Virgin And Innocent

“Hey! What are you doing?!” Lucifer pushed me down the bed and started to unbutton my clothes.

“I said stop!” He acted like he’s not hearing me and continue on caressing my neck.

To be honest, I kinda liked the way he touched me. It was so gentle that I couldn’t even resist. But I was still a virgin and I don’t wanna give up myself by just like that. We’re still strangers, I don’t have any idea about his true intentions.

My eyes gradually widened as I felt his hands slowly touching my front bottom. His breathing came closer towards my lips and I can’t handle the tension anymore.

“I said stop, you idiot!” I pushed him away using my force and he accidentally fell down on the floor.

He stood up wearing a cold expression onto his face and I was scared that he might use his power and force me to make love with him.

“No! Don’t do it!” I quickly grabbed the blanket then eventually covered my body. I just trembled and closed my eyes.

“Emerald....” Lucifer slowly remove his black coat and went towards me. I was shooked when he grasped my back and hugged me tight.

“I’m sorry if I scared you. Maybe right now is not the right time to do it. But I really want to do it with you and only with you, Emerald. I’ll let it pass as of now. Let’s continue the wedding celebration and eat the food they prepared inside the lounge.” He held my hand and asked me to get up.

I gently exhaled and relaxed myself after I got to heard his lowered voice. I stood up then we both eat alone together inside the lounge.

A huge table shocked my sight and there are countless food on it. I sat down in front of Lucifer then tried to taste the food he offered. It was so disappointing since the taste was awful. Actually, it doesn’t have a taste anymore.

“How is it?” He interrogated.

I bitterly smiled and asked if they added salt or seasonings in it. But Lucifer seems like he doesn’t have any idea about salt or seasonings either. I touched my face with full disappointment.

“In our world, pouring seasonings and spices in our food is a must,” I explained.

“But you’re dead and now living in hell with me,  Emerald,” Lucifer frankly responded.

“I just can’t accept it! As your wife I must cook you some tasty and delicious food!” I tapped the table and stared at him.

“Okay. There’s a forest where you could get the seasonings you said,” he admitted. I asked him about the exact location but he just looked at me again with his cold face.

“You cannot go there. It was forbidden,” Lucifer added.

“B-But why not?!”

“Just listen to what I’ve said. You are not allowed to go there.” He put down the cup of tea he’s drinking then leave me alone in the lounge.

“What’s wrong with him?” I murmured.

It’s already time for me to rest and when I went inside the room, I saw Lucifer reading a book in the terrace. The curtains almost covered the view onto his alluring face but I like how the wind made his long dark hair gleamed and dance.

“He looks like an angel….” I secretly admired him.

I observed that he became colder that night right after I resisted to make love with him. I want to talk to him but something’s stopping me from doing to it or maybe I was just shy.

But I just can’t bare not to talk to him and I don’t know why. That moment, I nervously walked towards him and tried to make some conversation.

“H-Hi, you’re still not going to sleep?” My sweat condensed from my forehead and I know Lucifer noticed that my fingers are shaking.

“If you’re still going to make me let you go to that forbidden forest, it’s a no.”

“I just want to-“

“No. Go back to bed and sleep now, Emerald. A no is a no.” He pointed his fingers towards our bed room and angrily ordered me to sleep.

I was offended by his actions, so I decided to disobey his orders. Without his knowledge, I secretly  sneaked out of the room and traveled towards the forbidden forest. I wore a thick black coat since it was cold outside.

“That Lucifer, he acted selfishly towards me. What’s wrong with him?! Am I the problem?” I asked myself.

Using a wooden fire, I lightened up the place. Since I’m the demon king’s bride, all the creatures are not hurting me. So I kinda feel confident to went through the forbidden forest.

After a long walk, I finally got to reached my destination. The forest was healthy and it has life. I could see different kinds of flowers and remedy. I looked around and I’m so satisfied about the environment itself.

“I’m right to disobeyed his orders. I’m sure he was just trying to fool me by saying that this forest was forbidden.” I collected all the fruits and spices that I could found in the forest and put it inside the basket.

After a while, I heard a silent voice nearby. It was anonymous and it seems like this creature needs help. That moment, I remembered that I was in hell and there’s still a lot of demons around. And most of them are Lucifer’s enemy. I trembled as I got to realized that I should’ve obey him at the first place.

“No way… there’s a demon near me.”  I looked around and quietly observed.

I stopped moving for a while and realized that the demon went closer and closer towards me. I was nervous and scared already. I could sense my death and the danger beside me.

“L-Lucifer…” I sighed.

The tears slowly condense inside my eyes. But I know that no one’s going to protect me that time. So I slapped my face and strengthen myself. 

Finally, I heard the anonymous voice behind the green bushes. He was suffering and asking for help but something’s weird.

“A-Are you okay? Do you need help?”  I walked towards him and I got to viewed his demonic horns so I gradually stepped back.

“D-Demon?”

“I’m hungry… I want some food! I’m going to die with this intense hunger within me… Help!” He strangled his stomach and laid down on the ground.

“Here, grab this.” I tried to gave him a piece of apple but he arrogantly grasped it in my hand and I ended up having a bleeding scar because of him.

“That smell… human?!” He panicked and stood up towards me. I stepped back with fear as I slowly noticed that he’s now focusing on me.

“I’ve been waiting for someone like you, human. I bet your blood tastes like heaven.” He licked his fingers with my blood and deeply stared at me.

Afterwards, he transformed into a giant snake and I got goosebumps when he did something to me.
