Maliyah
I actually enjoyed having lunch with mom. I think that was our longest conversation we’ve had in a while and I can’t believe she is giving me the restaurant. I have no idea how to run one but it looks like I need to start learning.
Once we finish lunch we head back to the pack house. We take a minute to say hit to the twins and little Aiden before she goes back to her Luna duties and I head back to the war room. The scouts should be returning today and I hope they have some good intel.
“How was lunch,” asks Aspen as he walks into the war room.
“It was really good. Did you know mom wanted to give me the restaurant?”
“Yes, we talked about it. There is a reason you get partial control at sixteen.”
“That is because of you?”
“Yeah. I told her it would give you time to le
Aspen I don’t like how easy it seemed for the rogue to get captured and brought to us. He made it seem like he was fighting us but I don’t really think was. The moment the rogue kicks Mark and then bites him, I immediately react. What I didn’t notice was Maliyah also reacted and reached Mark before I did. Maliyah uses her water powers to push the rogue off of Mark but she gets too close. The rogue grabs her and she immediately stops moving. The rogue looks confused at first before trying to slip a ring onto Maliyah’s finger. Mark and I are able to stop him and cuff him to the wall. The ring clatters to the ground and this time the rogue is really trying to escape, angry he failed. I walk over to Maliyah to find her eyes glowing silver and she appears frozen in place. I wave my hand in front of her face but she makes no movements, not even to blink her eyes. “What is wrong with her,” asks Mark. “I think she is having a vision,” I reply. Anytime Maliyah has had a vision it has be
AlastorIt is times like these that I miss Thomas. He may not have been an evil warlock but he sure did have the mind of one. He came up with the greatest creations I could’ve asked for. These mindless creatures obey without question and are easily disposable. These shifters are traitors to the kind any way with their mix breeding ways. Humans are no better as they’re races have been mixing for decades.I am proud to be of a pure blood line though my father had daughter with that disgusting wolf, creating a hybrid. Shifters have lived among their own kind since they were created by Ryuu and it should’ve always stayed that way.I am glad Thomas caved and too Breanna as a chosen mate before he was killed. She is just as smart as he was and has easily taken over his creations. She has been able to make my army stronger and faster as she continues on with Thomas’ experiments with the help of th
MaliyahIt’s been a week since my last vision and I’ve been nervous another one will hit me. I haven’t been able to learn how to control them. They just appear out of no where with no warning. The scouts have recently returned and our map is showing more and more of what the realm looks like. They found were we believe Alastor and the rogues are living but there has been no signs or movement from them lately that we haven’t been able to lay eyes on him. It’s too risky to try and send someone in.It’s been a long day today. I had my morning meeting with uncle Mark, then I trained with Aspen. After I showered and had lunch I have been doing my school work. It’s been nice being able to do my school work at home as I have gotten pretty far ahead to where mom believes I could graduate early if I continue at the pace I’ve been. I close the laptop I’ve been staring at for the past two hours and lower my head on my d
Derek“Any rogue sightings near our borders,” I ask my border patrol.“No sir. All has been silent which also has us all on edge.”I understand their worry. All shifters have been attacked except our pack and we are unsure whether Alastor will make a move or not. Based on what Maliyah has seen, I doubt he’ll make a move here but one can never be too careful.“Well don’t let your guard down. We may have not seen or detected them, but make no mistake, they are watching us. It’d be foolish to believe otherwise. I want four on shift at a time, pairs of two running the perimeter every half hour.”In the distance I hear crying and it puts me on high alert. I turn around and see Maliyah coming from the back door towards me. I can visibly see the tears streaming down her face as Aspen tries to keep up with her. I turn towards her just as she reaches me and she flings herself into my arms, grasping onto
DavinaThese last few weeks Kat, Maliyah and I have been training daily together. Kat has taught us a lot and I appreciate her wisdom. She has had her powers a whole lot longer than I have and has taught us the many tricks she has up her sleeve. The advantage she has is that she is a wolf and can move faster and more agile than I in my dragon form. One of the things she was able to help with is teaching us to adjust our sizes.Kat is able to make herself get much bigger, almost as if she were an alpha. Maliyah and I are able to make ourselves smaller, about the size of a Clydesdale. I have yet to see Alastor be able to do this so I hope it’s an advantage we will have on him. When Maliyah is done training with us and heads to the war room, Kat and I work on trying to handle three powers at once. I don’t want Maliyah practicing this right now. I fear it&rs
TerraSomething has felt off lately but I can’t quite put my finger on it. Every time we train it’s like Leila is with us. I miss that little wolf and her human Malayah. It’s taken some time, but Maliyah seems to be doing better from the loss of our sister, our twin. I don’t think the feeling of losing a sibling is the same as losing a twin. I have been attached to many humans over the years but never a twin and the loss has hurt much more this time around.Every time we have trained with mom and auntie Kat I get this weird feeling in my head and my vision blurs a bit. I let Maliyah believe it’s just exhaustion from training so much and then working with uncle Mark in the war room with the scouts, but I think it’s more than that. I don’t want to worry her until I can figure it out for myself.“Maliyah.”We turn to see dad, mom and Dimitri walking towards
Davina“Is everyone ready,” I yell out as I gather the last of my things and go get Aiden.“Yeah mom,” says Maliyah.“The twins and I are ready,” says Calista.“Almost ready love,” says Derek.I shake my head and try to stifle a smile. It’s always him we are waiting on. It was decided in the last council meeting that anyone unable or too young to fight are to be sent to the dragon realm. They have finally restored it to what it once was with some improvements as well as extra housing for the temporary guests. We have yet to bring up the topic of Maliyah being able to shift into two different beings as we want every one present, including Alpha Brian of the bear pack, for this discussion. It breaks my heart to leave three of my children behind but I know they will be safe with River’s mate, Katherine, and Katla. There are
MaliyahI was surprised when my mother invited me to be apart of the meeting with the dragon elders and council members. I haven’t been to one before so this is a first for me. I know they are going to want to discuss my new ability to shift into a wolf and it’s not like having another spirit with me. Leila has moved on, that I know for sure, but it’s like Terra now has the ability to shift into another creature. It’s apart of who we are now.As I enter the conference room I see Aspen is already there and immediately looks right at me with a frown. I quickly avoid his gaze and take a seat between uncle Gabriel and dad. Every time I see him I feel like I am going to have a panic attack just at the mere thought of him hating me for what I now am. I know I am different and the first of a new species that will only grow.Mom walks over to Aspen before taking her seat and that does
