“This is elder Carole’s granddaughter. What are you doing to a ten year old Derek?”

“Easy Keila. Carole had a witch place a spell on Paige. Paige has clearly overheard her grandmother say something she shouldn’t have. That mark burns her if she tries to talk about it. Dimitri can remove it but it is going to burn her more to try and stop us. I need you to ease her pain as much as you can.”
