Explosion

The next morning, I woke up feeling woozy. I hadn't been able to get enough sleep last night cause I was busy worrying about Nimue.

When I fully opened my eyes, however, I almost jumped out of my bed when I met Jin staring at me with a grin on his face.

I drew in a deep breath before I snapped at him. “Dude, what the heck is wrong with you? Have you heard of this thing called ‘boundaries’?" I asked with a sarcastic tone.

To my annoyance, he simply shrugged before he spoke. “Enough of this. Look at the time.” He brought out his phone and showed me.

Hold up, this wasn't the ‘next morning’. It was already twelve in the afternoon. Gosh, I hadn't been able to sleep throughout the night but ended up oversleeping in the morning.

I rubbed my forehead before I let out a sigh. “How did your meeting with the Alpha council go yesterday?” I asked, getting up and heading to the bathroom. I guess we won't be going to school today.
