Chapter Sixty Two: So full of surprises.

After thanking Melissa for the enlightening conversation and coffee, I walked out of the office following Mark's lead.

The three of us stood awkwardly in the elevator as the robotic voice chimed 'going down'. I could see supposedly subtle looks and the signals exchanged between Melissa and Mark, but I pretended not to see it and looked away.

They were such love birds.

This time around, I tried not to stare at the surroundings of the grand lobby as we walked out of the towering building, it felt like something similar to a drop from heaven, and I was filled with an almost instant missing of the tower glazed view as we walked out of the building.

I didn't meet Lucas standing, rather, I was ushered into the same black Audi that brought me here.

As soon as I got in, I could feel his presence. All over the atmosphere, I didn't need to turn my head to realize he was seated beside me, occupying most of the backseat and straining his long legs that seemed to go on forever on the front seat
