Taking my hand in hers she caressed it lightly as she said, “I am sorry if I scared you by coming here and I know it wasn’t wise of me to put my life or my baby’s life at risk but there are bigger things at stake here,” she took a pause as she looked up at me with her hesitant green eyes as if afraid to say the next words but finally she bit it out, “Asa, I think we are somehow connected to the demon and this curse.
