The Past

The town was buzzing, people were whispering, and all the wolves were howling. In M city one pack ruled over the rest. The Black Family were werewolves shifter and their family governed the city since it's founding.

Tonight someone dared to steal the Black Family's treasure there beloved daughters. Wolves scattered around the city. High and Low wolves can be seen running and searching for the twins.

Near the edge of town a car was speeding trying to runaway from the wolves that followed them. In the end they were cornered and the men took their hostages and fled to the forest. 

One was caught and the other one was injured. The wolves found one princess while the other was taken. They chased the man until they cornered him and injuring him but the man was cunning. 

He knew he was going to be killed so he threw the princess into a passing truck. They would never get their princess and he would have the last laugh.

Little Olivia Black was in a truck going to the next town. When the truck driver stopped at a gas station and saw the unconscious little girl. He was shock but when he smelled the scent of a wolf he dismiss the girl.

The truck driver was a hyena shifter and hated wolves. He left the sad little girl and hoping she would die of hypothermia tonight.

The little girl woke up cold and hungry. She looked around the place and couldn't help but cry. 

But she took a deep breathe and remembered her father telling her to always be brave. 

Little Olivia stood up and walked around. She tried to find help but she was in a remote town. The streets were empty and the snow kept on falling hard. 

The road's were white with snow. After walking for what seems like hours. She couldn't take the cold and felt herself frozen. 

She sat in a corner and watched the falling snow. She didn't know what to do. The little five year old child lost all hope. 

Then suddenly she felt a tap on her shoulder and looked up at an old woman standing infront of her. 

"Littl girl we finally meet" the old woman greeted as she scoop the girl and carried her. "Olivia Black it is nice to meet you" she added.

Olivia Black didn't know why but she felt calm and safe in this woman's arms. 

"It is nice to meet you maam" she greeted the old woman. "Call me Granny Ada little darling" 

Granny Ada led her to a small shack near the border. It was a small wooden cabin and the inside was filled with books. 

Little Olivia was amaze at the books and the magic ruin inside. "From today onward you will be my student Little Olivia" Granny Ada explained as she started the fire.

Meanwhile in the center of M city. The Blacks were both joyous and heartbroken. They have found one but lost the other. 

They didn't know that it was already preconceived by fate. 

In a blink of an eye 2 years have passed Olivia Black studied under Granny Ada. She learned all of Granny Ada's arts and craft. 

"I have taught you all that I know Olivia thank you for everything. You have made this old lady's last moments worth it. Now as a parting gift I need you to go to the gas station near the border and wait. No matter what just sit there and wait. Fate has already preconceived your destiny. It will be bumpy, full of ups and downs but I promise darling it would be worth it Little Olivia" Granny Ada kissed the little girl's forehead. She prepared the little girl and sent her on her way. 

After watching Olivia walked off she smiled and looked up. 'Finally my time is here, it was a fun one' she thought before collapsing and her body slowly turning to little balls of light. 

Little Olivia followed Granny Ada's order she stayed at the side of the gas station. She watched the passing cars as they drove off to who knows where. 

But a few stop by to get gas and some went inside the small mini mart. She had sat there for hours and she slowly became hungry. She only had a bottle of water. She looked around the gas station and saw the amount of litter. Little Olivia had a plan she would pick up trash and sell it later to get money to buy some food. 

Meanwhile a few meters away a family was about to passby this remote town. 

"Alfie gimme some of that" Bentley the oldest Black child told his little brother. "No mom gave this to me and it's mine" Ashford or Alfie stated taking a handful of chips and stuffing it into his mouth.

Bentley looked at his brother it dismayed "Mom must have exchange you at birth Alfie you aint't a wolve but a bear" he teased while grabbing the chips in his brother's hands. 

Thomas the third Black son felt something amiss. He suddenly had a feeling, a sense of anticipation. He ignored his brothers as they started arguing and fighting and looked out the window. As they neared a gas station his feelings intensify.

"Mom Dad can we stop at that gas station please?" Thomas Black asked his parents. "We have a tight schedule sweetheart we need to be by the end of the border by midday" their mother explained.

"Mom please we need to stop at that gas station even for just 5 minutes" he pleaded he knew it was vital they stop. Both Black parent looked at each other and understood that Thomas had the knowing. If he pleads this much it was important.

"Okay Thomas but only for 5 minutes" his father announced. Thomas gave a sigh of relief before taking the last bag of chips from his big brother. "Hey that is mine" Bentley argued "Someone needs this more than you big brother" Thomas stated.

After 10 minutes they stopped at the gas station. Thomas asked to go down from the car in hand was the bag of chips. He walked not knowing his destination only following his gut instinct. 

Then he saw a familiar set of black hair. She was a tiny thing picking up empty bottles of water and putting it in a plastic bag. He quicken his paced and tap the little girl's shoulder. 

"Do you want some chips?" He offered as the little girl turned around. Seeing deep grey eye similar to his own. He thanked God that he followed his instincts. 

The little girl looked at him and smiled. As she took the chips in hand. After two years she had forgotten the faces of her family members but as she smelled the scent of her brother. It felt like a key unlock something in her brain. 

"Big Bro....bro...ther" Little Olivia tears suddenly fell as she sobbed. Thomas also became teary as he wrapped his arms around his little sister.

Thomas led his little sister towards the car. Mia Black watched her son come back to the car with a little girl. When she smelled the familiar scent of the little girl she started crying. The others were dumbfolded as they watched their mother getting out of the car. She hugged the little girl. Soon her husband wrapped his arms around them. 

When Julia Black saw the little girl in her mother's arm she felt herself crying. She went down and joined in hugging her little sister. 

Soon all the black sons followed and all 7 were in a tight embrace. They brought the little girl inside the car. 

"How did you know she was there Thomas?" Alfie asked "I don't know now but I just knew" Thomas honestly answered. As they watched their mother who sat in the middle seat hugging Julia and Olivia. While all 3 Black son's were seated on the back seat.

"Where were you sweety and what is that on your hand?" After calming down Mia Black asked her daughter. 

"I been......" Olivia tried to explained what happened but she voice stopped. She tried again but nothing came out. Oliver Black watched his daughter until he saw a familiar mark on her shoulder. It was a rune. 

5 small petal shaped formed into a big 5 sided flower. It looked like a japanese sakura flower but each petal had different colors. 

"Mia" he called his beloved wife "Look at her shoulder" 

Mia Black stared at her daughter's shoulder and tears began to fall from her eyes. The rune mark symbolize the guardian of the Isle. A powerful being who guarded the craft and art of the Isle. 

"Don't worry sweetheart Mother understand where you been" she said as she wiped her tears and smiled at her daughter. "I am just glad you are back safe and sound" she added
