I didn't mind, though. I believed Liam could give us a better future.

Isabel and I thoroughly fell out with each other a week after her birthday. I was bringing Liam his lunch—we'd already graduated from college. Liam had gotten a tutoring job at an association near our apartment while waiting to make his graduation dissertation.

When I arrived at the association, I saw Isabel kissing Liam in front of all the parents and children, even introducing him as her boyfriend.

I couldn't handle it. One was my best friend, and the other was the man I loved with all my heart. How could they betray me like that?

When Liam returned home, I had a huge fight with him, and we broke up. Isabel came to my place and apologized to me, claiming that she was only trying to get inspired for her artwork.
