Break the cycle

I was still making breakfast when Vinx entered the kitchen.

“It's empty."

“What's empty?."

“The fridge, there's no water."

I turned around and saw that the refrigerator was truly empty.

“It was filled the last time I checked."

“I can not drink that thing you guys call water." He said with a look of disgust

I lifted the plate and dropped it on the tray.

“The water is stocked up somewhere, ask Rainee, she might know where it is."

“She's not in her bedroom."

“Where is she then?."

“I don't know, I thought she was somewhere in the house.... How long have you been up?." His tone gradually slipped from casual to concern, if he was slightly drowsy a second ago, he was fully awake now.

“About forty five minutes or so, I slept in Nolaine's bedroom. It's close to hers... "
