The silence in the room is defining in a heavy way that has me on edge as I wait for him to process what I’ve just told him.

Again he starts pacing the room then abruptly stops and looks at me with a sheen to his eyes “You gave up your ability to have more pups to come back to us” I nod “Baby” he kneels before me, capturing my lips with his in a soft tender kiss. “I love you” he whispers.

“I love you too” I tell him and return the tender kiss “But I have one more thing I want to talk to you about” I tell him.

“Okay” he says with a tip of his head.

“I want them to stay and I want to make then ours” he blinks slowly at me. “if you don’t want to that fine its just that they are happy here and its nice having a house full of laughter and pups” a small smile tugs on his lips and I hear Nira and Cole purr.

“Having more pups in the house means we will have more alone time because the older ones can watch the little ones” he wiggles his eyebrows and I roll my eyes.

“leave it to you to
