Chapter 35

Alisha's POV

Pressed in between two of the men in the backseat as we raced down the road heading out of town I finally was able to relax a little. I twisted my neck to look back but wasn't able to see what was going on with the now very pissed off shifter. I knew he was holding back when the three guys were pushing and shoving him trying to make him let go of me. When one of the guys punched him in the face a few times his eyes went black and I got scared there for a minute. I got to admit he had a lot of self control at that moment, but with only one hand free and the other attempting to hold on my wiggly body he couldn't do much to defend his self.

I was just lucky it turned out like it did. If he had been able to mind link the others and had more males with him , I'd be sitting in a cell right now waiting for some kind of punishment instead of barreling down the road out of town.
