop shouting,,it doesn’t fit your pretty face,” Odette said and I shot her a funny glare.

“Ugly face, you mean?” I snapped.

“Oh sorry, I mean ugly face,” Odette said and I smiled before facing Jupiter.

If only looks could kill, I would have been seven feet down the earth by now but who cares.

“So, if you would excuse me” I said passing through their middle almost making them fall.

I turned to Jupiter, smirked at her and flaunted my hair, making sure it hit her face before walking away.

Once again I heard the students murmurs. Urgh, can’t they keep quiet for once?!!

“Wow, Ice that was hot. Until now,I’ve been scared to even look at her face, but now I just feel like she’s nothing,” Odette said and I smiled.

“I can’t be scared of a girl like me, it makes me wanna puke.” I said. I heard Seraphina chuckle and strangely I chuckled too.

“It’s our class” Perse said and we entered a class, I almost ran back when someone blew some balloons in the air.

“Let’s welcome the newbie, Alice!!!” A boy suddenly shouted and the whole class started screaming out my name.

Okay now, what is this again?

“Thank you, thank you” I said hoping they will stop and thankfully, they did.

“It’s nice meeting you all” I said and immediately followed Odette, she already told me no one is sitting beside her for now.

I could feel many eyes on me even as I sat down, I groaned and shook my head. Now what?!

Soon, a teacher came in and I was so happy, at least I won’t be their center of attention anymore. For now.

I started looking around, maybe I’m going to see Tiger but he was nowhere.

“Are you looking for Kingston?” Odette whispered.

I didn’t reply but I guess she knew.

“He doesn’t need to come here,” she said.

Oh yeah right, he knows his powers perfectly already, not like me.

Soon, Jupiter came in with her two followers. We exchanged eye contact and I noticed her smirk at me. I knew she was up to something so I raised my middle finger up and returned the smirk.

You are messing with the wrong person, I thought to myself.

I turned to the teacher and started listening, I need to learn my powers and master them well if i want to survive in here. I don't need anyone to tell me, I know I’m gonna have enemies soon, of course, but I’m not the soft type too.

I’m not a Cinderella. Nope.

*Writer’s POV*

“You’ve been smiling, can you at least tell me what’s going on?” Jove asked but Kingston only continued smiling while rubbing his lips.

He saw the scene earlier- between Jupiter and the witch. He suddenly laughed out and Jove couldn’t believe his ears and eyes, did he just laugh out loud? Or could he possibly be going crazy?

“That witch...” Kingston muttered.

“Witch?” Jove asked.

“She’s really crazier than I thought,” Kingston added.

“I’m confused,” Jove groaned.

Kingston suddenly checked the time.

“Everyone is in class right now, right?” He asked.

“Yeah?”

Kingston stood up.

“Where are you going?” Jove asked and also stood up.

“Class,” Kingston replied.
