Chapter Six

*MASTER ZUNG OFFICE*

Kingston entered the office through the door even though the door was locked.

Master Zung looked up and Kingston smirked at him.

“Are you scared of me now?” He asked before sitting down.

“No I’m not,” Master Zung chuckled.

“Why did you lock your door?” Kingston asked.

“I was performing some deadly...”

“Okay okay okay, that’s enough,” Kingston cut him off and he let out a smile.

“So, why are you here?” He asked.

“Was the old witch here recently?” Kingston asked.

“No, why?”

“Don’t lie to me, I could feel her dark magic all over the institute just few minutes ago,” Kingston said and Master Zung cleared his throat.

Kingston smiled and shifted his seat closer.

“That was the reason why you locked the door right? And I am sure she left just the moment I was about coming in,” Kingston said.

“I’m sorry,” Master Zung said.

“Why was she here?” Kingston asked.

“Because of you,” He replied and Kingston scoffed.

Kingston folded his fist angrily.

“She meant no harm, seriously. She wanted me to convince you to...”

“Attend the fucking feast for her own benefits not mine,” Kingston snapped. “I guess she’s trying to refresh her immoral self again, she’s trying to find out If I have a girlfriend yet right?” Kingston said.

“Do you really believe your mom is the one behind their deaths?” Master Zung asked.

Kingston stood up.

“If she comes to me, I won’t mind if she’s indestructible, I will kill her with my two hands,” Kingston said and left the office the same way he came in.

*Alice’s POV*

At this rate, my head should be spinning already. I can’t believe I’ve finished two books already, I collapsed on the floor feeling really tired. My thoughts were filled with what I read in the books, what if I have more powers i don’t even know about?

Wait, Tiger is really powerful. I’m sure he knows the powers I have, he’s just trying to make me find it out myself, but how should I do that?

I was still thinking when the door suddenly opened and he came in looking like he fought with someone. He’s really angry but the moment he looked at me, he smirked and his angry face changed. What the hell is he?

“A tiger, hot one,” He said and I looked away.

Why do I keep forgetting that he can read my thoughts.

“But it’s unfair, you can’t keep on reading my mind against my wish,” I pouted.

“Really?”

I nodded.

“I can’t even think naughtily anymore,” I said without thinking.

“Naughtily?” He asked and my eyes widened.

“No, I don’t mean that, gosh!” I roughed my hair.

“Will you go out with me?” He suddenly asked and I looked up at once.

“We are going out?” I asked.

“I’m not forcing you, I just think it must be boring reading all day,” He said and took off his top at once.

This is the second time I’m fucking seeing his bare chest, those abs. Damn!

Stop thinking Alice!

He smirked at me and I quickly looked away.

Can he just stop smirking already? It’s giving me some shits to think about.

He went into another room and he came back wearing something else.

“So, are you going or not?” He asked taking a key.

Is that a car key?

I immediately stood up.

“But, I thought we are not allowed to go out,” I said.

“If you go with me, no one will question you, okay?” He said and I smiled.

“Do I need to change my dress?” I asked.

“No, not like it’s a date or something, and stop dreaming. It won’t happen, let’s go,” He said and I rolled my eyes.

Must he say that out? Who said I want to date him? I will rather date Jove.

“Who is Jove?” He faced me and I moved back.

“Jove?” I asked ignorantly.

“You said you will rather date Jove.”

“I never said that, and you have no right to invade my private thoughts,” I snapped.

“Seriously?” He chuckled and I frowned.

I thought he’s angry, why is he smiling now?

“You think Jove likes you or something?” He asked.

“I don’t mind,” I scoffed.

“You don’t mind? Okay, just follow me and don’t say a word,” He said and went out. I followed him.

We met those two guys outside and to my surprise, they didn’t even look at me, they turned their faces somewhere else; now something is fishy.

We walked out and I could see some eyes all over me and I am sure they are going to gossip too, can’t they mind their business?

I ran after Tiger.

“Where are we going?” I asked.

“Don’t worry, I’m not going to kill you,” he said as we entered the car.

I nodded and immediately he zoomed off, the gate keeper opened without any interrogation.

Wow, isn’t this amazing?

Finally, I’m going out!

“I guess you’re happy,” He said.

“Yes I am really happy,” I replied staring out of the car feeling the cool breeze.

I wish I can talk to mom right now, I sighed sadly. I really miss her.

“Here” I heard his voice and I faced him. He’s giving me his phone

“What?” I asked.

“Call your mom, you have just five minutes,” He said and a wide grin came from me.

“Really?! Thank you, thank you, I won’t forget this, I won’t call you Tiger anymore,” I rushed my words and took the phone from him.

I dialed mom’s number immediately.

When we returned to the institute, it was late already. We didn’t really have fun like I was expecting, I guess he just had a lot of things on his head to cool off, but I ate, don’t forget I’m a foodie. Still I love that I went out at least.

“Goodnight,” I said as we got out of the car.

He didn’t reply, he simply walked away.

“He should at least give an answer,” I muttered and turned toward the hostel also running off.

I guess my roommates were all tired because they were asleep already when I entered, I locked the door gently and changed into my nightie before climbing the bed and sleep took over immediately.

“Ice, Ice” The voice called.

“Is it morning?” I asked.

“Yeah”

I opened my eyes to see Persephone smiling at me and I moved back.

“Where’s Odette?” I asked and she rolled her eyes.

“Can’t believe this,” She scoffed and I chuckled.

“I’m here,” Odette came out, she dressed like she’s going to work out, that was when I noticed Persephone and Seraphina too.

What’s happening today?

“You should get up and dress too, we have a training today,” Odette said.

“What training?” I asked

“You will see when you get there, but the three of us are in the archery section if you would like to join,” Odette said.

“I don’t know how to shoot an arrow,” I shook my head.

“We also learnt everything when we got here,” Seraphina scoffed.

I stood up and went to change also, I wore a sport bra and a slim leggings and sneakers. I brushed my teeth and washed my face, after that,I went out.

“Must you be sexy every single time?” Perse said jokingly and I groaned.

“She’s not lying, I’m sure Jupiter is gonna eat you raw when she sees you,” Seraphina added.

“She’s in the same place with us?” I asked and they nodded.

Seriously I don’t want to be engaged with her anymore, it’s already annoying that Tiger always support her.

“It’s okay, let’s go,” I sighed and packed my hair as we walked out of the room.

We finally got to where the training is taking place and I wowed, everyone here is holding arrows in their hands, some are shooting already, some are competing.

My friends, yeah now I can call them friends, they also took their bows with a pack of arrows each, Odette gave me one too but I don’t even know how to hold it. They laughed at me and started shooting.

I was watching and clapping my hands for them until Jupiter moved closer to me eyeing me angrily.

“If you are going to be useless, just get lost already,” She snapped.

“Do you really see me as your rival?” I asked.

Odette and others stopped shooting already and watched the scene.

“What?” Jupiter asked.

“I mean, it’s always you who come to me, you must feel oppressed just by my existence alone, and you know what? It’s not my fault that I am sexy, I took after my mom,” I said proudly and she scoffed.

“Sexy, my foot!” She hissed amd walked away.

“She has a problem, honestly,” Persephone commented and they all started shooting again.

I sighed and took one of the arrows too trying to point at the target but seems like my hands are shaking, it’s more harder than I thought.

Suddenly I started hearing murmurs and before I could turn to see what’s happening, I felt a hand around my waist and I almost froze.

“You should stand properly like this,” The voice said.

It was Tiger!

“You promised not to call me Tiger again, you witch,” He snapped and I smiled.

He moved from my back and held my hand.

“Try to release it a little bit also,” He said and I nodded.

“Try it out,” He said and I shot the arrow at once.

“Oh my, I got two points!” I screamed and he scoffed.

“It’s my first time, you should say something nice to me,” I muttered.

“You tried,” He was still speaking when that bitch appeared again.

She glared at me and then faced Kingston.

“Kingston, can you come with me? I think I’m having a little problem with mine also,” She said grabbing Kingston's hand and the Tiger also wanted to follow her but then I held his hand too.

“What are you doing?” Jupiter snapped at me.

“You obviously know how to do this but I don’t even know anything about it so get lost with your fake attitude,” I said and threw her hands off from Kingston’s hand.

The Tiger seemed to be enjoying the show because he was smiling.

“What do you mean? Are you crazy or something?” She yelled and moved closer to me.

I also moved closer to her ready to return the slap she gave me the other day, I can’t forget that, seriously.

“Just fucking get lost!” She yelled.

“Get lost too bitch,” I shouted back.

Jupiter raised her hand to slap me but I held her hand and slapped her twice, the students gasped.

“How dare you!” She yelled again.

Isn’t she tired of screaming?

She grabbed my hair, I grabbed hers too, ready to teach her a great lesson but then I felt someone carry me.

“Drop me! I’m going to kill her!” I screamed throwing my legs in the air as the person carried me out of the training room.

“Hey! Who are you!” I screamed.

“Shut up,” the voice said calmly.

Wait, it’s Tiger. Did he really... Am I dreaming right now? He was carrying me on his shoulder as we got to his apartment and entered his room. He finally dropped me, my hair was scattered all over my face as I glared at him angrily. He chuckled.

“What’s funny?” I asked.

“You look like a witch,” he said pointing to my hair.

I tried arranging it but he held my hand and we both sat down on the bed.

He started brushing my hair with his fingers.

“How many powers do you have?” I blurted out and he stopped, his eyes were digging into me.

“You can’t count,” He simply said.

“Tell me one,” I said.

“I have a lot of naughty powers,” He smirked.

“naughty?” I frowned and he nodded.

He pulled me up from the bed and made me sit on his lap.

“What’s the power?” I managed to ask.

“It’s quite naughty,,” He said and leaned closer to my ear.

“Like, right now, I can see the type and color of underwears you’re putting on,” He whispered and I froze.
