Chp 18 Pt 1 The Big Battle

Groups of warriors begin to disappear as they are being teleported to the dragon realm. There are warriors as young as eighteen and my heart breaks knowing some of them will not return home to their families. I hope to end this as fast as possible. All the dragon warriors have shifted and prepare to take back our home. Dimitri walks up to our group.

“You ready?”

“Absolutely,” I reply.

It’s time I got my daughters back and put an end to this. I blink and we find ourselves in the middle of a battle. They were prepared for us. I immediately shift and take to the sky, breathing fire down on the enemy. I see Katerina has summoned her fire tornado and is sending it straight to the enemies side.

It’s a blood bath with losses on both sides. The ground is littered with bodies. I pull water from the nearby trees and send ice spears down on the enemy but they melt before they ever touch the ground. I look up a bit too late as Alastor crashes into me, pushing me towards the ground.
