ANGEL

We continued talking. They asked us questions about the pack, so we answered each one. We wanted them to know what they were getting themselves into if they chose to come with us.

Apparently, two of the young adults were mates and had to leave their pack but did not divulge why that was. We did not push because it was their story. That was Trevor and Callie. They happened upon the rest within the course of three months while they tried to find a place to go. They were turned away from four different packs. They had stayed in a couple of towns but had to leave either because the authorities circled around them or did not feel they were safe.

This experience here gave me another talking point for the first supernatural conference. It was unacceptable that people would be just pointblank turned away when they were seeking help. At the very least, the packs could have reached out to the Supernatural Council, or Coverstone Council, to find the closest sanctuary pack. I would have to a
