ANGEL

My body stretched as I woke up. One of the best feelings was a full-body stretch that pulled your muscles in just the right way. I always let out a groan when it happened because it felt so damn good.

I looked at the clock and saw that it was a little after three in the morning. I was also alone in this glorious bed, but I knew where my mates were.

Three days have passed since our twins were born. A lot of that day was a blur sprinkled with pain and screaming. It was totally worth it though. I would redo it a thousand times if it meant that Mia and Emerson would be in our arms at the end of it.

Ziyah completely healed me shortly after giving birth, which I was incredibly thankful for because it meant that I was able to get back to our new normal. I was able to do everything with our minions without being in pain or weak.
