Alisha's POV

I'm met at the gate by an armed guard who escorts me inside the Embassy, I'm taken to a waiting area and instructed to stay until someone comes and gets me. There are other people in the room waiting to be seen, they are dressed in their best and I sit here looking like some homeless person fresh off the street. I know some are straight out staring at me as other just glance my way. I just sit watching the closed door waiting for my turn ignoring the others in the room. I had other things more important to worry about than what stupid people think.

My wolf is still repressed some but I can sense that I'm the only shifter in the room, the guard who walked me in was a shifter so I'm confident he picked up on my wolf. I know I was covered in the scent of the males who were in the backseat with me, but my own stink was strong enough to ride above it.
