Levi's POV Continued

After I was done speaking with him, I could see that what all had happened had basically drained the life out of him. From the looks of it, his wolf let him feel everything while sitting back and watching him go through what he put their mate through.

I decided to call on that Omega again, knowing that someone needed to bring him some clothes, food and water. I didn't want to let anyone else know about that room so I told her she could bring him the necessities then leave immediately afterwards.

She obliged but I could hear reluctance in her tone at the same time. Maybe after everything that happened she actually does feel a twinge of guilt for allowing the things that happened, happen. Or I could be trying to find the best in a shit situation, nonetheless she was the one that was going to tend to him considering.

I needed to be up and performing my Alpha Heir duties so me stating down there to nurse an asshole wasn't exactly in the cards, not that I wanted to ca

Dahlia's POV I stood there, standing next to Damien as he held the phone to his ear. There were no voices coming through the other end, just shallow breathing along with muffled footsteps.Damiens eyes were hard as he looked away from me, you could tell he was listening intently to every sound he could hear through the line until he looked over at me again. His eyes softened as his lips turned up into a small smile as he moved the phone from his ear."Are you sure this is safe for you to do?""There is no one in this world I trust more than him."He sighed, his tension he had been holding onto left his shoulders as they visibly dropped as he held the phone out to me.I looked at the phone, taking it as my hand shook before I looked up at him."I'll give you a bit of privacy. Alexi and I will be right here in your old room if you need me, but I will be leaving the door open alright."I nodded to him as I put the phone to my ear."Levi?"Nothing, just a small, what sounded like a gasp,

  • Fated to the Enemy   47 Saying goodbye

Dahlia's POV Continued He walked slowly to me from the fireplace. His steps seemed calculated as he made his way towards me. When he reached me, his body towering over mine when a smile took his features as he held his hand towards me so I could hand the phone to him. When I handed it to him he leaned down then kissed my head before bringing it to his ear."I'm going to text you a number, it's to a girl here that Dahlia has taken as a friend. Her name is Rose."My eyes went wide as he spoke. Intently I watched as his eyes sat locked with my own."She is fully trustworthy and you can text her when you need Dahlia to call you. You need to get yourself a phone that cannot be traced, one your pack will not know of. Can you do this?" There was a silent moment that made my heart start to race. As if he knew that I was feeling a bit anxious he wrapped his free arm around me, pulling me into his chest. I laid my head onto him and his own heart beat helped calm my own."Yes, that sounds good

  • Fated to the Enemy   48 Her touch

Alpha Damien's POV When she cried into my chest I could feel how torn she was about everything. Missing and wanting to keep her brother close while at the same time she didn't want to leave. If things were different, if our packs were allies, we would have found one another as mates and she still would have had to leave her pack. Yet, she still could hold a relationship with hers without having to hide away with no one knowing where she was.Her brother could visit, or she could travel home. Considering how close our territories are, she would have been able to go back and forth on a regular basis without issue after dealing with any Luna duties she may partake in.Instead she is trapped with the knowledge that she can't have that, instead she has to wait to see what happens when her brother takes control of her pack. Yet I worry that if her father does know that she is here, he may not let Alpha Heir Levi take that spot with the fear that he will change things between our packs.I c

  • Fated to the Enemy   49 Falling

Alpha Damien's POV Continued The way she swirled her tongue around the head of my cock was overwhelming my senses, but once she pulled it completely into her mouth then slid down over my shaft as her hand stroked me at the same time.I felt my eyes roll back in my head as my fingers slipped into her hair, gripping her tightly that I made her gasp, her lips lifting off of me momentarily before wrapping back around me.I didn't want to be rough with her so I forced myself not to buck my hips up into her or shove her head down but when she reached up to my wrist with her free hand, grabbing it tightly as she indicated to me to push against her I did until I hit the back of her throat making her gag.She didn't stop though, no, she kept going, suckking harder and faster. She continued stroking me when her thumb started caressing my balls forcing a lewd moan from me while I felt everything begin to tighten. I was so close but when I went to pull her head back she shoved my hands away befo

  • Fated to the Enemy   50 Breaking

Dahlia's POV Everything about being with him was intoxicating to me. The feel of his body pressing into mine, or the knowledge that he had said he was falling for me.Not just because of the mate bond, but true actual feelings. my heart swelled in that moment because I already knew deep down that I hit the ledge and tipped over it the moment he looked down at me, phone in hand, my brother on the other line. Now this, this perfect moment suspended in time with him buried deep inside me. It didn't feel like last night, it felt so much more intimate. Last night was fantastic but it held a ton of nervous energy at the same time, but not this time. This time I felt my entire body tingle as he would look at me. The way his hands touched me, the sparks that ran throughout my body were even more intense than before, which I honestly didn't think could get much stronger. It felt like I was floating on a cloud when he told me to cum on him. Our eyes locked as he thrusted harder, deeper, inside

  • Fated to the Enemy   51 The Truth

Dahlia's POV Continued Mikko was front and center as he pulled their head back to look down at my naked frame. A grunt of what sounded like approval left his lips in a sort of grumble that vibrated through my body making my nipples harden as goosebumps raised across my skin."Ours."His voice was gruff, full of want as he roamed his eyes over us before pushing my hair back from my shoulder to reveal the spot where they would mark me.My nerves were sitting on end as Alanah told me to tell him to 'Bring back Damien, he can't mark us like this.'So I did just that, I told him that he needed to let Damien have control again because he can't mark me like this but he didn't listen, instead he growled deeply before we suddenly were shifted. His body was hovering over mine as I laid flat on the bed.The movement was so fast it almost knocked the wind completely out of me. The tingles that spread as his claws came out to slide up my soft flesh made my heart skip. The feeling was terrifying y

  • Fated to the Enemy   52 Alpha Knight

Alpha Knight's POV "WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU!""Dad...""NO! You will not speak unless I address you! Do you understand me Levi!Look at this lump, writhing on the ground screaming out in pain like a little girl."I leaned down to this dumbass that was laying on the ground yelling and grunting as his wolf kept trying to half shift as the pain he felt from my stupid daughter sleeping with someone."You should have accepted her rejection, you fool."I could hear my tone, low and annoyed as I watched him curl into a ball on the floor. I still can't believe this is happening. They didn't even mark one another and she barely felt his infidelity yet here he is acting as if he's being ripped into two. Not like he ever loved her anyway, even after the mate bond snapped into place. He came to me, begging to not have to be with her but I knew it was what was necessary for her to never be able to claim her birthright. No way I would ever let some stupid girl take over as Alpha of everyt

  • Fated to the Enemy   53 Anger

Alpha Heir Levi's POV Standing there as I watched the way my father circled around Christopher as if he was a lion rounding his weakened prey.It was despicable, but I knew what he wanted from me. He wanted me to stand here, to watch, to witness, but not react. He was saying all these things about how stupid Chris was, how my sister was a whore. Basically he wanted to get a rise out of me.What he was truly aiming for was to see my loyalty. He wanted me to take it all, stand here saying nothing like an orientation little lap dog that knows his place. His words made my blood boil, the way he would speak about his own daughter was truly sickening. What kind of parent can say these kinds of things about their own flesh and blood is beyond me.But I say nothing, no, I just stand here watching as he knelt down to Christopher before telling him to accept my sister's rejection. I'm unsure if something like that can even work without her here but I could see it. The way his eyes changed afte

  • Fated to the Enemy   109

Dahlia's POV Continued Once I left my brother alone with Rose I walked through the hall leading to the stairs before stopping. Everything has changed so much for me in what feels like a blink of an eye. I looked up the next set of stairs to where my room sat before turning to look down the other set of stairs where the front doors sat leading outside and into the woods where Damien found me. Little pieces of memories flashed through my mind of that day. The way I felt lost and scared honestly. How I managed to escape my wedding just to venture too far out of my own territory and into that, if what I believed at the time to be enemy territory. I'll never forget the way his eyes darkened when he looked down at me. Or how I swore I should fear him yet instead was intrigued by the man looming so dangerously over me. It's crazy to me to think about the fact that he knew I was meant to be his yet I didn't. How it could have felt to stand in front of your second chance mate only for

  • Fated to the Enemy   108

Dahlia's POV Continued "Oh my sweet Rose, he had to. He didn't leave you. He needed to bring back the warriors from his pack. He's Alpha now and has no choice." I held her out from me so she would hopefully look at me, which she shakily did. "He was absolutely torn apart having to leave here. He didn't want to until you had time and chose to see or speak with him. He is broken right now." She sniffed then wiped her face with the sleeve of her shirt. Her eyes swirled making it so I could finally see a bit of her wolf sitting there. "Broken?" I sighed, my head tilting to the side as I nodded with a small tip of my lips. I actually felt a bit relieved by the way she was acting. She was scared about this entire situation, but I can see she wants him still. She's curious about him and now I can see that her wolf is as well. They haven't shut put the idea of him. I don't want her to live in fear, but my brother would never hurt her. The thought of him getting rejected b

  • Fated to the Enemy   107

Dahlia's POV "So you have decided to take Nico as what then Levi?" "As my new Delta. Honestly, I have no idea who to choose for my Beta. You are the only person I have ever trusted to that level before. Everything was planned out for such a long time that I have no idea where to truly go from here now." I wrapped my arms around my brother, hugging him tightly before we pulled away again. "Have you tried to.." "I spoke with her, Levi." The previous day I went in search of Rose. Of course I could have just mindlinked her that I wanted to see her, but I chose not to. I needed to walk around a bit after Damien kept me within the confines of our room for 48 hours. I was feeling a bit stir crazy and so was Alanah. She had been pacing continuously for hours on end feeling trapped. Instead we ventured out, walking around the pack house in search of my best friend. When I did find her, which wasn't exactly hard for me to do, she was out in the small garden she had shown

  • Fated to the Enemy   106

Levi's POV By the time I made it back home I was a complete wreck. My wolf wasn't speaking to me despite the fact that it wasn't my fault our mate ran away from us and locked herself in her room. Honestly he was upset that I had the audacity to leave pack grounds without trying to see her again. I understood. I felt the pang through my chest within every single heartbeat I managed to pump. My heart shattered when she looked at me with those big beautiful wide eyes. That recognition wasn't what I had wanted. However, knowing more about who she is thanks to Alexi, I understood why she ran off, even if I didn't want to accept it. The bitter feeling of rejection lingered throughout my body, but she needed time. She hadn't outright rejected me so I held on to a bit of hope. Being back in this house feels surreal though. My mother's body had been burned and now sat on the mantel inside the office that used to hold my father. It was a blatant disrespect for him to do su

  • Fated to the Enemy   105

Dahlia's POV Continued I am unsure when I fell back to sleep but waking alone on a tattered bed was a bit depressing. I felt for Damien but even his scent was a bit weak meaning he had been gone for a bit by now. As I forced my eyes to open I was blinded by the sunlight seeping through the window. Squinting away I rolled to my side only to wince slightly from where the stitches were still woven through my tattered skin. Forcing myself into a sitting position I brought my legs over the side of the bed before my feet touched the ground. Unlike my dream of the past, the floor held a warmth to it. Stretching out my toes I slowly stood myself up. Sore from whatever position I managed to sleep in I stretched out my back only to hear a loud popping sound that made me sigh out in relief. Trudging myself into the bathroom, not bothering to turn the light on just yet, I relieved my aching bladder before standing in front of the sink to look up into the mirror. My hair was atro

  • Fated to the Enemy   104

Dahlia's POV The moment his lips touched mine a fire ignited deep within my soul. Like everything made sense again in my life. The feel of his rough calloused fingers lightly trailing down my naked back sent a shiver run along my spine. His hands gripped my ass as he hauled me up into his arms, my legs wrapping around his large body. I felt small in his arms. Like he could shield me from the world if he chose to do so. I was safe, protected, wanted, loved. All the things I have truly ever wanted to have or feel my entire existence. He didn't kiss me hard, nor did he hold me tightly. I could feel the worry slipping through the connection we shared at the weakened state I was still in. He was gentle as he carried me across the room to the shredded bed. The bed I managed to destroy all because of stupid dreams of a past I will never have to go back to again. I was truly and unequivocally free for the first time ever. He was gone. The man that did everything in his power

  • Fated to the Enemy   103

Alpha Damien's POV Continued She sat there, her eyes filled with unshed tears as she stared at me. My body went to shift, I wanted to pull her into me and hug her tightly when her eyes fell from mine to the bed below her. The way her eyes widened as she took in the state of our bed when Levi spoke from behind me. "Could be worse considering how gigantic Alanah is. The bed can be replaced, okay Dahl's, get out of your head." I was about to yell at him for the way he spoke so casually, almost mean, to her until a small huff of a laugh left her pink full lips. Tilting my head I watched as the corner of her mouth tipped up before she looked back up. Her eyes went to mine before shifting back over my shoulder where Levi stood. "Guess it could have been the whole room, or one of you." Her voice was a whisper. When she attempted to clear her throat she winced so I stood, going to the side table to grab her some water. Holding it out to her, her eyes locked onto mine and I cou

  • Fated to the Enemy   102 What's happening to her?

Alpha Damien's POV I watched as her body contorted on the bed. The way she twisted then turned looked painful as she whimpered.Everything in me wanted to grab her, pull her body into mine and tell her she was okay, that whatever was happening was only a dream but I couldn't. Levi stood next to me, his arm outstretched in front me.“You can't go to her right now. If she was to wake and see she hurt you it would only break her.”His eyes watched her as I looked over at him. The pain in his gaze told me that this was hurting him as it was her.“Please Alpha Damien, trust me right now. This nightmare can't be undone. Her and Alanah need to finish this.”“FINISH IT?! Look at her Levi! She is writhing in pain!”“I know. This used to happen all the time between the beatings.”His tone was now a whisper so low that without Mikko I may not have heard him properly. This was a nightmare from her past, one that I cannot change for her. Maybe I can't take away what happened to her back then, b

  • Fated to the Enemy   101 Dream 2

Dahlia's POV Continued Levi leapt to his feet just as our father gripped him with his small arm, making him whimper as he shoved him from the room, slamming it in his face, but not before I saw the fear in Levi's eyes. When he turned I instinctually tried to pull myself further away from him, but with the wall already at my back I had nowhere to go. "You are eating these desserts!? What have you done to earn such a treat?" His tone was sharp and filled with anger that made me recoil as he slapped them off the bed making them crash and break against the wall and floor. My body shook as he grabbed my hair, ripping me from the bed. A sharp pain pierced through my head making me scream out in pain. Blood rushing through my ears muffled out his yells as the pain in my head also numbed the sharp slap that slammed across my face. My body began to ache in a way I didn't know was possible. I couldn't help but wonder what he was doing to me to cause this amount of pain. How was
